Sorry, my bad. I forgot that you aren't quite as old as me. Shouldn't you be doing some kind of work right now. What kind of employer would let their employees sit around and surf the net all day!?

jdgirl 12-14-2001 10:19 AM

Long haired Mike's roomate was pretty hot! Where did we paint that ghosty anyway? I also have the incriminating TP pictures, proof that we did not do it alone. Get back to work!

flowerchild 12-14-2001 10:33 AM

definitely not mine, but it's the best thing i can think of to do to make myself look busy.

flowerchild 12-14-2001 10:35 AM

i can't believe you remembered long hair's name. i was trying to think of it. those roll ups they gave us were pretty good. we painted the ghost right out front of the theta xi house that was by the tri sig house. i believe it was right after we tp'd shaft's car.

littlelisa 12-14-2001 10:43 AM

I remember the tp incident!!mike was trying to figure out who did that for months!! That was so funny!!
Lisa

flowerchild 12-14-2001 10:48 AM

i don't think that jerk ever knew who did it, but i remember hearing that he was mad and was vowing revenge. we should have baked him some brownies to make up for what we did:p

jdgirl 12-14-2001 01:01 PM

The ruit roll up was stale, but it's the thought that counts. We did pretty good that night considering it wasn't Halloween and we weren't little kids. I think the aliens were just messing with us that night, they weren't going to beam us up, they just liked watching us dive for cover. They got a kick out of it.

jdgirl 12-14-2001 01:02 PM

ME TOO!

littlelisa 12-14-2001 02:08 PM

I'm at work and not working really either and getting paid for it!! janel, where do u work?

jdgirl 12-14-2001 02:54 PM

Lisa,
I'm in the navy. Luckily I get out in a few months so I can return to living a normal life and a normal vocabulary. The real world, where a head is something on you shoulders and not something you do your business in and when I clean my house I sweep and mop the floor, I don't swab the deck.

Janel

littlelisa 12-14-2001 03:40 PM

janel
for some reason I was thinking that you were out of the navy now!! Is your husband in the navy too??? I think me and melissa need to take a road trip to come see you in florida!!:D

jdgirl 12-15-2001 12:02 AM

Lisa,
Unfortunately I'm still in but not for long! My husband is also in the navy. We met in Sicily. Who knew I would go halfway around the world to meet the man of my dreams. Funny how you find that perfect person when you're not looking them. If you ever come to Jacksonville, FL look me up!

Pgh Alumni

Hi Lisa. It is me, Amy (Smith) Weston. Didn't know that you were the nat'l alum chair. Cool.

Is there an active chapter in the Pgh area??? I would be interested in getting involved.

AHHH ... Clarion Memories

Hey Everyone. Amy (Smith) Weston here ... Gamma Gamma pledge classs '93. YIKES! That was a long time ago...

What is new in Clarion??? What is new with all the alumni?

I was just thinking of Clarion the other day. Remember The Roost and the horse-stall-like bathrooms? How about Thursday night mixers with assanine themes like frozen turkey bowling (we should of just got right to the point and made all mixers have a drinking game theme).

Anyone what to share some of their favorite memories from back in the day??? Can anyone remember anything??? Anyone???

jdgirl 12-20-2001 03:06 PM

I actually had fun with frozen turkey bowling. It took the monotony out of just getting drunk. You know it was a good thing the house was around the corner from the roost because some nights I wasn't drunk enough to use those nasty toilets while being forced to drip dry because they never had TP!

littlelisa 12-20-2001 03:22 PM

hi Amy!!!how are you?? ya know, i just cant remember the frozen turkey bowling!! am i that old and forgetful, or was that before my time???? I always liked the eat me lay me mixers ! remember when we had a bondage mixer with sig tau gamma? that was crazy!!

littlelisa 12-20-2001 03:36 PM

Hi Amy,

Thanks for the reply!!At this time there is no active chapter in the pgh area, however I had an interested sister that wanted to form one but she has decided that she doesnt have the time so I am on my own. I am also working on a group that is forming in the new jersey area so I am going to be pretty busy! I was still thinking of forming one in pgh,but I would need some help. if you would be interested in helping that would be wonderful or if you know of other interested sisters in the area.. Let me know!! I hope all is well with you!!

LITP,

Lisa

flowerchild 12-20-2001 05:32 PM

oh, the roost. so many fond memories of that place. especially mixing up some grain before we walked over there and having to stuff my pockets full of toilet paper when we got there. i think the frozen turkey bowling was before our time lisa. i don't seem to remember it either. i think one our best mixers was eat me lay me with sigma pi. (literally).:p hey janel, remember drinking moldy beer at the UI and we all got sick? hi amy! everytime i hear the tim mcgraw song i like it, i love it... i can still see that picture of the guy with the cowboy hat on that you had hanging up outside your door at the house.

flowerchild 12-20-2001 05:36 PM

how could i forget to mention....eddie dogs! i still get cravings for those every now and then. i have a picture of dehart puking in the downstairs bathroom after a night at the loomis and about 6 eddie dogs!:o

GG93 12-20-2001 05:52 PM

Frozen Turkeys

Frozen Turkey bowling was a theme for a few mixers. Must've been before your time. The incident that stands out most in my mind was at Sigma Chi. Chandler (do you remember him) ended up getting bowled down the alley ... naked. Now that I think about it, why did the Sigma Chi's always end up getting naked at our mixers???

One of my favs was with TKE after they were kicked off campus. Went to their unofficial house down past the Roost. Walked or should I say slid there in an ice storm. Was anyone around for that one??? Can't remember the theme, many sisters didn't even go. We were mixing drinks and having a pretty sweet time though.

:D

GG93 12-20-2001 06:04 PM

eddie dogs

I am proud to say that I never once ate an Eddie dog. OR a 7-11 death dog. Just could never do it.

GG93 12-20-2001 06:07 PM

I would be interested in helping. It hink it would be fun to be part of an alumnni chapter. I can't speak for anyone else, but I will mention it to the alum that I talk to in the area to see if they want to pitch in too. Let me know what I can do.:D

littlelisa 12-20-2001 06:36 PM

Thanks amy! I was able to get a list from the clarion alum chair of alumnae in the area , but I think some of the addresses are old maybe u can help me out with that. I am also trying to get a list from nationals of other sisters in the area. Here is my e-mail address if you wanna send me an e-mail :lmlang@peoplepc.com

Eddie dogs ruled! I only know this because it took that old man so long to make them that I was sober by the time I ate it. The taco dogs were the best! Where is Eddie now anyway? For the sake of the new generation I certainly hope they aren't still serving moldy beer at the UI, sure it packed a killer buz but it wasn't worth the sick hangover feeling that lasted for three days.
Beer rules!

AngelPhiSig 12-21-2001 01:27 AM

Eddie is still working at Eddie Dogs... still slow... and well I dont know much about the moldy beer at the UI.... Im not a big beer drinker... I get a hangover from it, but liquor? Yep I wake up all nice and cheery :)

jdgirl 12-21-2001 08:10 AM

You're not missing anything if you haven't had the moldy beer, stick with the hard stuff. As a matter of fact, Jack Daniels was a good friend of mine. We haven't gotten together in a while but maybe I'll call him up this weekend and see if we can hang out. We've had some good times and some pretty ugly times together but I know he'll never never lie, steal my boyfriend, or acuse me of being "out of contol". He doesn't say that my jeans make my but look big, that I'm having a bad hair day, or tell me to shut up if I complain about those things. Cheers to Jack, one of the few men on earth that a girl can really trust!

flowerchild 12-21-2001 09:10 AM

eddie was threatening to close back in 96, 97, 98. if he hasn't closed by now, he probably won't til he dies. i think he loves having tons of drunk people coming in wanting his dogs. one thing i do miss about being is school is not being able to go on spring break. panama city ruled! janel, remember bob? i wonder if renee ever fully recovered from her night of watching real porn. i still have a picture of you with dwight (the guy who kept coming into our room naked) and he had a pair of those glow in the dark vampire teeth on.

flowerchild 12-21-2001 09:31 AM

merry christmas and happy new year everyone! i get to leave work at 11 today. got the boyfriend's work christmas party which should be fun, especially considering we got in an argument before we both left for work this morning. men can be such babies sometimes. you're new kitty is very cute janel! i remember the halloween mixer we had with theta chi. me, jen, and janel all got that spray string and sprayed it all over the place. then the nut and bolt mixer we had with sigma chi, i ended up being screwed by this guy with hickeys all over his neck and i think he wanted me to give him some more:eek:

jdgirl 12-21-2001 11:13 AM

I remember Dwight! I have the picture you took of him taking a dump. I guess there's nothing like waking up to find a naked man giggling in your room on spring break. Renee will probably never recover but I can't figure out why she didn't say something to the porn stars like, "hey, I'm here and I don't want to listen to you have sex" They could have at least made the extra effort to throw their condoms another few inches to hit the trash can instead of leaving them all over the floor. I guess it's all good as long as someone had a good time that night. I wonder what happened to Bob? Have a super groovey Merry Christmas and a far out New Year!

Janel

flowerchild 12-21-2001 11:19 AM

as i recall, they left the condom on my side of the bed! that's where they did the deed too cuz i saw them laying there when me and one of the neighbors finally got in! i got dwight taking a dump too. remember the t-shirt guy with the happy stuff that he was supposed to share but didn't. well getting ready to leave work! hope you have a beery christmas and a jack d new year!

Hi Everyone!!!

Just wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas!!!!

:D

jdgirl 12-24-2001 08:14 PM

Merry Crhistmas to everyone!

P.S.
I only live about 5 hours from Panama City.

flowerchild 12-27-2001 09:45 AM

Hi!

How was Christmas for everyone? Mine was great. I should be on vacation still, but I had to come in this morning to get some stuff around for invoicing next week:( but i'll be leaving at 11 so that's not too bad, except for this stupid snow.

Janel,
Since you live close to Panama, have you visited there to relive some old memories? It would be great if we could all get together to go there for a week or 10. I'll never forget you lighting up a cigar one morning when you came back to the hotel!

jdgirl 12-27-2001 11:16 AM

Santa was good to me as always. I haven't been back to Panama City but my cigar smoking days are over. There's no need to make a big deal over something that happens quite frequently these days.:D Have a Happy New Year!

Janel

GG93 12-27-2001 02:50 PM

Janel - Glad to hear that Santa treated you right. I hope everyone else had a good Christmas too.

Never heard the cigar story before. I'm sure there were a lot of other stories I missed from that trip since I was old and graduated by the time you went on that one. At least it was fun.

Hey - remember Valentine the drug dealer from the Bahamas spring break trip? We were so wasted - laughed right in his face.

GG93 12-27-2001 03:06 PM

Gamma Gamma Alumni Events?

Hey, just wanted to ask if there are any gamma gamma alumni events planned for the coming year?

Last year there was a picnic in the spring which I attended along with a few other alum. I know a few other sisters that wanted to come but had date conflicts. If everyone knew far enough in advance, there is a chance that the turn out would be good.

Gamma Gamma alum ... would you attend if the chapter were to have something (Janel - any chance you could make it in from Florida)?

Active sisters ... any chance you'd have something?

Last year was fun - even if I did feel old. We were asked to fill out a name tag with our pledge class year. An active sister saw "93" and said, "Wow, 93, I was like 12." Made me feel a little ancient. But that's okay.

:o

jdgirl 12-28-2001 10:11 AM

Amy,
I was pretty wasted but I have some memory of the drug dealer. Besides, where else in the world can you get locked in a bar during a gang fight while being seduced by "Hans" and "Frans"?! I think they wanted to pump us up or something. Have a Happy New Year and beware of the Bahama Mammas!

Janel
