I really know what your problem is but why are you going after me now.

I wasn't even replying to you, just the rather unusual "pillow talk" comment.

But lobbint it back to you, why are you so relentless towards me as I think this has gone beyond the question that I have asked.

You keep going without it adding value to the thread, so why not everyone else? You said "do any of you actually really talk to your spouse." Any of you is a general stab at those who question your knowledge of this scenario.

I am sorry that things have gone like this. As far as I am concerned it is gone. I haven't mentioned nor do I intend to mention this to my wife. Hopefully they will never find out about this.

What has upset me though is the condensanding tone that I have recieved which is sad. The days of going to the back of the bus are over. No one should be talking down to anyone.

That is sad. It is noble to try to help your wife and one would think that this would be a good place to compare notes. I was suprised by the harsh tone and ad hominem attacks you received (really, attacking someone's user name?). It is especially suprising after the mods warned against such things recently (I guess that doesn't apply after one reaches a certain post count).

I did get some helpful advice and words of encouragement from some very nice people through private messages. For that I am thankful as well as happy. This more than makes up for the abuse on this thread.

I understand your concern regarding your wife's alum chapter - when I was unhappy with my former grad chapter, my significant other had to deal with it, too. However, in light of the direction things have gone, it may be better to talk to your wife about it instead of GC.

I do hope things work out for your wife either in her current chapter or in her new chapter.
