We started with 6. Three were friends and all dropped out together. One just disappeared?! So two of us were initiated, and the other guy didn't even come back to school the next semester...We had 10 initiate the next semester.

AChiOAlumna 09-09-2005 10:38 PM

We started out with 27...I believe we initiated 22....It was a good size for us and we had plenty of activities when we were "pledges" (This was before the PNM days).

queequek 09-09-2005 10:44 PM

Started with 16, and all were initiated :)

OzzyGrl7 09-10-2005 10:47 AM

40 new members, 40 initiated

polarpi 09-10-2005 02:38 PM

There were 8 from formal recruitment, 3 who had accepted COR bids a little before formal recruitment (we were a deferred recruitment school), so 11 of us went through Alpha Education together and all 11 initiated!

I really enjoyed having all 11 girls go through the build up to initiation with me - we had the chance to get to know one another really well, and I still keep in contact with almost all of the girls I initiated with!

(One wound up transferring to another school after we initiated, and one cancelled her membership more than a year after initiation - but 10 of us are still members in good standing!)

AznSAE 09-10-2005 04:18 PM

i was one of 8 chapter founders.

alphaxikt 09-10-2005 06:29 PM

I joined during spring COR, so there were only 4 new members in my class... Not suprisingly, we all were initiated! It was nice to have a small group - my pledge sisters were not the girls that I was ever really closest to in the chapter, but each of us wound up being very active Alpha Xi members!

I think I bonded more with the next class of new members (the next fall) and I wound up with "twin" lil sisters.

Corsulian 09-12-2005 02:26 AM

Sigma Class
Started with 34
18 Initiated (most drop themselves during the first week when they discover that joining a fraternity requires doing things)

sigtau305 09-12-2005 02:22 PM

5 total

MooseGirl 09-12-2005 07:50 PM

3

1 went alum after first year. The other 2 are now both on Grand Council, which we think is pretty indicative of our New Member class :)

LatinaAlumna 09-12-2005 08:54 PM

There were seven of us :)

DST4A00 09-12-2005 09:01 PM

52 started, 52 finished. It is a beautiful number, a little large though. We average about 40+. Luckily we still bonded.

ZetaPhi708 09-12-2005 09:04 PM

In the grand ol year of 1985, There were 11 associates. 9 made their grades and 2 of us did not. I was one of the 2.

He and I re-associated in following Spring Semester. I made my grades and the other associate did not. I went thru Ritual by myself at the start of the Fall Semester of 1986. It was worth the wait. Anyone else go thru their organization's Ritual by themself?

twhrider13 09-13-2005 12:31 AM

There were 10 of us in my new member class, and 8 of us were initiated.

rocketgirl 09-13-2005 07:29 AM

6 strong women crossed with me, making us a line of 7 :)

gamma_girl52 09-13-2005 10:05 AM

12 started, 12 finished :D

jubilance1922 09-13-2005 12:39 PM

NinjaPoodle 09-13-2005 12:42 PM

Dos.

BaylorBean 09-13-2005 05:45 PM

My class was 30, 29 initiated and I'd say just over half maybe survived through college.

My gradfather had a stroke durring I-week so I was initiated 2 weeks later by myself. An amazing experience but I always regreted not going through with the rest of my pledge sisters.

ASUADPi 09-13-2005 05:58 PM

I was a spring girlie with 10 other Alphas. I came in during spring recruitment with 7 other girls and 3 were carried over from the fall (COR).

Alll 10 initiated.

2 deactivated by the end of the semester. I transferred schools, but I'm pretty sure the 8 of us would be considered members in good standing.

AOX81 09-13-2005 07:28 PM

My pledge class had 7. All of us were initiated. :) Only one girl went inactive before graduation.

FeeFee 09-14-2005 04:58 PM

29 started, all were initiated. :D

Yeah I kinda regret also not going thru with the rest of my associate class but my initiation at the beginning of Fall 1986 semester got all the brothers fired up for Rush the following week. Still kinda kewl tho to say "my initiation" and it really was 'MY initiation".

opaldragon 09-14-2005 09:59 PM

6 bidded, 6 initiated; 2 dropped for whatever reason, 3 graduated, and I'm still here and will be until I graduate.

AXO Alum 09-14-2005 10:07 PM

17 to start (the biggest pledge class for our chapter ever) and 14 initiated. After that, they started dropping like flies. I think by the time I graduated 3 semesters later, that we had maybe half the 14, and after I graduated more resigned.

But hey - we had some good times while we were together

Betarulz! 09-15-2005 03:06 PM

My pledge class started with 23, got one more the first week of school for a total of 24. 23 freshmen and one sophomore.

All 24 eventually initiated (21 initiated to start second semester, 2 initiated at Spring Break b/c chapter felt they weren't ready, and one initiated the following August once he made grades.)

_Opi_ 09-15-2005 03:14 PM

There were 12 of us....:D

PinkSigma3 09-16-2005 10:12 AM

Fall 2004
17 went through, 15 initiated, 2 shipped to Iraq prior to initiation :(
Peachy Keen 17!!!

zchi2 09-16-2005 11:04 AM

Amen to that! I am #2 of 2 as well, and it was just perfect for me.

WHClark 09-17-2005 02:31 AM

Only 4 out of the 18 in my pledge class were initiated.

ZetaLuvBunny 09-23-2005 06:29 PM

34 were in my pledge class, but four years later only 5 of us remained. Many transferred, left school, or graduated.

Private I 09-24-2005 03:34 PM

started out with 8, ended up with 8. my chapter tends to have larger lines as far as TNX is concerned
