Good luck Epsilon Zeta! What are your new songs?

kchaptergphib 09-05-2007 06:48 PM

I'm so excited for you 'Bama sisters! Roll GPhi Tide! 65 is amazing, and what's another ten or so when you already have that many?! I'm so happy to hear recruitment went so well for you all and that your work paid off. You make us all so proud! *** snaps all around, ladies! ***

GeekyPenguin 09-05-2007 06:52 PM

Gamma Omega is starting recruitment today! Platteville is doing a few all-sorority events this year, which hasn't been done since at least 2000 (prior to me being there) and I hope it will get a larger turnout for everyone, and then get more girls interested in us! We're the only NPC on campus.

Gamma Pi starts recruitment next week and Kappa is next weekend! :)

SmartBlondeGPhB 09-05-2007 06:59 PM

Lambda starts next weekend as well.

kchaptergphib 09-05-2007 07:20 PM

Pref at Gamma (Wisconsin - Madison) is this Friday! Quota last year was around 36, I think... campus total is 126.
I don't want to count my proverbial chickens before they hatch, but if formal recruitment goes well for all chapters again this fall, UW may be looking toward EXPANSION! (I know, I said it!!) So exciting. I'll have results for all you ladies after this weekend.

Zeta Gamma- Sonoma State Results

Hi all , just thought I'd let you know Zeta Gamma ( Sonoma State University) just pledged quota -38!!!!, along with AGD and AZD, ADPi will be coming onto campus later this fall.
The girls had incredible returns all weekend and while tired they are really excited about their new members-- Bid day is today!:D:D:D

SWTXBelle 09-10-2007 11:33 AM

That's great news!

FloridaTish 09-10-2007 03:47 PM

Florida Tech welcomes 12 new members!

I just found out that the Florida Institute of Technology (Delta Sigma) chapter has 12 new members! There was no set quota for the 3 sororities on campus, as each chapter could issue bids to get them up to total (45) and the sisters will be doing a COB event for their last few bids. At our school they do an informal, partially structured recruitment, as greek life is not really a huge deal here.

I'm looking forward to meeting all the new members!

-Stephanie

PeppyGPhiB 09-10-2007 08:34 PM

Anyone know results for Beta Alpha? (USC)

kchaptergphib 09-10-2007 09:02 PM

44 New GPhiBadgers!

Gamma Chapter got quota of 44 :D
Their membership is now around 136, which is above Chapter Total of 126, so no COR this year.
There are 5 legacies among the new members.
ALL the chapters on campus got at least quota (although quota may include snap bids) as well! Yea for them, too- AXO, XO, DDD, DG, AEPhi, APhi, SDT, KKG, KAT, PBP

UWGPhiBalum 09-10-2007 09:40 PM

Go Badgers! That's awesome! Definitely post when you have more details! :D

GeekyPenguin 09-10-2007 11:38 PM

Hooray to all the chapters who are doing so well - it's a great year to go Gamma Phi, apparently! :) (But then, what year isn't?)

I was at Gamma Pi yesterday helping them get ready and I think they are going to have a great recruitment, based on what I saw! :)

SWTXBelle 09-11-2007 06:21 AM

Florida Tish

Yea for FIT! ( I lived in Melbourne for the happiest years of my childhood)

SWTXBelle 09-11-2007 09:13 AM

Texas Wesleyan University

Out of a reported 17 PNM, they pledged 10!

SWTXBelle 09-15-2007 10:07 PM

University of Texas - Tyler

I've meet some of the wonderful girls from this chapter - any of my Texas Gamma Phis have results??

MerryGPhiB 09-16-2007 08:18 PM

I don't have all of the official details however, the UW ( Univ. of Wash) took quota - which was 30 + 3 informal for a total of 33!!! Congrats to the women of Lambda Chapter!!!

gphiangel624 09-16-2007 11:22 PM

I just finished helping with recruitment at Chapman University where Gamma Phis took quota (46) plus 5 for a total of 51!!

gpb1874 09-17-2007 11:12 AM

Zeta Lambda at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi took quota (20) plus two, which includes 2 legacies! This puts them over total, so they don't need to worry about COB! Some fabulous alumnae visited and helped so much!

kk_bama 09-17-2007 11:33 AM

Mucho congrats to A&M-Corpus and Chapman!

SWTXBelle 09-17-2007 11:49 AM

Fabulous results - yeah for all those chapters!

navane 09-17-2007 09:09 PM

Beta Lambda at San Diego State University took quota at 78 plus four more for 82 new members!!! :D

We're now up to 188 in the chapter!

.....Kelly :)

MerryGPhiB 09-17-2007 09:23 PM

:DGo Gammies!!!! Congrats!!!! Woohooooooo, :D:D:D

GeekyPenguin 09-17-2007 11:04 PM

Gamma Pi (MSU-Mankato) took quota of 14 girls and is now at total! :)

cuteASAbug 09-17-2007 11:07 PM

Congratulations on your new girls! :D Do you by any chance have the numbers for the other sororities there?

Are you referring to the Mankato post? I don't know them offhand (I'm an alumnae helper) but I could email the recruitment chair and find out).

cuteASAbug 09-18-2007 03:16 PM

that's the one, if you don't mind, that would be great, but if it would be going out of your way, don't worry about it

PeppyGPhiB 09-21-2007 02:32 AM

Zeta Theta chapter welcomed 17 very eager new members this week who LOVE Gamma Phi. I'm not sure what quota was, but it's usually around 20-22. Tonight the chapter is gathering for a bonfire and s'mores on the beach, and they're COBing a few more ladies. I'm so proud of my chapter!

fyrnymph 09-21-2007 03:45 AM

Way to go, Zeta Theta!

UWO_2007 09-25-2007 11:36 AM

took in 5 at formal, we're going through informal now... I think there is 15+ that they are seriously looking at (I'm still a baby) we are at UW Oshkosh

Cluey 09-25-2007 02:40 PM

How exciting! Congratulations!

Sidenote: What a great game this weekend! It's unfortunate that one team had to lose. I hope y'all roll the rest of the season :)
