We here in Chicago are excited that the White Sox won in a sweep!! Well, maybe not all, some Cubs fans aren't. I root for both the White Sox and Cubs...I know I know, my husband says you can't root for both, but I do. Now we will see on Sunday if the Angels can pull it out, or we will have to go to a game 5.

I also predict that the Cards will win over San Diego and Atlanta will win over Hoston.

Exactly. On the surface it seems like a good matchup with the second and third biggest tv markets playing each other but both teams play second fiddle in their own town.

See, I'm a loyal Dodgers fan but seeing as how I love to watch baseball playoff games, I have to at least look forward to a team I can stand winning. I'm a NL loyalist but I did root for the Angels just b/c I have to loathe the Yankees. It's been inbred in me from birth that Dodger fans are to hate Yankee fans on principle so there you go.
Now, I'll just watch the playoffs & enjoy them & hope for a NL win...hopefully Astros.

I went to a Dodgers/Yankee game last season & the weird thing I noticed was the heightened security & the fights breaking out between fans left & right. Those people that sit in the bleachers drink way too much & start picking fights w/anyone wearing the opposing teams jersey. The fiance & I got sprayed w/soda & food b/c there were Yankee fans sitting in the seats next to us while a couple of drunken yahoos above us that decided to throw their stuff at them but nailed us too in the process. There's nothing like peeling garlic & fries out of long curly hair to really piss a woman off.

This is what I think is going to happening too and when it does I will laugh at all my friends that are Cubs fans that hate the White Sox. When you are a Cubs fan, whats worse then rooting for the White Sox...rooting for the Cardinals!!

Will it be that easy for you to buy tickets? I'm just curious because it was damn near impossible to buy tickets last year unless you wanted to pay thousands of dollars. Or had connections. (Which is what I worked to get a ticket to game 6, which there wasn't..)

The WHite Sox did not cheat. It was a cheap win but they did not cheat. AJ did what he did because he was desperate. Shit, I would have done the same thing.
