Well you gotta remember, November sweeps start soon. But next weeks episode looks to be very interesting.
|
Um this week was better than last season, that's for sure. But yes, it seemed like it was just to establish certain things and move the plot.

I'm loving this season so far. Actually, I thought last season was good, too, but the season before that (with the Applewhites) was terrible.
Susan is still driving me nuts, though. I can't stand her. I like the addition of the gay neighbors and the one guy's line last night about throwing "a gingham throw" over the top of the fountain was so funny. I was happy to see them pull the "I know what you did in Chicago" trick out of the bag...hopefully that will tame Katherine a little bit. |
Have they ever explained why Orson ran over Mike? I keep wondering if I missed it somewhere along the way.
|
Hmmm...I don't think so. Orson still has some secrets.

I just wish they'd focus more on the characters we like and care about. I am sick of Katherine getting so much air time.
At least if they are going to show her, then I wish the show dealt with her daughter and not the "other" Chicago secret. |
^^^ I love Katherine. Give me her over Lynnette's cancer, more Gabi and Carlos (and Edie) or more Susan and Mike anyday.
And I wouldn't be surprised if the Chicago secret and the daughter secret are the same or connected. |

I keep thinking that Katherine did something traumatic to the daughter's brain -- like a extreme hypnosis, a lobotomy or ECT-gone-wrong. Sure, we all think that Katherine's hubby had an affair with a patient (or at least that is what they want us to think), but I'm sure there will be a twist in that story too. Remember, we all thought that Orson killed is ex wife, until he appeared last season. BTW...I thought that Orson riding the motorbike and crashing was hysterical. |

Here are my theories about Katherine's story line...

As for Susan and Mike, Teri Hatcher can do no wrong in my eyes, but the storyline with Mike has basically been going on since the show started. |

I'm starting to enjoy Orson. When he was drunk last night ("there was punch in the rum?) and wanted to deliver Danielle's baby, I was cracking up. Also funny was the line from Katherine's OB-Gyn Husband about Brie faking the pregnancy.

Orson: "I'M A DOCTOR!!!!" Bree: "Orson... you're a dentist." |

Am I assuming this correctly --- Remember a few episodes ago when Carlos was giving a large sum of money to a random guy telling him the crazy lady had to be taken care of?
Was he paying the guy to hide his money overseas? |

I'm not sure if it was to hide it overseas, but definitely to hide it. He told Gabby that it cost him $500,000 to take care of it, but that wasn't $500k in the envelope.
|
He probably spent a lot of money on the front end (when he embessled it) to hide it and then some more to hide it from Edie.
|
I finally caught up....
I think the authorities are going to find Gabby's cell phone on the boat... I wish they would stop dragging out the stupid Katherine storyline. |

speaking of which... i just finished last night's episode.... |
After watching last night's episode, all I could think was Gabby should go to the cops and say:
"Victor threatened to 'lie' and say I pushed him off the boat if I tried to leave him." |

The woman who plays Katherine was on Regis & Kelly a few days ago and said someone on the show would die.... maybe even two characters  |
I'm totally ticked off at them for showing previews of next Sunday's show as early as Thursday of last week. I thought the tornado episode was going to be this week. The blood curdling scream that Lynette lets out makes me think someone in her family is injured...

It's the last week of November sweeps. I've read on spoilerfix.com that two characters die, one male and one female. One is regular, one is someone who is not a regular star. I hope Tom's not dead! I like his character. Poor Lynette. Kicking cancer's ass and then this, if it's true. |

About the most recent episode... I hope the writers aren't setting us up with Andrew's turn-around. He was pretty believable, and I really hope he's "good" now. I'll be disappointed if I've been duped. Likewise, I hope all goes well with Stella and Glenn. In many ways, this was one of the most feel-good episodes of DH ever. (Don't get me wrong, I know there were several not-so-good moments!) |
I caught the tail end of the show. What happened between Andrew and Bree? I heard Mary Alice say something about forgiveness.
|
Bree told Tom (while Andrew was within earshot) that she, Orson and Benjamin were a happy family. Andrew's feelings were hurt, he found an apartment and moved out. Bree came to his apartment to visit him and he told her that he was disappointed that she didn't recognize that he had changed (while asking her to use a coaster!). Then he said he had forgiven her a long time ago, he just had never told her. They really seemed to have a good mom/son moment.
|
I hope we see more of Stella and Glen. Polly Bergen and Richard Chamberlain are great together!

A tornado’s on the way! ABC describes the episode as the most elaborate episode DH has ever produced. The people of Wisteria Lane are forced into basements, safe rooms, and cellars. Multiple people are killed in the episode, and by episode's end, lives may still hang in the balance. Sylvia (Big Love's Melora Walters) makes a second appearance. Katherine spits in her face. Katherine learns the truth about Adam and Sylvia and it's much worse than she believed. A boy named Chad tries to take advantage of the tornado coming by selling Edie bottled water. She learns Carlos and Gabrielle are packing to move, and not because of the tornado. Victor and Carlos fight. Edie gets her hands on the file concerning Carlos' embezzled money, but Gabrielle breaks into Edie's home and faces off against her nemesis. The file gets blown away by the wind, and Gabrielle and Edie may be the next to be blown away, as the tornado arrives! Mrs. McCluskey appears, as does Ida Greenberg. Lynette spends some time in the episode with Mrs. McCluskey, and their friendship is tested by their actions during the tornado. Susan confronts Orson in his office for giving pain pills. She reminds him Mike has a drug problem. Orson's with a child patient and his mother, who doesn't like hearing Orson's been dealing Mike drugs. Susan threatens to leave Mike if he can't get over his drug problem. Mike brings Susan to the hospital, as she's fallen down the stairs and twisted her ankle; despite her pregnancy, Susan finds it's too busy at the hospital for her to be seen immediately. When a frustrated Mike talks back to an orderly, he's told to leave, and Mike hits him. Mike's handcuffed to a chair. |
Episode 4-10 AIRDATE UNKNOWN, thanks to the strike. It's been filmed, but it's uncertain when it will air.

Two of the women help a dead woman's nephew load his aunt's possessions into his van.. The other woman's upset to learn the man doesn't plan to spread the ashes at a stadium as his aunt wanted. She offers to retrieve the ashes from the woman's house for the nephew. (Note: the nephew may actually be a niece.) The women must break into the stadium to spread the ashes, where they're caught by police. One of the women shakes the ashes out as she runs. One of the women attends the wake of Al, Carlos' accountant, who died in the previous episode. She feigns grief when she meets the man's wife for the first time, but what she wants to know is where his files are. After learning they're nearby, she makes a quick exit. |
