i do not like reality tv

does anyone else remember the show "Parker Lewis Can't Loose"

kind of knock-offy of Ferris Bueller, but as the show went on it did more to differentiate between the show and the film

Senusret I 06-02-2008 12:23 PM

LOVED that show.

With Corin Nemic as Parker and that guy from ER as Kubiac. In fact, he will always be Kubiac to me.

I don't know why, but I've always loved that name (Honor) for a little girl.

Every now and then I will do a search for it on google, or columbia house, etc. to see if the DVDs are out/coming out.

If I find anything, I'll let you know. (and Sensurset1)

you can sign a pettetion and apparently download some episodes

nittanyalum 06-12-2008 11:24 PM

I stumbled upon the "A List" awards on Bravo and have clicked in and out, catching probably about half the show. Kathie Griffin is now officially my favorite awards show host.

Definitely watch the repeat of it. It was so much fun to watch. Don't miss her opening "song." HYSTERICAL!

i cant BELIEVE i missed it - she is my absolute fav right now. my friend went to the show (bummed tickets off his boss, lucky duck!) and said he had tears coming out of his eyes, she was so hilarious.

in other news, Katherine Heigl, really? youre still in the running to becoming America' Next Top Sweetheart - not! this BS youre pulling with this Emmy, come on.

youre totally replacable you know. Knocked Up was funny but youre not the only one who couldve played that role. you have Seth Rogen's baby onscreen. he's no effing Brad Pitt.

Sit down.

tld221 06-14-2008 11:51 PM

anyone excited about the World Series of Pop Culture on VH1? man, that competition gets STIFF!

Sara Evans marries the former 'Bama QB

Normally I would give two shits, but I do find this piece of news info, as it states that their first dance was to Chris Brown. :o

That was soooooooooo funny! The whole thing was hilarious. I liked her "quick change" that she did at the begining of the show.

RU OX Alum 06-25-2008 12:02 PM

is anyone else excited for the release of the new Franz Ferdinand LP?

nittanyalum 06-30-2008 11:53 PM

Just saw an ad for the new 90210 that had the cast in it -- from that quick glimpse, not impressed with the guys they chose for it so far.

CW.com has got more info on it. It really, really screams "We ran out of ideas, so we're going to resurrect a classic and ruin it". If it makes it more than one season, I'll be shocked.

tld221 07-01-2008 08:08 PM

this ep of Moment of Truth, LOL. the husband and son have shades on, theyre too embarassed to be associated with the truth but not enough to get in on the money.

DSTCHAOS 07-01-2008 08:11 PM

^^^ I never understood why people wear shades to hide their identity.

Unless they distort your features and your voice, can't people still know who you are?

Brangelina checked into a French hospital this morning.

Looks like she'll pop out 2 more pretty soon.

Earlier reports of her giving birth were wrong. People broke the story this morning: http://www.people.com/people/article...209772,00.html

LOS ANGELES (AP) — It's Love, Angel, Music, and Baby No. 2 for Gwen Stefani, who on Thursday gave birth to a boy. Zuma Nesta Rock weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces when he was born Thursday afternoon, according to publicist Dave Tomberlin.

I love Gwen Stefani to death, but is she serious with her 2nd child's name?

I think it's cute. It totally reflects her style.

I wonder if 'Nesta' is in honor of Bob Marley? LOL

I thought I posted this already, but apparently Diddy is getting married to 17 year old pop/R&B singer Cassie.

I'm pretty sure I saw it in my mom's Star magazine, let me see if I can find an article about it.

The bachelor father of six is quietly telling close friends and family that he and singer Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura are heading to the chapel

Diddy revealed his engagement to the Connecticut native at his son Justin's eighth-grade graduation ceremony in Riverdale, N.Y., on June 5. The hip-hop megastar met 17-years-younger Cassie after signing her up to his label, Bad Boy Records, in 2006.

knight_shadow 08-22-2008 01:38 PM

^^^ Cassie is 21. And I thought he married the mother of his children?

Either he moves fast or I'm waaaaaay behind.

He and Kim (his baby mama, the model) broke up a while ago. I think she was the one who left him.

ah yes you are right. I got confused when I saw the 17---but that's the age difference between Diddy and Cassie.

OK, I was about to say lol. Diddy should know better than to marry a minor!

I was just talking about Da Brat yesterday, and now I find this out:

A DeKalb County judge sentenced rapper Da Brat to three years in prison Friday for striking a woman with a rum bottle at an Atlanta-area nightclub.

Superior Court Judge Gail Flake also sentenced the rapper, whose real name is Shawntae Harris, to seven years probation and 200 hours of community service.

nittanyalum 09-08-2008 10:35 PM

Is anyone else watching the new series Raising the Bar on TNT? Mark Paul Gosselaar's in it (I think I've watched all of his series, yes, including Hyperion Bay, LOL) -- CANNOT get used to his hair in this one so far.
