Now she's gona come back on and post that she didn't mean to do it and that she didn't think it was funny.

I know it's been done to death, but I really think the WHAAAAAAAAAMBULANCE is in order here.

100% CO-SIGN!

That's the worst thing to come back to after a nice afternoon of shopping. I was out shopping for my niece's birthday present when I get back to my car and there's a nice dent in the back b/c some jackass hit my parked car and took off. No note, no explanation. I had to pay out of pocket to get the damage fixed b/c I didn't want to explain this to my insurance company and end up with higher rates. My husband was so angry about the whole thing. Unfortunately for me, I parked in an area with overgrown trees so the mall cameras could only get a hazy view of the jackass that hit me but not enough to identify the car other than it was a dark color.

People like you, cheerfulgreek, shouldn't be out driving. It's fairly obvious from your posts that you are too irresponsible to handle a moving vehicle.

cheerfulgreek 05-12-2007 11:57 PM

O.K. Would everyone please get off of my back already!!! You guys have done nothing on here but make this thread about me. Get over it! It happened, what do you want me to do? I'm sorry it happened!! Is that what you guys wanna here me say? It's like, I feel everywhere I post it's the same idiot that follows me around and crashes everything I post. Then everyone else follows along. What is this, the I hate cheerfulgreek website? The main person doing this to me is mean, inconsiderate, very combative, very insecure and shallow. Can't you guys just post without making a thread about me? Gosh!

Well, YOU started the thread in the first place. Then you told us what you did to those motorcycles. Did you expect us to pat your back & tell you it would be o.k?
This is GreekChat. Welcome.
If you want people to get off your back, then stop posting stupid shit like you did in this thread.

axidgl 05-13-2007 12:43 AM

You know, you bring it on yourself cheerfulgreek. I personally wouldn't admit to a hit and run car accident on a message board (nor laugh about it as I did). This IS a public place (Then again, I wouldn't have the heart to perform a hit and run-- at the very LEAST I'd leave a note).

PS...I was gonna make an "In this thread we don't make fun of/ harass cheerfulgreek" thread...but this is way more amusing, and I don't think that I could hold myself back for a whole thread.

ETA: PM Mama...at first I was like, wtf? Why is she being like that? But now I have crossed over and have begun to see your ways. Keep up the good work ;)

Dionysus 05-13-2007 01:02 AM

I guess I'm a horrible person, I find CG's accident and hit-and-run stories funny as hell. Not because she puts lives in danger and holes in wallets, it's her candidness about it all. I just imagine her driving around causing serious trouble on the road, and looking back going "oops, tee hee hee hee!"

Yeah but you're Dionysus, so we expect it from you. Plus, you know that finding humor in these situations is wrong. Key is... knowing wrong from "oops I did it again".

It is not about what you did to her or the rest of us. We just don't understand you.

Now what you need to understand is that cheerfulgreek is from Minnesota, where you never say anything mean about somebody to their face. You have just revolutionized her way of thinking, bless your hearts!

It doesn't sound like something I would be interested in, but if you say so.

It's an independent film that became a cult classic. I'm really more surprised that you haven't heard of it. Have you seen Veronica Mars? The chick who plays Mac is in Napoleon Dynamite. Look it up on imdb.com

No, I haven't heard of nor have I've seen any of those movies. Are they comedies?

Laak 315 05-13-2007 10:55 PM

haha, Napoleon Dynamite is "supposed" to be a "comedy", but I thought it was just more ridiculous than anything else...it's worth a look though...maybe you'll enjoy it

It just sounds like it's really stupid.

Napoleon Dynamite is a really quirky film...it's supposed to be a comedy but it's very dry. It's still a really good film.
Veronica Mars is my all-time favourite show. It's in its third season now. I absolutely recommend both, but especially VMars. Napoleon Dynamite just so you know what the hell I was talking about. Hell I think I still have it on my computer after downloading it from somewhere. If you're got the HD space, PM me with your email and I'll zip it up and send it to you. That way you don't have to pay for it.
If you've got Netflix, rent season 1 and 2 of Veronica Mars. I can assure you you will be hooked in the first episode and try to watch it all in the span of two days (like my oh so masculine boyfriend who also loves VMars. It's the chick show guys love to watch :))

EDIT: don't judge the film before you've watched it. You can say it's stupid after you've seen it :P

:o centaur532, I'm sorry, but what's the HD space? I know I don't have it if I don't even know what it is. My sisters always tease me about not even having a myspace account. I'll rent Nepolean Dynamite though, I might like it.:)

haha, he's talking about having enough room on you hard drive on your computer...it has nothing to do with Myspace lol...
