Man that was tough for A&M. At least UCLA players and fans have given me a school to cheer AGAINST during the remainder of the tourney.

As for the Hogs of Arkansas, the only thing they have done well was stop Dook from winning the title in 1994. |
She's head over heels for UNC

Best quote from yesterday's tournament (and there's plenty more where this comes from!) Duke ousted, then blasted: Reserve Cam Thoroughman asked if Duke guard Greg Paulus was one of the eight McDonald's All-Americans. When told yes, Thoroughman said: "Are you kidding?" |

Where did everybody go? Everyone's bracket can't possibly be busted.

I'm still here. Truly perplexed that I'm still #1 after two weekends, but still here.

My heart breaks to even be typing this. Please allow me to share a little about one of the most beloved members of the University of Kentucky basketball family.

http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/sports...udd_051107.jpg Note how they list her as an "alumnus" when at the time she didn't even graduate! It wasn't untill 2007 that she got her BA in French. We Pirates don't go around calling Sandra Bullock an alumnus just so East Carolina can have "street cred". Shameless. |

So yeah, the Cool Cats got it right. |

THE COVER JINX StILL LIVES! I was so enjoying watching them choke tonight against Kansas. :D Who cares at this point if my brackets are totally busted. Tonight was worth it! |

YEAH! Not only did UNC go DOWN, I just won a bracket pool! |

Kansas...please come with your A game and be ready to RUN. You all lucked up an caught UNC slipping but please believe MEMPHIS is not concerned with the prestige of the name on your jersey or the PAST success of your program. If you are going to win, you WILL have to WORK for it now, and that includes stopping more that just Rose or CDR b/c the bench is deep enough for another to step up...and they will. UNC's problem last nite was that throughout the tournament, they have been playing teams that couldn't challenge them anymore if they played with their eyes closed. Then they played Kansas and couldn't react--NOBODY expected Kansas to win. How in the world do you come back within 5 points and still end up getting beat by 18 pts? So, this should be a lesson that during March...EVERYONE is BEATABLE by ANYBODY! Ask Duke.... |
