To quote Garrison Keillor, the dark Angel of Projectile Vomiting has visited us. I was sick first, Saturday night, followed by Gypsyboots, and now my 6 year old son. Blech.

I was attacked by a crazy horde of mosquitoes a few days ago and I haven't been able to stop scratching all the bites since. It's driving me crazy. :(

I fell going UP (yeah, I know... graceful) the stairs almost two weeks ago and still have the worst bruise on my knee ever and can't even lean on it without pain. I've never had a bruise like that. I hope it goes away soon... :(

It's not me--but my dad... Without going into too much detail, he was happy to announce on my answering machine that he is going to have "a colonoscopy and possibly an endoscopy. Thru the behind and the pie hole..."

I am still recovering from Gallbladder surgery, which means my immune system sucks and I seem to get every cold I come into contact with!

I just had all my wisdom teeth pulled because they were starting to cause nerve damage. Oh joy!

I burned my hand yesterday on my straightener. I'm wondering if it will go away or if the mark will be there forever, like a brand.

Awwww.....I'm sorry! I had it when I was 21 for the first time and I HAD to get my tonsils removed. I got it I lost 8 pounds from Friday evening to Monday morning. It was AWFUL!!! I had to stay in the hospital for days then I had a wait a month before they removed them.

But that was just me....:):(

Strep throat...I feel like death.

My daughter's been battling it for the last two weeks, and she still hasn't gotten over it yet!:( Hope you feel better!

I just finished antibiotics for a nasty cough that turned into a sinus infection... and now I'm coughing again. I really hope it's allergies.

I am now sick in bed because of complications from my gallbladder surgery which was 3 months ago! Yea for the hell of a low fat diet again!

I'm under medication again for my third sinus infection this year. Not in 12 months. Just in '08.

Have you tried using something for allergies or talking to a doc about allergies? When my son was sick like that, the doctor put him on Claritin daily. I said "But he's got a cold, not allergies" and the doc said that his body was working so hard on fighting off the allergens, it didn't have anything left to fight off colds. Since he's been on the Claritin (over a year now), he's so much better. Just a thought!

I'm on my fourth since April, which is less than I've had in the past because I had my second sinus surgery last summer. I hate the feeling of pain in my teeth and my ears being plugged.

I wish there was a nonprescription decongestant that worked as well as Sudafed, but didn't make me feel so wired that I realize why they use it to make meth if I feel so freaky from taking it.

I took some pretty high dosage hydrocodone Saturday night, and then some Sudafed Sunday and felt bizarre all day. This sinus infection can bite me.

I have an ear infection and it hurts!

I massively overdid my workouts and am now very sore and having a hard time moving. It's my own fault for pushing myself well past my own limits.

My sleeping has really gotten skewed for some reason. I slept for 13 hours yesterday, and now I can't sleep at all. On top of that, I have to be at work a 8am. Maybe that's why I feel like I'm coming down with something.:(

Kid hacked and coughed all day Saturday. Now I am hacking and coughing today. I"m leaving at noon.

I fell down a wet escalator in Philadelphia yesterday at a subway station (Suburban Station...for you Philly folks.) My hands and butt broke my fall, but the edge of the step tore up my left Achilles tendon and now it's swollen and had 4 4-5 in scrapes on it. I also got some bruises.... :(

omg, that sounds terrible, and yucky.

I re-sprained my ankle again today. It's about the size of a grapefruit yet again.

Not to mention I have a horrible smokers cough going on, and I don't even smoke! Argh. Right before I move back to Indiana too!

So since we spent Friday evening together, eating the same food and breathing the same air, and you get sick Saturday evening, and I didn't, I assume you had food poisoning from your tuna and cheese on a tortilla.

I regret bringing you soup, gatorade, and pepto bismol because I now feel like I want to die. I should have left it outside your door and ran away. No amount of hand sanitizer or hand washing could have prevented the worst stomach bug I've ever had. I've never felt this awful, nor have I ever puked up water and pepto, for almost 12 hours.

Thankfully you're bringing me diet Vernor's.

ETA: High school friend, the suggestion of sugar in water was BAD! When I vomited it was sugar syrup and yellow bile. I'm also mad that I've had sinus & throat surgery so there's so much space puke went up my nose and out my mouth. How can there be anything left in my digestive system, HOW? In other news, quick way to lose a few pounds!

Have you tried Zycam? I love this stuff! It seems to shorten how long I'm sick. Fell better and sorry I missed you in San Marcos. :)

Try Emetrol (spelling?) anti-nausea liquid. So, so sorry - I had this a week and a half ago.

He felt guilty and brought me pedialyte and applesauce, and a SQUIRREL! Sadly I puked all of that up repeatedly, and started talking crazy so he took me to the ER. I got hooked up to an IV and felt a lot better.

I'm not sick but I have one of the biggest zits I've ever had right on my chin. Dear Lord! I don't think I've had a zit this gnarly since I was 15!

I'm on my third sinus infection of the year. I guess what really sucks about it is that I had never had one before this year, and now I've had three. What gives? I never knew how much these things hurt - I feel like someone's been kicking my nose and cheeks from inside my head.

Hubby has the stomach bug that's going around. My daughter has had a cough for two weeks, and my son has the flu. Why must we all get sick at once?

I still have a cough, have been sick for like two weeks, though, on and off fighting a cold. Then last week it won and I was miserable but have been working through it, going to the gym has helped.
