ZChi4Life, yes I remember watching Today's Special when I was in grade school. Muffy the Mouse was the cutest.
Here are some of my favorites: Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Facts of Life, Family Ties, Wonder Years, Diffrent Strokes (don't forget to catch the 80s special on Nick at Nite tonight!), ALF, Early Edition (what a wonderful show, dunno why the cancelled it), Knots Landing, Falcon Crest, Dallas, Dynasty, 90210!, The Cosby Show, A Different World (I so wanted to be like Whitley), Wonder Woman, Quantum Leap (Thank God for the Sci Fi Channel), You Can't Do that on Television, Mr. Wizards World, Fraggle Rock, MMC, Kids Inc., Pinwheel, and...FAME. I watched loads of TV as a child, can you tell? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif ------------------ *I'm an Alpha Gam...Yes I am, Yes I am!* |
All the oldies but goodies have been covered. I just had to say that I have never heard anyone say "the junk" before in my life. Too funny!!

GI Joe (A Real American Hero, GI Joe is there).
Fraggle Rock, i loved those little green things that built stuff, and then the giants would eat what they built. Um...She-Ra was okay, but He-Man was my ultimate favorite. Skeletor was awesome. I used to have the Castle Greyskull play set. I HAVE THE POWER!!!!! LOL. Other cartoons I liked where superfriends, alvin and the chipmunks(ALVVIINNNNNNN!!!!!). Also,I liked 90210, and saved by the bell. I had a crush on Kelly hehe. |
OOOPS i forgot one. I forget the name of it, but it had alanis moriessete (sp?) and if you said water, then water would poured on your head, or if you said "I don't know" you'd get slimed. That was awesome. Oh yeah, and you can't leave out sesame street. Kermit thee Frog. hehehe

Also, someone mentioned the little green men on Fraggle Rock.. they were called Doozers... they made those buildings out of sugar, which is why everyone wanted to eat them... gawd, I can't believe I remember this stuff. |

I LOVE Relativity so much! Somewhere at home, is every episode of Relativity on tape (I went out on Saturday nights and recorded them). It was such an amazing show. "Mad About You" and "Living Single" are two shows that are gone, but certainly not forgotten. |
i loved 90210- it was my favorite show!!
Some i also miss are.... Wonder Years Full House Perfect Stranger (remember Balki) Saved by the Bell Of course there are no more new episodes of these, but they do show re-runs all the time. I havent see a re-run of Perfect Strangers though. Okay well i am going to ask this again on here and maybe someone knows that I am talking about. There was this cartoon show that i absolutely loved, i am thinking it aired sometime early 90's. It was kind of like a 90210 type show, meaning the kids lived in beverly hills and there was also some evil girl on the show, but it was a cartoon. I think it was called beverly hills teen??? maybe! and i know the evil girl had black hair and her name was Bianca! Does anyone know what i am talking about or am i just imagining things??? |
I absolutely, positively LOVED Melrose Place!! I was so sad when they took it off the air...but I guess that's how life is. Oh well!

I want to see re-runs of all those Croft & Key productions they used to show on Sat. and Sun. mornings -- Dr. Shrinker, Sigmund the Sea Monster (*singing*...and Johnny & Scott are friends...), Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, The Bugaloos, Land of the Lost (the old school ones -- not that newer junk), and HR Puff-n-Stuff (Witchy Poo is my girl!) Anyone know where I can catch any of these?! |
Hi,
Just to toot my Canadian Horn... You Can't Do that on Television - Canadian Today's Special - Canadian Fraggle Rock - Canadian Thought I'd mention it cause so many people said they were faves. My So-Called Life was my fave. I have all the episodes on tape, and I'm usually not a fanaticlike that. I was a Punky Brewster fan hardcore! I think i'd be very dissapointed if I saw it now. Few other faves: Facts of Life, Silver Spoons, Bev 90210 (i was the first one in my grade 8 class to know the whole zipcode off by heart http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif ), who's the boss, growing pains, and i'm sure there were more but i just can't remember now. That sums it up pretty nicely though. Leslie |

My favorite old show would have to be Quantum Leap. That show really made you think...what if I would have done just one thing different in life....
"Welcome Back Kotter" was absolutely hilarious! I used to put my alarm to wake me up in the middle of the night so I would not miss the re-runs! (up your nose with a rubber hose) And who could forget Comedy Central's Ab Fab!!!1 that was great! [This message has been edited by FIUGreekSiS (edited March 05, 2001).] |
