Hey, thought I'd mention that Sigma Chi installed Santa Clara, Lambda Gamma; UC-Merced, Lambda Delta, and New Haven, Lambda Epsilon last year. Also reinstalled Gettysburg, Theta; in addition to what has already been mentioned. Also, it just reinstalled Maryland, Gamma Chi last month.

Theta Theta chapter at University of Michigan was reinstalled Nov. 14th, with 43 members. Congratulations!

The colony at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers will be installed on Feb 13, 2010. 40+ young men will be joining the Brotherhood that day.

Just to update everyone. Sigma Chi will be conducting NCIs (New Chapter Initiatives) at three campuses next semester: Univ of New Hampshire, Cal State Long Beach, and Carnegie Mellon. Cal State Long Beach is a rechartering effort.

I'm pleased to report that the Sigma Chi Rho colony at Bryant University was chartered this past Saturday, May 1, 2010. If I'm not mistaken 37 new Sigma Chi Brothers were initiated into the new Lambda Eta Chapter of Sigma Chi.

The Sigma Chapter of Sigma Chi will return this coming Saturday, May 8th to the Princeton University campus after approxiamtely 128 years of inactivity! 36 new Brothers will be initiated after having worked diligently for almost two years to bring this day to fruition. Congratulations to all of them! |

He went to Pitt, not SFU, and with his pork record anything he "sponsors" kind of makes me look askance. Not a colony, but the Radford University chapter has completed a 2 year probation and is now officially recognized by the school.

The Theta Alpha chapter of Sigma Chi will be recolonized at Clarion University this fall!! WOOO HOO! Many of the alums involved in making this happen were at Clarion when I was and I can't emphasize enough what awesome guys they are and how much they love their fraternity. |
