This is the Greek Life forum. You can post whatever Greek related shit you want and you don't have to preface it.

Within the NPHC it does matter. That's the point you and others don't get.

It's a public story that could have been read and posted by anyone.

How many people do you think are thinking, 'OMG Iota sucks so hard now look who they picked up and what happened?'

No one who has read this thread and posted in it is mocking Iota.

Agreed. The only thing people have been questioning are his grades and how he was president.

Ditto to that.

I know about the feature and chose not to use it. Wow, why are you all worked up about this?

Right, this is a forum on which I can post my opinion, and you yours. The difference is I didn't have to curse to get my point across.

ladygreek 08-01-2007 10:16 PM

Whoa,
I didn't realize the Wolfman fan club was so deep. I yield - LOL.

No. We don't and that's a good thing. :D

I don't have a problem with Wolfman posting where he did and what he posted. I know AKA has been a victim of not so flattering news being posted in places other than AKA Ave (here on GC). There was no question at the time why it wasn't posted in the "appropriate" forum, which from this thread, would have been AKA (I guess). If it's news (good or bad), it's news. He chose to post where he did and I am okay with it.

Yes, cursing is a sign of sub-intelligence. Your argument must be invalid because you said shit.

It's not deep. Nobody is viewing this as a mockery of Iota, end of story.

And thus made it seem as though cursing undermines a valid opinion. That's all.
BTW-with the bridge collapse, is everything okay with your family and friends etc.?

Yes, I am fine and so are my sorors and their families from what we have been told. Thank you so much for asking.

I have just one last comment about this thread, since so many of you went there against me. Wolfman has posted many complimentary threads about Omegas in that forum as opposed to here. Seems to me this would have been a better forum in which to brag on accomplishments. So I just found it interesting that he would post a negative thread about another NPHC member in this thread. I found that interesting, because it was only a couple of the other NPHC orgs that fought so vehemtly against Iota joining the NPHC.

But I realize that my opinion is in the minority here--so be it. Thanks Blue Reign for understanding.

Follow up story about Iota President.

When did this GC NPHC post only postive information about other NPHC orgs start? It had to have been "created" after September 2002. At that time, it was evident this GC policy did not exist or the memo was not received by all.

Wolfman only posted the new links, just as others have posted news items that affect all D9 orgs, and til NOW, no one has yet to talk trash about Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc, the SIUE chapter, or the defendent's leadership ability, what was talked about was his academic record and what might have lead to this incident.

and I would still like to know how one's NPHC affiliation matters when news is being reported

It must matter some degree since it was posted in Greek Life.

Okay ya'll have sufficiently kicked my butt. I apologize Wolfman before someone else starts swinging the you know what. LOL
