If I remember correctly, IU doesn't use the traditional quota/total system. I am not completely sure how it works but I think they go by spots available in the house based on the number of members graduating, etc. It has nothing to do with the number of women going through. (There are generally about twice as many women who rush as there are spots available!) So one house could get 59 new members, like AXiD, another could get 45, and another could get 37 - and they've all met their own quotas. :) (Pledge classes are usually somewhere in the 40s.)

Ohhhhh, okay. Thanks for the explanation. I know of at least one other campus that does things that way, too.

Theta Tau chapter at Marian College got quota with COR to start this week. We had a legacy go through who tried to start a lot of trouble with us for some reason but it worked out well when she joined another sorority.

Iota Mu, Lycoming College received 10 wonderful girls through formal recruitment. We hope to pick up a few more through COB's this week.

I think Theta Nu, Elon got qouta at 37!

Theta Omega has 2 more members through COB and I'm working on getting my actual little sister to join so it might be 3.

Marquette University took 28 new members!

Iota Mu at Lycoming college this past spring recruitment are so proud of our lucky 13 new members!!!!

In a thread on the Recruitment Stories forum, it said that the chapter at Auburn took 23 this weekend!!

I was in Auburn for Bid Day today and Zeta Xi's newest members are amazing. The sisters had a wonderful Recruitment Week and Bid Day was no exception. Good luck ladies with your studies and COB this coming semester.

I can't stand it, I cant help it, I cant wait...

Bid Day is at noon tomorrow.

Out of 10 girls who are getting bids tomorrow morning, Five of them are ours. Iota Theta just increased membership by 100%.:D

Best part is, the other group can't brag that they out-did us. It was even, which is truly amazing and we are so dag blasted excited we can hardley control ourselves.

just learned that Iota Eta chapter at UTexas-El Paso (UTEP) took quota of 9 new members in recruitment ... yeah for Alpha Xi Delta!!!

Theta Omega got 11 new AXiDs.

Congratulations to all the chapters who have recruitment right now! It makes me very sad that I'm not as involved as I was a few months ago. :(

Recruitment this week for Epsilon at the University of South Dakota. I'm on old alum, but have been helping out behind the scenes. When I hear how they do I'll post!

Nu chapter at the University of Washington received 31 new members yesterday. Quota was 30. Way to go, good work leading up to their 100th anniversary next year.

Iota Theta extended a bid to one more girl tonight, after our COR event. Pleding is on wednesday. Thats SIX new members now. Yay for us!

Zeta Chi at UNC Wilmington took quota + 1 = 27 New Members in Formal Recruitment!!!!!

The sisters of the Zeta Eta Chapter got 14 new members on Saturday. Quota was 15! Only a couple more and then we have total!!!

Epsilon got 16 members this year. They unfortunately did not make quota this year, but they can still COB.

The Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta recieved 10 girls at formal recuitment this fall! One was allowed in over quota!! and we just need one more to reach total!!!

uksparkle just posted in the "whose rushing thread" that her sister received a bid from Alpha Xi Delta. She is at West VA. (I think) yeah Iota chapter!!

I just got off the phone with the president of Epsilon Iota at Newberry College in SC. The chapter took 8 new members last night in Formal Recruitment!!! And, they already have plans for COB and a list of ladies to invite the events!

The Zeta Tau Chapter at UNCA had 6 girls pledge from round one of COR and 5 more will be pledging Sunday night. That is a 75% increase in our chapter's size.

Hey everyone!!! We have added 4 BEAUTIFUL new founders to the colony at Monmouth :)

So Iota Theta just extended a bid to a 7th girl, and she gladly accepted. YIPPEE! And, this makes our record breaking membership number. This is the first time Iota Theta has ever had 12 members. YAY!

Theta Sigma Chapter at University of Central Florida initiated 53 new sisters at the end of October! :)

That puts us around 150 members, yay!

The Gamma Tau chapter at Ohio Northern University initiated 19 lovely new sisters this morning!

Beta Pi at Indiana received 51 new members on Sunday. I've been told that the chapter is very excited about their new member class.

The Theta Nu Chapter at Elon recieved 39 new members! Qouta was 37!

Iota Mu chapter at Lycoming College welcomed 15 new members on Sunday. We also have open bids to give out later this week.

Iota Theta's Bid Day is this Thursday. I'm going tonight to help with info night, and Wednesday night for Preference. Yippee!
