Heidi is not smart at all.

I always think that once a guy does something shady like what Spencer does, if you continue to deal with him, you deserve everything he does to you afterwards, because you chose to ignore his sleaziness.

You can totally tell that all of Heidi's friends/co-workers are starting to think she's an idiot for putting up with him. Continued dating of sleezeballs also causes you to lose the privilege of complaining to your girlfriends because after they tell you he's no good, they wont want to hear it the next time he screws you over.

She makes my head hurt.

In other news, the NY intern Emily made poor Lauren look like an idiot in the flower shop. It's too bad that she and Whitney didn't get to stay for the dinner that they helped prep for.

ZTAMich 02-13-2007 06:15 PM

I caught the afternoon sneak peak of the newest episode yesterday. I'm not sure if MTV does this every week but I was able to watch the new episode at 4:30! Much nicer than waiting up till 10 to watch. And since I thought the new episode was kinda dull I'm glad I didn't waste precious sleep time either.

I LOVE the sneak peek because my Tivo picks it up as a first run. I don't know what Heidi is smoking in that episode, but if she's still with Spencer now I'm sure he has a lot of 'splaining to do about Audrina and those Playboy bunnies...LOL

Hmm...she's doing an album with David Foster. Isn't he Brody Jenner's former step-father? I am going to guess that he talent is limited, and everyone is just looking for an easy way to extend her 15 minutes and make money.

And she is letting Spencer have a cut as manager? She is crazy.

Emily was an eager beaver. Those are annoying. I laughed when they sent Lauren and Whitney home.

Lauren is annoying me with this Spencer thing. Yes, Heidi is an idiot and Spencer's a lame. But Lauren's whole "you never choose a man over your friend" shows her age.

Yeah, Lauren irritated me for some reason with this episode.

I still can't stop doing a chuckle a la Beavis and Butthead everytime they show Spencer.

WVU alpha phi 02-14-2007 11:36 AM

OK what drugs is Spencer taking? Seriously I don't think he's been normal in any episode, my friends and I are leaning towards steroids cuz he always has veins popping out on his neck, or coke because he pretty much has no control over his jaw. Every time they show up I just get annoyed cuz he's such a douhebag.

Thats not coke........thats Spencer trying to talk like a wannabe douchebag California surfer boy. "Whats up brah, yo brah, killer waves brah, don't call me a tool brah.......I don't move my bottom jaw when I talk brah."

He is easily the biggest loser, GDI queer I have ever seen.

OtterXO 02-14-2007 02:43 PM

I think that he's just a tool......and he's sounding slightly too much like a not hot Matthew McConaughey using SoCal slang wannabe for my taste.

KSUViolet06 02-19-2007 11:28 PM

I'm *gasp* feeling sorry for Heidi after this episode. I think Lauren is putting her in a tough spot. Everyone knows that it's hard to date someone that your freinds don't particularly like. While Spencer is shady, Lauren needs to respect her choice to get back witrh him. All she's doing is putting a strain on her friendship by continuing to bring it up.

PhiMuLady150 02-19-2007 11:29 PM

Spencer just wants to cause trouble...he's a playboy and it's totally obvious

DSTCHAOS 02-19-2007 11:33 PM

1. Spencer's an idiot
2. LC is intruding a little too much.
3. Heidi is blind to the facts.

LPIDelta 02-19-2007 11:37 PM

I believe Spencer has some kind of compulsive lying disorder. He just cannot seem to get a story straight and he likes to embellish to make himself look better.

I don't feel bad for Heidi--she chose to spend the night at Spencers, hang out all the time with Spencer...etc. Of course you are going to lose touch with your friends when you spend all your time with you boyfriend.

WVU alpha phi 02-20-2007 10:43 AM

Lauren needs to back off and mind her own business. Everyone's been in a situation where they don't like their friend's boyfriend. She made her feelings known, that should've been the end of it. If Heidi gets hurt, she was warned and it's her own fault for not listening to everyone else.

That being said, it seems like Spencer is brainwashing Heidi. I always wonder what they think when they watch these episodes and see what was going on behind their back.

OtterXO 02-20-2007 03:22 PM

Yeah Spencer would be very bad playing the game of telephone. On the Lauren/Heidi situation, I think Lauren is actually in the right on this one. Especially considering that Heidi (apparently) did the same thing to her with Jason. I mean, that AND that Spencer totally confronted Lauren when they were all out....that was a little uncalled for.

The previews for next week look awesome. I'm excited.

GeoffZ 02-21-2007 12:49 AM

Spencer & Brody really are douche bags:

http://www.people.com/people/article...012316,00.html

He's denying it now, but I believe Details.

epchick 02-21-2007 01:07 AM

I do agree with you guys, to a point, that LC is intruding too much into Heidi's relationship. But I understand where LC is coming from. I'm dealing with a similar issue at the moment. My "best" and "closest" friend here is dating a guy that NO ONE approves of anymore, and she lies saying she's not with him (even though she is) and now she's back with him. I understand Lauren's frustration with Heidi cause i'm having that same frustration. Its hard to just back away when you know that your friend is just going down the road to destruction. How can you just leave your friend alone to deal with it, especially when you live with friend! You have to see that relationship daily!!

PeppyGPhiB 02-21-2007 02:59 AM

I'm with Lauren on this one. I can't stand it when friends ask me for advice, I give them my honest opinion, then they ignore it and want to continue to air all their related problems to me. Lauren has to live with Heidi and listen to her complain about Spencer daily. And I wouldn't want Heidi giving my number to Spencer's friends...maybe Lauren didn't want to associate with Brody? Guilty by association, I say. Especially after he's already been with Kristin C., right? Ew.

It just reminds me of how young they are. Eventually they'll learn that it's good to trust your instincts, and that if something seems fishy, it usually is. Spencer is a total player, I'm sure Heidi knows it, but she thinks he'll change. He won't...at least not for several years probably...not until someone calls him on it and dumps his ass. Audrina knows what's going on...maybe she's learned from past experience.

Funny how they seem to expect a lot from their "boyfriends" in the ways of looks, money, etc. but don't have high standards for character traits. I'm sure they'll figure that out as they get older too.

What a lame.

DSTCHAOS 02-21-2007 01:07 PM

Don't get me wrong, I did see where LC was coming from. But I've been the friend many times before AND the person who has made bad relationship decisions. So having been on both sides and being almost 30 years old now, it's best to just back off. Heidi was dumb for telling LC that Spencer bought the roses for HER. It's like they are trying to win LC over but at the same time want LC to mind her own business. You can't have it both ways.

LC had two televised and horrendous "relationships": Stephen and Jason. She may've learned a lesson from them but there's no need to get holier than thou and preachy now. She's made her opinion known and now it's up to Heidi to not bring her relationship with Beavus and Butthead home with her. Spencer is an idiot but let Heidi be the only one losing sleep and inner peace over it.

On the other hand, I see Lauren as an authority on bad relationships. Speaking as someone who's been a "Heidi" once or twice -- I only wish I'd listened to the holier than thou lectures because in this case, she does know best. But I agree -- Lauren should just let Heidi alienate herself and be brainwashed and I cannot wait until that girl comes to her senses because she's going to feel like sheeeeeee-it later on!

I so wanted to hug Lauren tonight. Who the hell does that? The girl got your real diamonds for chrissakes! Heidi's so full of shit. So's Jen. If I were Lauren I woulda flung that phone right at Heidi.

On a side note -- I couldn't help but get nostalgic when she showed the Geisha House. *Le sigh* I long for romantic summer nights at the Geisha House with Mr. Bennett. :o

sassynay 02-27-2007 12:42 AM

Im so sick of Heidi

Im so sick of Heidi, and tonight's episode was the worst. She is no kind of best friend. She has no idea what a friend is and neither does Laurens other "best friend" Jen. Why would Heidi tell Jen to have fun it's your birthday with a guy who has already hooked up with Lauren. I felt so bad for Lauren tonight, she gave diamonds to that girl. Brody is scum and Spencer, I just have all sorts of nasty words to call him. Where do they find these men.

KSUViolet06 02-27-2007 12:53 AM

Poor Lauren. It sucks that you can't trust your roomie or your childhood best friend. I think she should just move out and move in with Whitney. LOL. That seems to be the only person she's getting along with right now.

Heidi is wrong for not being honest with Jen in the beginning when she clearly asked "Well do you think Lauren would care if I went on a date with Brody?" She could've said "I'm not sure, you should really ask Lauren about that." or "Well they've been hanging out so I don't think she would like that." She just said "Don't let Lauren control your life." She openly gave Jen permission to do something that I'm sure she knew would hurt Lauren's feelings.

She's one of those girls who will burn all her bridges with her good friends for Spencer. Then when they break up, she'll be sad because she'll have no one.

sdsuchelle 02-27-2007 01:12 AM

Ugggh Heidi reminds me so much of girlfriends I've had in the past... its like once they get a boyfriend (no matter how big of a douche he is), they forget about their girlfriends or even turn on them.

Whatever Heidi is going to get screwed over and then come running back to LC.. I hope she says "I told you so!".

DSTCHAOS 02-27-2007 12:44 PM

Heidi and Jen are shady bitches.

KAKballs13 02-28-2007 04:49 PM

Lauren should bring back Lo.. I liked her... or at least she should hang out with Whitney or even Audrina more, they are more of friends to her than Jen or Heidi

KDAngel 02-28-2007 05:05 PM

I can't believe Heidi. Even when Jen had doubts, Heidi egged her on. Lauren doesn't need to keep forgiving her either. She's just really an immature person. I can't believe we (on the boards) thought she was showing signs of maturity earlier this season.

It only takes a boy and being blinded by "love" to throw all of that out the window.

when are reruns for this show? i really want to get into it! I have heard only good things about it

You can watch some of them online at MTV.com. As for this week, yeah, if Lauren and Heidi have made up since this all happened I'm sure Lauren is totally pissed again. I would be, that's such a violation of the BFF Code.

angelic1 02-28-2007 08:24 PM

There was one part from the other night's show that really stuck out true to me. LC when talking about her 'friends" and how they were really fun to hang out with, but at this point not much more. (some thing like that)

I think a lot of people go through this type of things with friends, not necess. this situation, but a point where they grow out of certain friends. I had friends where I finally realized beyond going out partying with them there was not much more there. They were into that and cared more about that then the actual friendship.

KSUViolet06 03-06-2007 01:08 AM

Spencer has Heidi wrapped around his finger and it's so sad. He used the whole "she made Jason a priority over you before" argument. It sucks that she bailed on Lauren like that (and just leaves her a NOTE?!). I wonder if those 2 are still together?

DSTCHAOS 03-06-2007 01:23 AM

I love the black trench dress that Heidi had on during lunch with Beavis.

Whitney's little sister is cute. I can see Whitney is frustrated with being a gofer. I'm frustrated for her because she often deals with unappreciatively demanding people.

LC need not be worried about scheduling friendship dates. I didn't know it was uncommon for friends and roommates to not spend every off-work moment together. Maybe that's my age difference talking. Heidi is having issues and appears to be shady as hell. THAT'S the important thing. NOT that she's not making time for LC.

Did I see the preview for next week's show correctly? Is Lo making an appearance?

Yes! I'm so excited!

Over on TWoP, there's a bunch of recent interviews with Heidi posted. Girl seems shadier and shadier to me with every single one of them.

I knew that Jason was bad news. It is a good thing Lauren got rid of him.

This was on our local news the other day. I always knew he was a total loser, glad Lauren got rid of him. What I want to know is, what was he doing in Pitt County, NC?!?!?

KAKballs13 03-08-2007 12:28 AM

i missed the previews.. Lo's coming back?!?! i loveeee her

RoyalEmpress33 03-08-2007 02:05 PM

Okay, I know I'm late but here's my take on it.

Heidi: Liar, lacks loyalty, fake. My mouth dropped to the floor when Lauren and her were discussing what had happened on Jen's birthday, and Heidi claimed that she "tried to stop it". Bitch please. You were encouraging her to do it. Right after the girl bought her diamonds for her birthday. The audacity of some people. Does she not realize that eventually Lauren is going to watch this?

Lauren: Good friend, but way too involved in Heidi's romantic affairs. You can only advise someone for so long. If Heidi wants to be with that jerk face, let her. She'll learn when she gets her feelings hurt--again.

Audrina: Nice girl. Maybe she'll be a better friend of Lauren's. Only time will tell.

Spencer: Bleh!

He was making an appearance at ECU's campus. I was down there that weekend visiting my cousin and a friend from high school who happened to smoke with Jason the following day.. apparently his arrest didn't faze him too much.
