One of my biggest pet peeves is when people "apologize" for other peoples' so-called shortcomings. Like and When people do this, it just makes them look too weak to call (what they consider) a spade a spade. If you're going to apologize for something, apologize for something you have control over - don't apologize for someone else.

My GC pet peeve is having GCers threaten to call your Inter/National officers just because they don't like what you say on the message board.

Another GC pet peeve is GCers actually meddling in another organization's business, and then proceeding to spread false information online.

I don't know which one irks me more. :rolleyes: :confused::confused::confused::confused::eek::mad: :(:rolleyes:

I haven't been here long, but I have a pet peeve.
I hate it when someone says "I'm not going to respond to that topic anymore, bla bla bla" and then they keep on arguing with people over the topic they weren't going to discuss.

Stupid.

Getting unsolicited PMs from troublemakers because they know if they posted that shit on the General Boards, it'd get deleted in a heartbeat.

That's why my PMs are turned off. It's so much better this way.

Those two things are what make message boards fun. :D

My pet peeve is when someone doesn't have a better retort than "you have (insert number) of posts so that means you (insert whatever high posts are supposed to be indicative of)" or "you need to get a life/have sex/find a man/eat mor chiken." Just type and don't worry about what usernames may or may not be doing in real life. Unless they continue to share their personal business, which may be a different story.

That's funny b/c that has happened to me a couple of times. But I get more PMs from people who want to talk mean about someone I'm disagreeing with on the board. Some of them want to say hurtful things via PM but want you (in general) to be the only "bitch" on the main board.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who got those too.

It's tough being the token bitch for the silent folks.

It's like, if you want to call someone out...just friggin' do it and don't ask others to do it for you!

That happens in real life, too. I hate it when I am in a debate over a controversial topic and people later come up to me and says "ya know, I agreed with everything you said but I couldn't think of the words to express it." You mean to tell me that an adult couldn't think of the words? Or were you just scared to go against the grain and not be kissing ass for the first time in your life? Yet you were fine with watching me debate a point against a group of people and be labeled a "disagreeable bitch?" :rolleyes:

I agree but the discussion actually fits with the topic. :) In closing, a pet peeve of mine is people who type under more than one username.

My pet peeve is people who say something mean and then add smiley faces to it. Not something done in a joking manner, or even snarky but it's an actual cut down (or at least attempted) followed by :)
