It's been a while since I've posted. Can you believe we were complaining about $1.65! It's currently $3.01 here in Clermont. When I was in Detroit last week it was $3.45! How I wish gas was $1.65............

Oh yeah, its funny looking back at the people complaining that gas was going to hit $2.00, now its as common as day to see gas prices over $3.00. I live in NC and the current gas prices are $3.14 per gallon! God I wish I could have seen the day when it was $.99, or least been able to drive back then.

Gas prices have come down in Detroit a little bit this week. Last week, it was up around $3.59 but I bought gas yesterday for $3.33. PLEASE go back under $3.. please!!!

I'm happy if I can buy it for 3.50 a gal. now. Never mind if I have to buy gas on the German economy!

I can't even remember when gases were that low. The cheapest I can find here is 3.89, 3.79 if I go out into the nearest suburbs. It's 40 dollars to fill up my 10 gallon tank!

I like to fondly remember the summer I could fill up my Honda for $0.99 to $1.20. I wish I could say I think one day they'll get back close to that but I don't think it will happen.

I remember when it was $.89-$.99 per gallon and it only took about $10 to fill up my car. I remember when $1.50 was outrageously expensive! Now if it was $1.50 I think I'd kiss the ground, I'd be so happy. (Okay, maybe I wouldn't do that, but I'd be excited!) Here in the Chicago area it's about $3.47/gallon. Do you think prices will ever go below $2/gallon? I'd love it, but I have a feeling we'll never see that again.
