How about the fact it was just a simple typo because I didn't bother to re-read what I typed?

Pobody is Nerfect <-----translate that

Whether it was a typo, poor grammar, or a horrible attempt at "slang," I knew what you meant based on the context.

It certainly wasn't "ghetto" and I don't see you as trying to keep up a "ghetto rep." Whatever the hell that is.

Hmmm....I need to call and se if she is still marrried...I got a bet running

really...I do.

You'll love how I told my little that I was getting a divorce, then. She had moved, and I was in her city, so I gave her a call and asked, "Hey, who took the bets on how long our marriage would last?" She protested, and I responded, "I know someone did - we've always done that." Again, she protested, so I said, "Look, K, we may have a winner...."

what next ... you wanna put gold fronts in my mouf <----intentional spelling error BTW

Your spelling is always ghetto. Trust me, I read the NPHC forums, and none of them type consistently like you do. When you're in the Random Spurts thread and you type that something is "DA TROOF", it's cute. When you are trying to have an intelligent discussion, it's not. You tend to get way too heated and your arguments hardly ever make sense.

I tell you what...since you are busy trying to correct people:

define - "Ghetto Rep"

and how that applies to me.

I think you forget you don't know me well enough to even attempt to apply that term.

You have gotten a lil' toooo familiar if you think I will sit here and let you apply that term to me.

Who the hell are you that you THINK you can call someone out as being 'ghetto'...oh...wait...let's see if you can define ghetto rep first.

Do you own or have some stock of Greekchat I didn't know about?

Now, if I called you poor white trash... (wait....you like to correct people how about PRISSY white trash) I would be wrong hmmm?

I am not here for a popularity contest

or to be 'cute'

or to show off my snarkiness which some of you here have in endless supply

or show off my 'amazing antics'

I come here simply to chat....isn't there a 'chat' in greechat?

just checking.

And last I checked I don't have anything to prove to you.

IF you can't tell a simple grammatical error from someone being 'cute' then you are really dumber than I had mistaken you for.

It's amazing in the quest some people around here take to make others to 'comply' or 'spell check' each other...they just happen to miss that foot flying in thier own mouths.

Now, I am sure you don't need a translator for that.

My sister-law and brother-in-law had a bet that my husband and I wouldn't make it to our wedding date. Then they bet that we wouldn't make it to our 5th anniversary. Well- we made it to both, but they are now divorced. Karma's a bitch sometimes.

FR....how many years?

How many of your friends also made it that far and are still married?

well let me put it in terms that you can understand and then we all can go back on topic:

1. I suggest you watch who you call "ghetto" especially since you have yet to define it.

1a. stop trying to be cute in front of your friends while using such terms....THAT isn't cute...it's akin to a lil kid using a word trying to be grown have NO CLUE to what they are saying and wondering why 5 mins later they are missing teeth...

2. If you or anyone else here thinks that I plan on taking time to go back and do a spell check or look for grammtical errors or find out where I missed a period or anything like that when I post just so I can please some of you young stuck up snot nosed brats...guess what.....I have a middle finger waiting for you....2 if you cant count

Ok??

Have a nice weekend.

Who care's about a pre-nup? if it lasts no one looses, and if it fails then one person looses less (it's almost impossible for a marriage to end without someone giving up something).

Just keep in mind that even the act of getting married is the act of taking a pre-existing relationship that for all intensive purposes is functioning quite well, and creating a legally binding contract basically saying that if the relationship should end up failing and you break up now instead of just trying to avoid running into each other at your favorite watering hole, one person has to give the other half they're stuff, half they're savings, half they're retirement and a portion of they're income, sometimes indefinitely.

So as long as you're going to bring contracts into it might as well add one in that assures that one person doesn't get screwed.

Had an interesting call over the weekend.

My cousin called to give good news....her boyfriend of 5 years finally proposed to her and she accepted.

We are all happy for them of course and she is excited but then, she tells me that he brought up the question of getting a pre nuptual agreement.

Here is the twist on it.

- She is making more money that he is, which he has no problems with.

- His idea is that the pre nup should be good for 5 years and if thier marriage survives beyond that, let the agreement dissolve.

his ideology is that he want's to do this to protect her just in case something happens. They are an otherwise happy couple with no hang ups and 2 wonderful kids but he acknowledges how marriage changes people and God forbid if something happened and they divorce, it could get really bad.

One of thier other friends that we all know had a really ugly divorce after only 4 years but had been together for 10 and as far as we know are still fighting over property.

I told her, I think it may be a good idea...I especially like the part of it not being a long lasting agreement and I told her if that is his way of thinking, I don't think he is being selfish but in a way, pragmatic about the situation and perhaps should at least look into it.

Any thoughts or opinions?

Personally, if I was making way more money than the guy, I wouldn't put an expiration date on the pre-nup.

But that's just me :)

I'm not sure if that really has anything to do with karma. Generally, people who are unhappy in their own lives wish unhappy things upon other people... 'cause you know, if they can't be happy, NO ONE CAN! :p

If they were wrapped up in happiness, they wouldn't really dwell on the fact that they think someone else is incompatible or won't "make it"... it might be a passing thought if they really believed it, but it wouldn't be something that comes up time & time again... :)

But I'm really glad you & your hubby are still goin' strong!
