20 bucks Moana and Susan put out on the overnight date and Sarah Tenn doesnt take the fantasy suite offer....

hottytoddy 02-08-2006 12:21 AM

I'll be surprised if Sarah spends the night with him. I doubt she will.

Spoiler alert...

If you didn't watch last night, don't read below. I'm putting it in silver so it's harder for people to read. Just highlight the text and it will be clearer...

I'm so glad that he picked Sarah as one of the girls last night! I liked Susan in the beginning but, the more I saw of her, the more I began to think that she was only there to further her acting career. I think Travis made the right decision in sending her home.

valkyrie 02-14-2006 12:54 PM

I still like Moana. She's the only one who acts relatively normal with him. Susan and Sarah both come off like salespeople -- trying to use words to convince him that they're the right person for him. Relationships don't work like that, period.

I don't know... Moana does act normal around him, but she just seems unstable to me. All that crying on the video a couple of weeks ago, and the crying that she did before that. It freaked me out. I think she's playing him, although her reasons aren't as obvious as Susan's seemed to be. I think maybe it's just a competition for her and she wants to win regardless of whether she's into the guy or not.

I like Sarah. She just seems girl-next-door to me. I think the hesitancy she feels is real... she really doesn't want to jump into something until she knows that they're both on the same page. And she's not really aggressive, which I like, too.

adpiucf 02-14-2006 05:56 PM

I don't think he will end up marrying either of the final two... he doesn't seem to be really into either of them.

NutBrnHair 02-14-2006 06:01 PM

I love it when the women say to the Bachelor, "...I'm not in this as a competition..."

Of COURSE it's a competition! It's a "reality" show for pete's sake!

bluefish81 02-14-2006 06:51 PM

I think Moana is going to win. He seems to connect a lot better with her than he does with Sarah. Sarah's nice and all, but I feel like he's too forced with her.

And I agree with NutBrnHair this is a competition, pretty sure that's what they all signed on for in the beginning - trying to 'win' the Bachelor.

I think ABC is "highlighting" Moana too much, thus she will not win. This is how it has happened in the past. I see Susan winning, but a marriage never happening. Thus, another failure in The Bachelor series.

Travis eliminated Susan on Monday.
It's between Moana and Sarah-Tennessee right now.

I think he will pick Sarah. Like you said, ABC has been highlighting the connection between Travis and Moana too much! Past seasons have always "highlighted" the losing girl, to throw viewers off track. They haven't really showed much of Travis and Sarah's romantic relationship, more of a friendship. It's all in the editing though. For all we know it really did get hot and heavy between them.
Besides, if he picks Sarah, then they can just date and not have to worry about who is going to move where for their relationship to continue since they already live half a mile from each other. Not that I would ever have gone on the Bachelor, but geographic compatibility used to play a part in who I dated (before I got married.)

CutiePie2000 02-14-2006 10:56 PM

I think he will pick crazy Moana also.

AGDee 02-14-2006 10:59 PM

I am simply repeating my original statement. I think he and Sarah have more of the stuff that lasts over time, so he'd pick her IF he was smart.

But how often do they do the smart thing?

hottytoddy 02-15-2006 02:59 AM

I thi8nk he sees in Sarah a lot of the qualities that he sees in himself...values, character, knowing who you are. I think it seems Moana is still doing some soul searching with herself. Sarah does seem more stable. Not to mention she's the only classy one on the show IMO. And the rest of you are right they've been showcasing he and Moana a lot! I definitely think Sarah is going to win.

Thanks for correcting me. I don't think he will ask her to marry him. I see them, like you said, dating and getting to know each other better. Which should be easier since they live close to each other.

adpiucf 02-15-2006 04:09 PM

In an interview with the host, he made some kind of comment about how crazy it being that the show went all the way over to Europe to have "this kind of ending."

That would point to him choosing Sarah-- she's practically his neighbor in TN and they had to go all the way to Europe to meet.

I think Moana, whether she really is this way or not, is being portrayed as emotionally unstable or immature, and Travis is the complete opposite-- he seems settled. So does Sarah. But I don't sense any romantic sparks between Travis and Sarah-- I just think it's not going to end in an engagement.

Xylochick216 02-16-2006 10:35 AM

I doubt they'll get engaged, but I hope he picks Sarah. She's been my pick since day 1. Moana, as others have said, seems unstable to me. The excessive crying and her saying exactly what he wants to hear bugs me. I honestly think they'd have fun for a bit, but they probably wouldn't get along in the long run. I think things with Sarah have been slow, but who says you have to rush a relationship? I was friends with my husband for months before we began dating.

adpiucf 02-21-2006 01:26 PM

Did anyone watch The Women Tell All last night?

ZTABullwinkle 02-21-2006 02:12 PM

I knew I missed something!!!! Darn it. My boyfriend was watching The Longest Yard, and I didn't have the heart to ask him if we could watch. Someone PLEASE PLEAS update me also!

CutiePie2000 02-21-2006 03:07 PM

Ally G (reproduction girl) was a no-show, therefore, you really did not miss anything.

adpiucf 02-21-2006 04:41 PM

Yeah, it was fairly tame. One of the Jennifers seemed like she had a problem with everyone. A lot of people picked on Susan, and others told them to leave her be.

I thought Dr. Travis showed very good taste when he told them not to knock on Ally G or Susan. And the women appeared to have changed their feelings on Moana, after seeing her on the show with Travis -- that maybe their attraction is genuine.

Guess we'll find out next week on a "very special 2 hour Bachelor on ABC!"

valkyrie 02-21-2006 06:13 PM

Moana is myspace friends with fake me. I dig her.

epsilon99 02-22-2006 05:53 PM

Travis is an idiot if he doesn't pick Sarah. He'll have a lifetime of misery with Moana!

Was there an explanation as to where she was?? Or just missing? (Probably too embarrassed. Knew she would hear too much about it and wanted to save what little is left of her dignity.)

TNPhiMu 02-22-2006 06:53 PM

Two things from me this time:

#1, I was in the Vanderbilt ER this weekend for my arm and I was VERY upset that I didn't get to see the Bachelor. I talked to a guy in radiology, but he didn't know any info(hehe... I didn't ask, promise, he offered that he didn't know anything!).

Also, word has it that Travis and Sarah have been seen numerous times working out together at a YMCA in Nashville and have been seen in Jackson, TN together(Sarah's real hometown)... so even if he doesn't "pick" her on the show, they've probably still got a future together =)

I hope that this is an indication that he picked her, although I could see them being friends after the show even if it didn't work out romantically between them. They seem to be really comfortable with each other.

ETA: As a proud Southern girl, I love the lemons quote in your sig. :)

Chris Harrison just said that she "declined" to appear on the show. I would think it is a combination of saving her dignity, not to mention that (to quote her) it would cost her "BIG BUCKS, BIG DOLLARS" to leave her medical practice (she's a doctor, yes?) to be on the show.

But I have to say, even though I thought Travis was a bit of a weenie, he handled the Ally G. thing tactfully and just said something like "While Ally shocked me, I think it's best if we let her move on with her life" or something like that.

Elsa-town77 02-27-2006 12:04 AM

I think he's a classy guy. I'm so glad others at GC watch it. I really think that Moana will lose and he'll chose the Tennessee Sarah but we'll see. He is SO HOT.

AGDee 02-27-2006 05:52 PM

*bump*

Just cuz it's tonight.. My opinion hasn't changed. He *should* go for Sarah but if he's stupid, he'll pick Moana.

Agreed. I guess we'll find out if he's stupid.

KDAngel 02-27-2006 07:41 PM

Moana's totally grown on me though. Don't get me wrong, I still like Sarah more, but more and more I like Moana as well. :)

Xylochick216 02-27-2006 08:01 PM

Something about Moana just irks me. She's become overly emotional lately. She seems like the type who would get upset at the fact that he works long hours and wouldn't be there to pay attention to her all the time. She has a sort of needy vibe when it comes to attention.

I've been rooting for Sarah since day one, and I hope he picks her. They seem like they're both low-key and have a lot in common.

Moana has grown on me too. But I still like Sarah and want her to win.

Virtual Violet 02-27-2006 11:40 PM

((Almost at the finale))

I thought Sarah handled Travis' family like a champ. Moana messed up when she couldn't answer why she's connected to Travis when Dad asked her the question point blank!

I think its Sarah. Travis seems like the sensible, grounded type that is best suited with her.

Plus where would be the happy ending...that he went halfway around the world to meet his soulmate...who turned out to be his neighbor in TN.

We'll see in a few minutes;)

KDAngel 02-27-2006 11:45 PM

YEEESSSSSS!!!! :D :D :D

ZTAMich 02-27-2006 11:47 PM

"The good girl always wins. Guys like that don't marry girls like me"

Well said honey, well said.

hottytoddy 02-27-2006 11:57 PM

Yea!!!!!

jillybean 02-27-2006 11:59 PM

i'm glad he picked sara, but if she says "travis, you are so perfect for me, we are so perfect together" one more time i might throw up

moana did grow on me. she is a deep, soulful lady and you could really feel her heartbrokenness in her limo scene.

KSUViolet06 02-28-2006 12:02 AM

He chose exactly who I thought he would. He'll probably be better off with her than Moana.

Yeah. I really felt bad for Moana. It actually made me shed a tear to see how heartbroken she was. But I am excited for Sarah.

So I'm guessing he picked your friend?

So can you hook me up with your little sis? I think she is actually hotter than her sis.
