In defense of my fellow GCers who have posted here on my thread, no one has bothered me..not the least. All I see here are fellow GCers taking fun guesses at where my AI home will soon hopefully be.
I just know that I personally am not the most patient person in the world, and every little hint is well welcomed. From reading other threads and reading other GCers reactions as well as my personal reactions, the addictiveness of reading someone's story then finding out where they found their home and how happy they are can be just that, addictive!
I do not necessarily "feel bad" i.e. I don't lose sleep over it. The only reason I say "feel bad" is because here I started this thread "teasing" readers with how I found my home, prematurely, when an official yes vote has not come down from headquarters yet. If it is anyone who should be at fault, it is me since I do not even have an official ok yet. I should have started this thread when I was 100% sure.

Being discreet is extremely important during the AI process, so everyone please back off, calm down, relax and if necessary, brew yourselves some herbal tea. When there is news, I am sure that all will be revealed.

Did anyone read my reply?!?! **no one is bothering me** While I cannot speak for other threads, no one is bothering me (the hopeful AI). They are just guessing which GLO I hopefully will be joining. No one has pressured me or even pmed me ever about wanting to know! If someone was doing so, I would personally tell them over a PM to please back down until more news was received.
If another potential AI is being bothered, maybe they should post something on their thread or deal with it in a discreet manner over the pm system. I just do not want trouble ("drama") started here, because there is nothing to start trouble over. If people are unhappy with the way some other GCers act towards AI hopefuls, please consider starting a new thread about it under the AI Forum or dealing with it privately on the pm system.

Yes...we got that.

However, other potential AI's might be inclined to prematurely "reveal" their situation and this is NOT a good idea.

Basically, I tell people to keep quiet until they have a firm initation date or until they have become initiated. As someone who has AI'd herself and given advice to many women who have successfully AI'd (including several where the situation was looking dire), I know of what I speak.

I know that, thank you. That is why I posted earlier that it was my mistake to start this thread as early as I did. I am human, therefore I make mistakes. I thought the simple fact that I found the absolute best fit for me personally and that I was extremely excited about this and that I was going to be nominated by some amazing women and paperwork had been started was an update I thought other GCers following my story (if there are any) might enjoy! Hopefully other AI hopefuls can learn from my premature announcement when posting their stories. Do as I say, not as I do!:)

I am positive you have given wonderful advice to AI's and I hope lurkers out there would go to some of the fabulous people we have here on GC that could really help them out! Possibly you could start or add to an AI Advice Thread; I think that would be great.

You have posted warm words in my thread so I will return the favor! I don't know if I could have held in the good news either. I hope someday my self to have a guessing thread!!! I hope everything works out for you. I can't imagine the waiting game. I too am not the most patient person (which probably isn't the best thing since I'm a teacher).

For some reason I think DG. I'm not sure why, just something in me says that. (Brianna is shrugging her shoulders). As much as I would LOVE it to be ADPi, I just don't think it is. :)

I know waiting sucks. Just keep posting here and chatting with us :D (not about AI though if you want) and we'll keep your mind off waiting. :D

Sorry for the delay! I talked to my sponsor yesterday and I was told that after a brief glitch (it had to do with getting in touch with people who needed to sign my nomination) that my nomination should be signed and such on Thursday and that she may know more on Friday!:D

I got an email from my sponsor saying that the area alum coordinator had my application and it would be forwarded to the National Council this week! Then I recieved an email from the area alum coordinator wanting to talk to me about the GLO and such! Now if only I could get my voice back.....:p

Clues please.

Until I get official word from NC, the clues I have already posted will have to do (I'm a lil supersticious) The clues I gave were that It had between 4 and 12 chapters in Ohio:) I promise when I get official word, I will come here and I will start posting more clues to help narrow it down.

Most of the clues I could give without starting the big clues are geographical ones..and unless you are familiar with Ohio geography...not much use:p

lol you can guess now...I have a clue out there..lol Ok...the geographical clue..most chapters of this GLO are in Northern Ohio colleges and universities (above Interstate 70) while I am in Southern Ohio (below of Interstate 70)..see..I told you that was a hard one unless you are familiar with Ohio geography/Ohio colleges/universities..haha

I'm sorry, MJo19. I've definitely already gone crazy, so I cannot answer your question:p Just kidding! My advice is to stay away from the computer and telephone. When I'm waiting for any kind of news (AI or otherwise), I tend to check my e-mail obsessively and pick up the phone just to make sure the dial tone is still working. It's like the first time a boy says he'll call you!!!
