Having said that, don't bother trying to defend your position here. I'm relatively new here and even I know that you'll get nowhere. Of course, should you decide to try anyway, the flaming that will ensue will be fun to watch. |

I really am not that bitter, and getting laid by some greek girl is not the much of a rigorous task or accomplishment. The MTV show also brought to light what is going on in the greeks. And, that article I posted is from the reporters personal experience, which is factual. Their are hundreds just like it on the internet. At least faternties will admit that they behave like this, all I want is just a confession that these things take place. Its not that big of a deal, considering we are all young anyway, because it is no secret to what goes on.

Sorority Life was filmed years ago, and the so called "literary work" (most of us call it fiction) was written years ago also. Why are you just now catching on?
And again, if you want commentary, DO A SEARCH |

GC veterans, I'd like to take a stab at this if you don't mind...

Seriously, you're in the wrong place for this. Please go home. Or better yet, like Dani suggested, to class; you could stand to learn a few things. |

Its not that big of a deal, don't get too mad. However, personal experience is factual when the person dresses up like a sorority girl and interacts with them on a day to day basis. And, logically, why would she care to lie about any of this and write a book on it. Also, why would a television show depict exactly the kind of behavior I am implying goes on? You can deny the book, but not even satan himself can deny something we all watched on T.V. The women even siad she would not her own daughter joining one. I admit to be in need of some more schooling, but for gods sake why can't a girl just state something that she knows is true in her heart. This stuff goes on in fraternities (might need spell check), and people don't seem have to have a problem admiting to what goes on. Eveyone knows it. Lastly why would 26 sororities block out media, after the airing of the show. That is something to hide. Anyway, I now relize admitting to facts that half of the nation saw on t.v. is beyond my espectation

That's the bad thing about joining a coed GLO...we couldn't do boob ranking, because not everyone could participate. And making out with each other just wouldn't be that scandalous. ;)

Brianna is going to sit back with some popcorn, a Snickers bar and a Dr. Pepper and enjoy the show.
Anyone want some popcorn? I'll share! :D Seriously, this is the best entertainment I've had all day (especially since I'm sitting at work doing Parent-Teacher conferences). This is frickin' hysterical. |

And honestly, the experience that those girls had on Sorority Life or in Pledged is NOTHING like my own personal experience, and I'm sure that most of the women on here would say the same thing. |

You girls are babies for erasing my jokes, they were just jokes. Just like a sorority girl, run and wine and cry to the moderator instead of just taking it lightheartedly

So yesterday I sat back with some popcorn, Snickers bar and a Dr. Pepper, today I shall sit back with some sour cream and onion Pringles, another Snickers bar and a Sprite.

I figured they would be erased, some people cannot be, and will not be comfroted with truth, because the truth is blind to thier beleiving nature.
1. I will not erase anything from this post anymore -LIE 2. "Pledged" is not based on fact though the person who wrote the book interacted with sororities on a day to day basis -LIE 3. Our experience in sororities was totally different from both and the only recorded experiences from random sororities -MTV and Pledged- LIE 4. Sororities are were created and are established for the better of humanity while excluding millions of girls who want to get in them, and accepting people based on looks and money, while also charging people money to have freinds- LIE 5. Sororites truly help women find themselves- J- How is going Katherine K- Good, how are yout Jenny J-are you going to the formal tonight K- Yes, I am taking Brian J- I am so proud of you, you are really becoming a great women K-Thanks jk-giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, giggle, 10 minutes later J- Katherine is such a bitch she is taking Brain to Formal, I really like him and she doesn't care. Nobody like her anyway, she doesen't have any freinds cry, cry, cry ecttttt. (to annonymous) K- Jenny did not get to go with Brian, everyone knew he like dme better. He is in a real cool faternity, and we make a great couple. Who needs Jenny. (to annonymous) LIE< LIE, enough siad 6. Sororities are noble institutions LIE |

Just admit this stuff goes on every day. I live on a college campus and everyday I sit in English Class, or History class, this is similar to what I hear, uhhhh she said this, haaa, yeah, she doesn;t know, OHHH, he is so cute!! This teacher is sooooo funnnyy, giggle. I don't like Auburn, nobody year is that cool. Yes and the guys aren't really very freindly. Yes, we know.
gossip, gossip, tak behind someones back, gossip, talk behind someones back |
Yes, because gossip doesn't happen among everyone, just sorority girls.
How do all those celebrity magazines make money then? |

Its true that everyone gossips a little, but sorority girls are always doing it outlowd where everyone can hear it. Its like they dont even care. I mean have the time they are making a fool out of themselves, and other half people who they are talking about can hear them. Its utterly ridiculous. Even on campus just waking you can hear them gossiping and trying to flirt with every guy the see. Have some dignity, and at least gossip and act immature away from other people
|
reply
Has it eve occure to girls (sorority) that it is not right to gossip, and take bad about people. Yes, people don't like this. Thats why it says in the bible women should take care of the home, because at work they become "gossipers and busy bodies, saying and doing things they ought not."
