A lot of the Yahoo! Leagues that I've been involved with in the past use 3 WRs. ESPN leagues tend to use 2 WRs. I think it's just what the default settings tend to be that the sites set up.

Okay, I'm putting my disclaimer in now: I've *never* been a league commissioner, just played. With that being said...
I was contacted that having some additional bench positions would help when it came to bye weeks of players - so I added bench players (and didn't know how many to add, so maybe I went overboard :o) to the league :) If we have a problem with the number, we can still change it - I'm just trying to make this fun and interesting for everyone! |

In one of my other leagues, this guy I used to work with last year who swore up and down he knew fantasy football (so much so that he wasted 40 buck on the fantasy mags) so I joined his league...he had been trying to pry Steven Jackson (from the Rams and overall number 2 fantasy back) with BS trades that included Cedric Benson...of course I told him no...so finally last week, I got him to trade Joseph Addai and Randy Moss for Jackson...his excuse was that Moss wasn't gonna do s**t in NE yesterday....well.....hehehe....now he has been calling me since 6pm trying to find a way to get them back....LOL |
Wow, talk about pulling one out! I thought for sure I was going to be sunk this week vs. polarpi.
Of course, the league I commish started as it finished last year - with my opponent being the high scorer of the week by far, and my players all deciding to lay eggs. |

But I have to put in work this week as both my quarterbacks (Cutler, Delhomme) are hurt and questionable for week 4. If I cannot swing a trade, Joey Harrington is available on the free agent wire. Steven Jackson (who oustide of W3 has done little from a fantasy perspective) also got hurt, but I'm deep at RB so I should be aright. |
