Sister Havana 10-09-2005 04:11 PM

Hi Bears. Football games are FOUR quarters long. Not three. Way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the fourth this week. http://forums.footballguys.com/forum...t/wallbash.gif http://forums.footballguys.com/forum...t/wallbash.gif http://forums.footballguys.com/forum...t/wallbash.gif

Dear Ashley Lelie,

I love you.

Valkyrie

XOXOXO

ZTAngel 10-09-2005 05:31 PM

Dolphins. :(
I would love to see them, just once in my lifetime, win the Superbowl.

Well, Brady was out of control today. He was something like 22 for 27, and Dillon had the running game going early.

Also, Daniel Graham's first half touchdown was pretty sick.

Hey. It happened in my lifetime. That's enough.

They also had an undefeated season, back in the day. Wonder if anyone will ever do that again?

ZTABullwinkle 10-09-2005 11:26 PM

Gotta love those Dallas Cowboys! Kicked some Philly butt. What a great game!

That too.

OK, so the Broncos lost everywhere but the final score.

TristanDSP 10-10-2005 11:28 AM

Wow, if Michael Vick would have started, that would have been a Patriots L for sure....damn lucky...I guess.

Yeah, that game was ugly. I'm trying to cut them some slack because they can't be used to playing in the rain like that, but still -- I thought my boy Ashley was going to actually catch the ball more than twice -- and what was up with the defense giving that QB dude enough time to write a novel every time he had the ball?

Rollergirl2001 10-10-2005 11:29 PM

The Eagles got deep fried! As a Cowboys fan, there are two options for Eagles: original or extra crispy.

That's great - I wasn't able to watch that game, but I was talking more about last week's game between SD and NE :) (I just have to razz Stan since I know he's a NE fan ;))

They mentioned this on MNF, Around The Horn AND PTI:

Anyone notice the huge abundance of Steelers fans at QUALCOMM last night with the terrible towels?

Is there any other city where the fans of the visiting team often are at the same number (if not outnumber) the fans of the home team? Phoenix comes to mind, but I dunno.

SD fans have gotten better about it since the resurgence of the Bolts, but you can't argue with fact.

Agreed ;)

I was driving to school in Mission Valley and was near one of the trolley stations by Mission Valley mall - I couldn't believe the abundance of Steelers jerseys around! (And to think I thought it funny my freshman year high school English teacher was a Steeler fan - the year that SD went to the Super Bowl :D)

DeltAlum 10-13-2005 10:38 AM

Should be a telling week for Denver vs. the Pats.

TristanDSP 10-16-2005 06:30 PM

Well, looks like the party and the dynasty is slowly ending....

Secondary is horrible..go easy on them Peyton.

tinydancer 10-16-2005 06:59 PM

My Chefs get back on track! One sweeeet td run, Priest Holmes!

DeltAlum 10-16-2005 08:19 PM

Well, Valkyrie, your buddy Ashley did OK today didn't he?

Broncos over Pats.

He wasn't too bad. I didn't play him today (but I did play Bell wooooooo).

I love me some Broncos.

That's because once you live in Pittsburgh, no matter where else you go, you're a Pittsburgher. Period. :)

TristanDSP 10-23-2005 02:24 PM

If TO HAS to score his 100th touchdown, I'm glad it was against Marty Ball...I hope Jeremiah Trotter knocks that shit streak off Drew Bree's face.

blueGBI 10-23-2005 04:59 PM

I had an another heart attack from my Eagles today..

LT got pwned by the Bird's D. It sucks for my fantasy team but I'll take the win.

docetboy 10-23-2005 08:38 PM

Today I confirmed what i've known my entire life.

I.
Hate.
New.
York.

docetboy 10-31-2005 12:46 AM

Denver played a typical game today:

1) Whoop ass first half
2) Suck royally third quarter
3) Come back for the dramatic win in the fourth.

Go Broncos!!! #1 in AFC West!

KSigkid 10-31-2005 10:10 AM

The Giants really impressed me yesterday; Tiki Barber was awesome, and now my boys are in first place.

Tedy Bruschi's comeback is kind of unreal; I believe he's the first major athlete to come back from a stroke and return to competition. J.R. Richard couldn't come back with the Astros in the early 80's, and I can't think of any others who have tried.

Sister Havana 10-31-2005 10:14 AM

The Bears are in first place! :D

Granted, first place in the NFC North is a bit like being the tallest midget, but I'll take it!

Sister Havana 11-05-2005 02:24 PM

Terrell Owens has been suspended indefinitely for contract detrimental to the team.

Source

Who's surprised?

*whistles*

This is why I put him on my do-not-draft list for fantasy football.

And this is why I hope he NEVER plays for a team that I root for - because I just couldn't support him :p

Who's surprised?

Not surprised, but the Eagles did this to themselves. They knew the type of person and player they were getting in T.O., and they can't be shocked that it's come to this.

I can't wait for the inevitable Dan LeBetard column that describes him as a complete saint.

docetboy 11-20-2005 08:15 PM

Bronco's spanked New York today, keeping Invesco Field at Mile high pure from the L column this season. Next up - Thanksgiving in Dallas, adding win #9 to the season :)

Had to feel kind of bad for Testaverde -- what a horrible game for him.

Sister Havana 11-21-2005 10:03 AM

How about those Bears? :D

Sister Havana 11-27-2005 06:39 PM

Make that 7 wins in a row and counting for the Bears...:D

TristanDSP 11-28-2005 12:27 PM

Must suck to be Jay Feely right now...

He's stil better than Jose Cortez, who's on his 4th team this year I think.

Definitely, I cannot believe Feely missed those three kicks yesterday. A win yesterday would have been great, the Giants should have pulled it out.

TristanDSP 11-28-2005 10:15 PM

First Colts offensive play.....damn
