It looks like the Florham/Madison campus has ZTA, DPE, TPA, and PSS. Teaneck has AEP and TPA (TPA is there according to the school's Student Life website.) Is Phi Mu colonizing at one of the Fairleigh Dickinson schools?

New Jersey is too confusing. Hint: New Jersey University, New Jersey State University, etc. :)

AEPhiSierra 10-17-2006 10:51 AM

I double checked the TPA website one since I remember the collegiates telling me they were the only NPC and they indicate they are no longer on campus. I honestly doubt Phi Mu would colonize at Teaneck. Phi Mu doesn't have any chapters in NJ or NY and since Teaneck's greek life isn't thriving I don't think they would start there.

Maybe somebody gave you some misleading info....I'm about 99.9% sure that Fairleigh Dickinson only has 1 campus.

I'm not from NJ--but I'm pretty sure I'm right on this one.
Someone correct me if I'm not.

I am from NJ (close to Madison) and you are correct - FDU Madison is the one. There used to be Teaneck and East Rutherford previously but one campus was sold to Felician College. I am not familar with Ewing NJ but if is a satellite campus of FDU, it does not have NPC groups at this time.

TCNJ is a state college in Ewing, New Jersey. FDU (both the Madison and Teaneck campuses) are private.

There's also no longer a TPA chapter at Clarion unless they are attempting to recolonize again (it was tried last fall).

Also, Clarion did conduct an informal rush from September 5 through September 21.

Some of the University of Illinois totals didn't seem correct based on what I've heard. But granted, I'm no authority.

Syracuse recruitment is over. They had a new high this year with over 700 PNM's! Quota was 45. Heard from my sisters on campus that 9 out of the 12 houses made quota, including Phi Sig with 45 w/3 quota additions. :)

lauralaylin 02-16-2007 01:05 PM

Tufts doesn't have a Greek Adviser this year, and they have no plans to hire a new one. Because of this, there were a huge amount of problems with rush. I'm hoping that the drop in women signing up for rush gives the administration the kick in the butt needed to hire a new one.

lilzetakitten 02-19-2007 02:08 PM

Christopher Newport University (VA)
Quota was 16, and everyone made quota :)
ZTA, Phi Mu, and Alpha Phi all got 16.

California University of PA did not use quota this year. Through Formal recruitment we got ASA-8, AST-1, DZ-6, SK-2, Phi Sig-1 but there has also been a couple weeks of COBing and the TOTALS for Spring 2007 so far are: Alpha Sigma Alpha-11, Alpha Sigma Tau-3, Delta Zeta-8, Sigma Kappa-11, Phi Sigma Sigma-1

Just wondering--does anyone know how sorority recruitment went at Valparaiso U. in Indiana this 2007 spring semester? I have looked, but I could not find a final count, and I was interested in what quota was and what each NPC group took.

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have the complete results for rush at UT?

banditone 04-05-2007 02:49 AM

UT? University of Tulsa? University of Tennessee, University of Texas, Tulane sometimes thinks they are UT. Sorry. I am usually pretty good at getting rush results - just need the actual school name.......

p.s. Lanesig, I could go for some results in PM for the new SN chapter down there. Also, if anyone at Ark knows how the AOII's are doing that would rock. (they started their chapter brand new recently also) thanks.

Being that the poster's location reads "Austin, TX" I'll assume it's the University of Texas.

UGAalum94 04-05-2007 11:11 AM

I think for most people, and please correct me if I'm wrong, the first UT you think of is Texas.

Sure, it could be all those other schools, but if they were on a board covering everyone in the nation, I'm guessing the folks in Tulsa would be more modest and specific.

The folks at Texas are filled with pride; heck, we've all heard of Texas and they know it. I think Tennessee is almost always referred to as just Tennessee (although occasionally much worse by SEC fans) and I've never heard anyone call Tulane anything buy Tulane, expect when they are trying to be funny and say "the Green Wave."

Musicwalksuhome 07-14-2007 03:45 PM

numbers are wrong
Phi Mu at Wake Forest in NC actually ended up with 33 girls
