1st trimester only. Although that's also debatable. (Better safe then sorry)

angelove 07-03-2006 03:50 PM

Her reps are telling the media that her new hair color is from a harmless vegetable dye.

You don't really think Britney would do anything careless to harm one of her babies, do you? ;)

Ok, I don't like Brit...but having to defend dying your hair when probably 98% of OBs will tell you it's safe after the 1st trimester is riduculous.

texas*princess 07-03-2006 05:20 PM

what does dying dead cells on your head (hair) have to do with a baby inside you? does the dye sink into your head and travel to the fetus or something?

hmmm... well, brit brit has certainly used a lot of peroxide and bleach over the years... perhaps it sunk into her head after all

I remember working at a hair salon and pregnant women wouldn't color their hair after a certain point, not just during the 1st trimester. Actually I think they said you're not supposed to do it at all but maybe that was just with bleach. Anyways, it's harmful to an unborn baby somehow but I can't remember.

It's not exactly the dye, but the fumes given off by the process. Ammonia is harmful to breathe in, and is present in most dyes. I'm sure that other gases released in the process can be harmful also.

However, in the second and third trimesters the fetus is stronger and, as such, studies have shown that it is within acceptable limits to dye (not bleach) a pregnant lady's hair then.

Yep bleach it was. They couldn't get their hair hilited after a certain time because of the bleach. I think there's something to do with the chemicals of the colors and getting into your system.

I kinda like Brit with dark hair. Gives her a less bimbo-y look

Tippiechick 07-04-2006 01:57 PM

She looks like her mom with the dark hair. I certainly think she looks more sophisticated and grown-up with darker hair. I like it SO much better than her very light blonde days, but perhaps not as much as her dark blonde days.

kddani 07-19-2006 06:39 AM

Finally got this issue a few days ago. Not too impressed. I mean, I understand all magazines photoshop, but she doesn't have a single stretch mark showing, lol, she's preggers with her second kid. She has moles in some pictures but they're photoshopped away in others and her skin is just perfect. Her arms are also photoshopped to be a lot thinner than they are.
The article isn't all that great.

AlphaFrog 08-18-2006 12:58 PM

I hate to do this to everyone at lunch time, but I had to share:

http://entimg.msn.com/i/gal/Undresse...rbucks_400.jpg

Nice bra. And that Frappuccino not only has way too much caffeine for a pregnant woman, but enough saturated fat for a week.:p

MSN's commentary:
Quote:

Mother, Jugs and Feed: We know what you're thinking. You think we're gonna eviscerate Britney Spears for venturing out of her Malibu mansion sporting togs so tragic they positively scream, "I'm procreatin' with Kevin Federline, y'all!" But we know that's what Brit-Brit wants us to do. Come on, did she really think we'd fall for the old, "If I squeeze into Sean Preston's Garanimal short-pants and a stained, strained shirt I bought long before I started birthing babies, they'll tear me apart and I'll get the public sympathy that I totally should have had when I turned on the waterworks for Matt Lauer" ploy? Yeah, right. We're well aware no good can come from picking on the Starbucks-craving pop starlet while she's so heavy with the spawn of K. Fed. Instead, we'll foil Britney's masterful PR play by accentuating the positive, pointing out that her brunette 'do seems less disheveled than usual, her ubiquitous white wedge sandals are almost dirt-free, and her Frappuccino looks really yummy.

 @ that photo

I am surprised none of you posted how Britney revealed that baby #2 was not planned.

33girl 08-18-2006 01:15 PM

Thanks Jess - I was feeling ugly today, but compared to that I'm Miss Freaking America.

To me, that just doesn't seem like a big deal...they are married...lots of married people have unplanned pregnancies. If no one knew they were dating and she showed up pregnant...that's a story. But to me #2 is not a story.

True not a big deal but I imagine one day baby #2 might read that and cry. :p

My mom waited till I was an adult to tell me that I wasn't planned. I felt like shit for a week.

tunatartare 08-18-2006 02:30 PM

I always assumed that I was an accident because when I was little my mom told me that it was really hard to get condoms in Russia. A couple of months ago I found out that I was planned. True story.

I've known as long as I can remember that I was a surprise. My parents never made a secret of it, and given that my siblings are 10 and 6 years older than me, it's not that hard to figure out anyway.

Never bothered me in the least. I knew they were glad I was here, planned or not, and that was all that mattered.

I can relate. Except for the fact of knowing that I was a big pain in the ass. I was a month late, I had the cord wrapped around my neck, and I should have died. Lol now try thinking about all that when you're feeling like giving up on life!

Britney Spears gave birth to her second son early Tuesday morning, according to the National Enquirer and US Weekly. The 6-pound, 11-ounce baby reportedly made his debut just before 2 a.m. in a Los Angeles area hospital. MTV.com also reported the birth, citing a source close to the family who refused to say whether it was a boy or a girl.
A representative for Spears dismissed the reports, telling MTV.com they were "speculation."

The baby's arrival came two days short of the first birthday of Spears and husband Kevin Federline's first son, Sean Preston. Rumors were swirling around celebrity blog sites that Spears planned to have the birth induced on Thursday so that the siblings could share the same birthday.

According to the Enquirer report, Spears' mother Lynn and sister Jamie Lynn, along with Federline, were present at the birth.
Federline also has two children from a previous relationship with actress Shar Jackson — a 4-year-old daughter named Kori and a 2-year-son, Kaleb.

Something tells me that they're not going to stop until Brit gets a girl. You know, someone to pass the old schoolgirl uniform on to.

LMAO.

adpiucf 09-13-2006 12:02 PM

I was watching a THS special about them on E! In an interview, Britney talked about her audition with Jive Records when she was a teen and talked about how nervous she was having to sing "A Cappell-O"

LeslieAGD 09-16-2006 04:13 PM

Looks like they have named the baby Sutton Pierce.
UGH...how awful for that poor kid!

Not baby related... but....

K-Fed tells Britney NO MALE BACKUP DANCERS in future videos!!

http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ad.php?t=81532

Kevin Federline knows all about Britney Spears’ history with hunky back-up dancers: K-Fed reportedly is forbidding his wife from using male dancers in her new video.

Spears hired Matt Felker, one of the sexy guys from her “Toxic” video, to appear in her new video, according to In Touch Weekly, which reports that her hubby “insisted that Britney fire Matt and all of the other male dancers she’d hired and replace them with females.”

Federline — who was, of course, once a back-up dancer for Spears — is said to be “surprisingly insecure and secretly terrified” that Spears will dump him if her career takes off again.

...

Oh yea he also said he doesn't care if she loses all of the baby weight

Taualumna 10-16-2006 12:18 AM

Kevin needs to get a job.

Oh Lord...my first thought when I saw this thread bumped is that they were up to #3....

And KEVIN forbidding BRIT to do anything is a laugh...sorry hun, she's the one bringing home the bacon...and frying it too...

PS...t*p...any reason why there's a link to the ADPi ebay thread in your post???:p ;) ;)

texas*princess 10-17-2006 11:37 PM

lol I'm such a nerd...

here's a link to the first story:
http://www.insideeonline.com/news/go...p_dancers.html

First off, that's messed up that he can fly off to Vegas with his buddies and party it up with girls there whenever he wants, but she can't have any male backup dancers...

Britney and K-Fed are #1 on CPS' Speed Dial.

Your constant defending of Britney got old three years ago. SRSLY.

AlphaFrog 10-18-2006 07:31 AM

Did anyone catch KFed on RAW? (My husband MUST WATCH RAW WEEKLY...)

Anyway...

He made a huge ass of himself (big surprise:rolleyes: ) and then got FUed by John Cena...which was the best thing I've seen on TV in a LONG time.

UKDaisy 10-19-2006 12:39 AM

I'm sorry, have I defended Britney lately? Or have I posted on this thread before?

Yes I have posted on other threads......but not in a long time. So just b/c I said that's a rumor does not call for you to be hateful to me. Sorry, that got old three years ago.

He was Johnny Nitro & Melina's "A-list celebrity guest".

John Cena told KFed that if it wasn't for him, Cena would be "Spearing Britney", and then he FUed him - which means he picked KFed up on his shoulders and then body-slammed him (God help me that I'm actually learning the names of wrestling moves).

If only the body slams were real.

I used to watch wrestling everytime it was on when I was younger....and then when they comined the WWF and WCW, that all went downhill for me :(
