Travis Knight - NBA player *Played for UConn, then was drafted by the Chicago Bulls and then was renounced, so picked up by the Lakers. Has played for the Lakers, Celtics, and Knicks, but it looks like he hasn't played since the 2002-2003 season. (I still remember when he came to the high school my senior year and was presented a key to the town - or was it the school??? :D) |
The infamous went to my high school:
Shannon Faulkner (the girl that bullied her way into The Citadel and quit, eventually went to Furman University and failed out, and ended up graduating from Converse College) Shannon's mother taught at my high school. BTW, the whole situation with The Citadel was supported, started, and continued by her mother. I used to go to church with Marty Clary, a former pitcher for the Atlanta Braves. He eventually played baseball in Mexico and South America. Unfortunately, one of his children fell out of the window of a hotel he was staying in. Very upsetting. :( |
My mom went to hs with Lou Diamond Phillips. I am from the same town as Selena............???????? Does that count? I went to a small private Catholic school, maybe someone will Pope one day?

WOW, that list is hard to follow. I went to the University School of Nashville...I remember Tanya Tucker in the halls, Porter Wagonner's daughter playing the piano with me, some other people who were vaguely famous back in the day. We are used to seeing famous people around here, but * can't place who they are* in real life.

Saint Andrew's School (FL)
Just off the top of my head... Vince Spadea (tennis) Corina Morariu (tennis) Jennifer Capriati (tennis) Morgan Pressel (golf) Basically stereotypical Florida sports. Morgan Pressel and I were there at the same time. I think she was a freshman when I as a senior. |

I don't know of anyone overly notable at my high school (Guilderland High, just outside Albany, NY).
However, my boyfriend went to high school with Eliza Dushku @ Watertown High School, Watertown, MA. And my best friend Sydney went to high school with Jennifer Aniston @ the Rudolph Steiner school in Manhattan. :D |
Nashua High School (Nashua, NH)
Paul Michael Levesque aka Triple H (wrestler) Kole Ayi (NFL) Mike Graziadei (The Young and the Restless) Greg Landry (former NFL quarterback) Mike Lupica grew up in Nashua, but I don't know if he graduated from Nashua High or Bishop Geurtin. Same with Mike O'Malley, but I'm pretty sure he graduated from BG. |
Great Bridge High School (Chesapeake, VA)
Mike Cuddyer- Minnesota Twins. He was drafted my freshman year. Justin Upton- Arizona Diamondbacks Chris Richardson- booted off American Idol a few seasons ago BJ Upton (Tampa Bay Rays) is Justin Upton's brother. He went to Greenbrier Christian Acadaemy, but would have gone to GB had he not done the private school thing. David Wright (New York Mets) graduated from Hickory High School, which was our rival hs. I bump into his mom on occasion and she gets her hair done at my mom's salon. Ryan Zimmerman (Washington Nationals) is another local boy. Yeah, we crank out baseball players pretty regularly down here. Jimmy Fallon is from my ex-husband's hs (Saugerties Senior HS, Saugerties, NY) |
