I don't know WHY Logan was being such an ass last night, but boy was he ever!!! Damn.

But, I did agree with him telling Rory not to blame him if she is unhappy with the way things are for her right now. He didn't want her to drop out of school.

I definitely think she's about ready to go back.

I liked how she stood up to her grandmother.... it's about time.

I am looking forward to next week. I am ready for Loralei and Rory to "make up" I am tired of this stupid "fight".

I don't like Jess. And, I don't want them to get back together. Unless it is to show Rory what a baby she has been.

Also, She can't act like she shouldn't have rules, 'cause she is 21. I mean she isn't paying the mortgage on that mansion.

Lastly, I still like Logan. Yes, he was an ass last night but what would your "man" have done if you were about to go out with an old "flame" while he was out of town. My husband would have blown a gasket (when we were dating i mean)

I LOVE GILMORE GIRLS. It is about to come on USA network (?) the old shows I mean. I got to get off work early so I am going to use my time wisely and lay on the couch and veg to the Gilmore girls.

Was it just me or did Jess look super hot last night? I swear, that guy is more attractive when he's not brooding all the time. That Alexis Bledel's one lucky bitch IRL.

Methinks that once Rory gives up the fairytale life, Logan will be out as well. She doesn't *need* a man right now...just make things right with Lorelai!

I never really liked Jess either... that bad boy thing is so old. Especially considering that his character has so much potential; he definately had intellect!! (this is why I could never be a teacher)
I like Logan... to bad his dad is an ass.... Maybe Rory will marry him and take over the company... that would be awesome.

He is quite the cocky asshole. He's not good for Rory...he just represents the world of Emily and Richard -- and Jess was right on when he called her out on it last night.

ETA: I also loved how Lorelai freaked out about Paul Anka. Totally parallels her relationship with Rory. I wonder what'll bring them together next week?

I gotta disagree on that one, I'm sick n tired of Paul Anka and it bothers me that it takes away time from other relationships. The human ones that is.

I'm glad Rory chose Logan over Jess. I mean sure Logan messed up, but I've said it once and I'll say it again- I just totally like them together.

This season seems to be ending kinda weakly though. I hope this next episode is better than the last.

I am so tired of the Luke plotline. She is obviously hurt about his daughter and isnt even introducing her to Lor. I laughed when she got drunk at Lanes wedding.

I think she should explore the Chris relationship again. They will always be right for each other.

Now with the show possibly ending, it will stink. I hate when they end shows in the middle of stuff. Stupid WB....

Logan as cute as he is, isnt for her. She does need to be with Jess. He knows her and cares about her more than anyone. He wont hurt her like Logan does.

He is her real life bf too so they have some good chemistry on the show....

I saw in the news that the show is slated to go one more year. However, the two major writers are bowing out after this season, so I don't know how good the final season is going to be.

Yeah only one more year then. It was such a great show too. I would have liked to see Rory graduate Yale and see what happens. As it is, she is only a soph now so she has 2 more years to go, plus she wasnt in school for a while.

I hope they can pull off a great last year with two great writers gone. I love how the show is and will be sad to see it go.

So her senior year would be this last season.

She dropped out for a semester. so she might still be a junior? They don't really talk about her grade level except when she is graduating or starting school. But it would be good to end the final season with Rory graduating from college.

If she did not take time off, she would be finishing her junior year. She is a year ahead of my daughter.

I think you guys are right and she is a junior - there was an episode this season (the one where Logan sent the coffee cart around with her) where she was saying she was taking tons of extra classes so she could still graduate with her class, but that makes sense with her as a junior too!

I'm guessing it might be... I mean... most shows with people in school end when they are in college or finish college... but they could follow the life of Luke and Loralai and their new kid if they have one. I was watching the commentary on my DVDs and it says Amy Sherman knows what she's going to write for the last line of the series... so it has direction, and I know it won't go off the air before things resolve like some shows have. =) I'll be sad when it's gone though.

The bad thing is Amy and her hubby are done after this season. I mean WB or whatever it will be called can really change it however they want. She has the last episode written, but they dont have to use it if they want something else since they will be gone.

Itll be sad to see it go off air, but I just hope next season is good.

They're on the CW list, so I'm thinking they'll get 1 season over there. We'll see though... the list of the renewed/bubble/cancelled shows comes out in just another month or so....

Totally random but I caught the pilot episode on ABC Family yesterday and it was so weird seeing everyone so young! I never realized that Loralai named Rori after herself and thus Rori was short for Loralai...

I'm still standing by the fact that I like Logan and Rory together. I mean, relationships aren't perfect but they just seem right to me.

I can't believe Lorelei went back to Chris. Or maybe I can. I knew Luke wasn't going to marry her. Stupid guy. Maybe that's where Lorelei belongs, with Chris that is...

PLEASE RECAP! I was flying over the Atlantic ocean while the season finale was going on.

I was flipping channels half the time so I may have missed some things. But this is the gist of it:

Rory confronted Logan's dad about sending him to London because he doesn't like her. Dad told her, basically, to get over herself and that he's sending Logan away so he'll grow up and stop partying which is the same thing his own dad did to him. Rory seemed to understand and didn't argue. Later she threw Logan a London themed party and he begged her to ask him to stay but she wouldn't. He left the next day and she gets to stay at the apartment rent free for the year because he's already paid for it.

Lorelai went to the Friday dinner and Emily had invited Chris and her college roommate's daughter, Carolyn, too. It was a set up to get Chris and Carolyn, a therapist, together. Chris begs Lorelai for help to get out of it but he has to stay for the remainder of the dinner. Afterwards, Lorelai has a therapy session in the backseat of Carolyn's car. Lorelai goes straight to Luke and demands they get eloped because she's sick of waiting and not saying anything. He says that he has to think of his daughter and Lorelai says she's sick of thinking. Lorelai goes straight to Chris and says she "doesn't want to be alone tonight". So no big shock when she wakes up the next day naked in Christopher's bed!


Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Emily and Richard bought Rory her very own astronomy building at Yale!:eek:

I heard Chris will only be in a few episodes so I don't see them going anywhere. I like Chris, always have. He was her high school bf and father to Rory so it would be great if they ended up together.

I also didn't like Logan much, but he's growing on me. I heard she signed on for next season so they should show him. Maybe he will come back for her.

I think it will end with Rory and Lor together alone. I wish they both would find someone and it ends good, but the WB's ending lately blow...

I like Logan and Rory together, too -- I think Luke and Lorelai should break up, not them. I'm sure they'll be back "together" next season -- YAWN.

Did anyone else think that the season finale was really disappointing? The previews for it showed what was going to happen, so there wasn't much left in the way of suspense.

I have it on tivo and watched American Idol, but I did end up seeing some of it when I was bored, I flipped to it and I was glad I didnt watch it all because it stunk.

The commercials did show you everything. Since Chris is only back for a while I wonder what will happen.

I think Logan will be back too. I dont know how they will do that, but he is signed on for next season.

It was a disappointment though..

I havent seen a season finale yet this season that was good.

I like Lorelai and Luke as a couple but they were both SO frustrating this season. And HOW DUMB ARE YOU to go sleep with Christopher... grrrrr. Of course, Luke should have followed her too. Not to elope per se, but at least to talk.

This whole season has been a disappointment. Every preview has made the next episode look soo good and then once you see it, its a total let down. Here's hoping next season will be better...I dont think Luke and Lorelia will get back together.

I really wish Rory would've run out the door and said "Don't Go!" I think that would've been an excellent ending for the season, lol;)

I hate to say it, especially after rooting for Luke for so long, but I really hope She ends up with Chris! Although I seriously doubt it.....
