I dont get HBO but I have seen some episodes of Sex and the City and totally love it..do you think its worth it to buy the tapes of the seasons? Do they have all four out yet or just up to season 3? Thanks.

I recently bought season 3. They don't have the fourth season out yet and it'll probably take a while...it's like a movie (takes forever to get to tape). As for the value, well I'm biased, but I loved watching the whole season and thought the $40 was worth it. It's something I can keep forever and watch as many times. I want to buy seasons 1 and 2, but am taping season 5 myself. I'm a huge fan but even I missed out on some episodes so I found having it ALL on tape worthwhile!

I love SATC!! I have a fiesta every Sunday night at my apt and my friends and I drink Mimosas and eat chocolate covered strawberries and other yummies. The number of partiers keeps expanding, and now includes 2 guys-who knew that guys liked this show so much??

But, I am glad that Samantha dumped Richard. But that ring!! We were all screaming when she gave it back. And I think that Miranda and Steve should be together-he's so good at putting up with her abuse and he is so nice to her.

All I have to say is WTH? I did NOT expect this season to be so short! I was watching it and it said there are only TWO more episodes? Doesn't make sense when this was only episode 4 of season five. I know when I bought the complete season three videos it consisted of Four videos with 4 shows on each.
Anyone understand?!?!?!

I don't actually watch the show but I think it's a short season because Sarah Jessica Parker & the actress who plays Miranda are both pregnant in real life.

Yes, this is true... they cut it short because SJP was starting to show too much and couldn't work the long, hard hours during her pregnancy.

I'm very surprised that Carrie is going to leave her whole life behind in New York to live in Paris. I mean, I can see where she was coming from when she snapped at Miranda, however it just seems so unlike her.

I look back at her and BIG and when he went overseas, and Carrie didn't seem willing and ready to pack up and move then. Now this might be different in that BIG didn't invite her back then. However it just seems different.

i know its probably a lil late to mention since the show is almost done, but watching as a chapter is a cool sisterhood event. we used to get together and watch a tape of the past weeks episode at the house and everyone brought their own dinner. it was way fun and totally better than watching it alone in your dorm room or at home!!

Yeah...when I was in school we used to get together in the TV room to watch Dallas. Ya know "Who Shot J.R." was a big deal! Ooooo...am I dating myself? LOL

Yeah that is a good idea and could still be done if the ladies owned the dvd/video sets of each season. You could have MANY nights of SATC fun!
