Raw chicken. My husband finds no end to the fun of chasing me around threatening to touch me after picking up a pack of chicken at the supermarket.

I learned something new today:
Galeophobia: Excessive and persistent fear of sharks "The term "galeophobia" is derived from the Greek words "galeos" (shark with markings resembling those on a weasel) and "phobos" (fear). "Galeophobia" is also sometimes used as alternate term for ailurophobia, fear of cats, because the Greek word "galeos" is derived from "galee," a Greek meaning "polecat" and "weasel."" So I'm also afraid of weasels? It just goes to show you, it's always something! |
I don't have a fear of the average reptile, but on my favorite animal shows when I see a picture of these oversized reptiles, animals which I will never encounter in real life, I go berserk. Kimot(d)o dragons and anacondas.

I am afraid of snakes, like deathly terrified! I am also terrified of needles, tornadoes, and of being abandoned.

Belonephobia- Fear of pins and needles.
Aichmophobia- fear of needles and pointed things They don't fit because I'm not terrified of pins or pointed things. I am down right terrified of needles. I'm not a "oh I'm scared of needles". I am a hysterics, shaking, tears streaming, trying to run fear. The mention of them right now has me close to tears. I am thinking of adopting kids instead of actually trying to become pregnant (if I ever want kids) because of all of blood tests and shots. |
