At Louisville, we don't have an actual house. There is a dorm and the entire first floor consists of 5 suites. The suites basically have a foyer, two bathrooms, a kitchen, two large rooms, an office, pantry, as well as a bunch of closets and such. AOII obviously holds one suite, KD, TKE, PiPhi, and all of the NPHC fraternities and sororities, fill up the other four.

Anyway, I can't find an actual picture, but here is the virtual tour of Community Park (which houses the suites). If you go to the front of building still, you can see the front porch on the side!

Wow! Makes me wish I was a collegiate there right now,though about 15 years younger!

I so wish my chapter had a house!! We just got a new chapter room this semester which is great but having a house would be amazing!

Having a chapter room will be great for your chapter. I know it is really hard to have no space at all! We had a dorm with an entire wing to ourselves until it burned down two semesters after I moved. Lambda Tau now has no housing. I think greek life has changed significantly because of it.

It has been great. It's made things way easier to organize and get together and given us a place to go when we just want to hang out :)

Pi Alpha (U of Louisville) does not have a house, but does have a suite with a private entrance. I'm thinking there should be pix in this thread somewhere?

Bonus: This was the IU AOII house when I was at IU in the early-mid 90s. It now houses the School of Informatics (along with the old Beta Theta Pi house next door).

Feeling a little house envy - we just had a chapter room! :( I'm loving all the houses!

Thats my house! :) We love it dearly, and the fact that it only holds a small amount of girls cuts down 98% of possible house drama ;)

We had 2 houses we were in prior to this one. This is the one that we wanted since we first sought out a house back in 2001! :) The alums were ecstatic when we finally moved into it.
