OneTimeSBX 04-10-2009 10:59 PM

*peeks head in*

ran across a ton of fleur de lis patches while i was surfing for breast cancer appliques...just put fleur in the search box and a bunch will pop up!

hope someone can use them!

If any of you live in or near Philadelphia, I've seen some nice fleur-de-lis items in brick-and-mortar stores: bookends and a trivet in the Ross at 8th and Market, and silicone cupcake molds in the Fante's cookware store in the Italian Market.

Pardon the crash...but I saw the below rings and thought of you all:

If this doesn't scream KKG, I don't know what does!

:D

Gorjana is actually a Kappa and was featured in Summer 2009 The Key. There is a reason it is screams Kappa!

Very cool! She has great jewelry & most of it IS very KKG-like, so now it makes sense! What a very talented woman to be able to call a sister! :D

Pardon the crash, but Mignon Faget out of New Orleans has some of the most beautiful jewelry. Enjoy.

I have a Tiffany inspired jewelry to be given to my daughter's birthday next week. It's very elegant but the price is not that great. I hope she likes it.

Sorry for the crash, but Ross-Simons has some great sales right now. Here's an interesting lapis/fleur de lis ring (and very reasonably priced!):

Have any of the rest of y'all noticed that most key items are "backwards"?

psusue 01-20-2010 11:02 PM

Sorry to crash but while I was looking for cute Sigma stuff I came across this:

http://store.delias.com/item.do?item...&branddFilter=

It is such a cute little safety pin with a fleur-de-lis and light and dark blue beads! It would be a really great little accessory to wear for subtle PR.

Yes! My mom and I have gone out antiquing a few times, hoping to find badges with wanderlust. She kept pointing out various key items and at one point I had to say "but Mom, all of those are backward!" She didn't know that it mattered :D I'm sure they look perfectly normal to other people, but the left-facing keys sure do look funny to me.

No need to apologize for a crash when it's helpful! And I had no idea Delia's was still around. Ah, the things you learn each day...

Anyone remember Banana Bob jewelry in the '80s and '90s? There's a pair of Banana Bob earrings on eBay with many fleurs-de-lis, but the auction's over soon.

I can't figure out how to post pictures, but it is a seersucker dress with small fleur di lis on it.

Gorjana is a Kappa and makes so many beautiful pieces with our symbols!

I ordered these for my board members:

A Kappa sister just launched a new website with a variety of personalized items. http://www.personalizeitkingwood.com/
She has several fleur de lis items, in addition to a small selection of sorority items. I love the silver platter!

Please forgive me for crashing, but I've been wanting to share this since I first saw it: the Waterford Ornament of the Year (2012) is a Fleur-de-lis!

I saw it in Cash's catalogue, and they usually ship Waterford for free. Check it out at http://www.shopshannon.com/cmas/ornaments/156424.htm.

I have visions of a beautiful Christmas tree, draped in blues and these ornaments!

There's absolutely no need to apologize for crashing, especially when you come bearing pretty sparkly fleurs! I'm in love with that ornament. I'd have that out on a stand year round.

Saw this fleur de lis AND key fabric in blue and blue on joann! It would make an amazing blanket

Pink and green fleur-de-lis fabric was used for the preppy Kappa's initiation gift.
