Exactly...I know for some people their hair is an extension of themselves (not just something on their head) and so I understand getting emotional about it the first time...but, after it's already gone, what's an extra inch? Well, if she makes it to the Miss America pagent and they ask her a question about standing up for her beliefs, she's got a great story/answer.

Who was watching last night?

Diane was the obvious choice to go. She lost all her personality and her pictures were not so great. I still think they should not include plus sized models because they always kick them out in the first half of the series. Maybe they could get Kate Dillion or someone to do a plus sized spin-off.

I like that Janice popped up and that she told Lisa to stop talking about people! I was hoping that Tyra would say something at panel, but at least Nigel made a comment about how old she looks. I really hope she goes soon.

Bre, Kyle, and Kim are now my favorites. I don't think Kim is the best AT ALL, but she has a special something about her that makes her interesting. I think the judges see that too and don't want to cut her. (Kinda like Ann in season three...the judges just kept pulling her along).

Yes, originally it was pubbed like it was going to be a plus sized ANTM. However, it did turn out to just be a pagent with a bunch of women who really weren't as confident as we would have thought/hoped.

I'm probably in the minority here but I like Lisa. She takes great photos. I think the problem is is that she is blunt (just like Janice). I don't think she means to be rude (by giving the other girls advice). But seriously, only Kim, Kyle and Coryn have "vocally" said anything about not liking her. Notice how none of the other girls really agreed or disagreed about not liking her. As for Coryn, the girl cannot take criticism of any kind, constructive or not. Lisa, although she should have said it a different way, was strickly pointing out exactly what Nigel had said in panel, that she is too muscular. Then when they were pointing out their flaws, she (Coryn) about had a conniption fit. She cannot handle it. Personally, I think Coryn is the bitch of the bunch.

I cannot stand Kim. I honestly don't know why they keep her. Seriously, the girl can't walk. Her pictures are not the best, by any stretch of the imagination and she's not improving.

With that being said, I'm shocked they got rid of Diane when she was improving. Go frickin' figure.

I love Janice, but I thought she stepped over the line when she was like "don't gossip". She didn't know the situation and she took Coryn's word for it, when Coryn and Lisa don't like each other in the first place. Coryn shouldn't have been eavesdropping on her (Janice) and Lisa's conversation in the first place!! She was being nosy as hell. Since Coryn doesn't like Lisa, she is going to think that everything out of her mouth is dripping with disdain, when in fact I think the other girls gossip more about their competitors than Lisa does. Again, I don't think Lisa is coming off good because she is giving advice but that is all it is, advice. The girls don't have to take it.

But, I love how the girls (including hypocrite Coryn) were talking shit about Lisa during her shoot and Janice told them they were doing it because they were jealous and insecure. Amen Janice. You can't say that Lisa is talking shit about the other girls, have Janice jump on her and then start talking shit too. Go Janice for catching them on it and saying something.

I was so excited when I saw that Janice was taking their photos. I was soooo hoping she would be on panel, just because panel has gotten so nice now. I miss the bluntness of panel that it had when Janice was on. Twiggy is just nice about everyone, she really doesn't have negatives to say and if she does she totally sugarcoats it, the same goes for the rest of panel.

What has happened to the panel talking over the girls on camera? It's so boring without it. I think they are trying to be too nice since Janice is gone. I actually cheered when she came on screen last night.

I know you like Lisa, but COME ON!!! Be objective! If you're telling someone your opinions on their appearance and they tell you they disagree and don't want to take your criticism and you KEEP HARPING ABOUT IT, you're a being a trouble maker and you're trying to get a rise out of the other person.

If I remember the episode correctly, Coryn happened to be standing near Lisa and Janice when they were talking, I don't think she walked over there to listen in on their conversation. In past seasons the judges and guests have told the girls not to bad mouth the other contestants, so I don't think it's unusual that Janice would tell Lisa to knock it off...especially since Janice seemed to like her and was probably trying to give her real advice. Seems like Lisa can dish it, but not take it.

I didn't jump on anyone's opinions. I respect your opinions. (Hell, I agree with your comment on "take Kim with you") I just disagree with the comments made about Lisa. And we are allowed to disagree. No matter what the show your gonna see different "things" and interpret things different ways. Just a fact of life.

Your right it is a TV show. But this is a discussion board and we are free to discuss our opinions on it, which are going to differ.

And as long as we respect each others opinions, everything will be fine. We'll discuss the show and we'll "have fun" while doing it. :)

The flaw discussion day came fresh after the arguement with Lisa and it's highly likely that Coryn made a face because she knew Lisa had make the comment AGAIN. I would be annoyed, too. At this point, Coryn hasn't "dished" out anything.

At the shoot with Janice, Lisa was trying to play herself up and act like she's hot shit and better that all other other girls. Janice told her not to act that way and Lisa tried to back peddle and say she doesn't talk about other girl. No, Coryn didn't have to get in the middle of it, but it's only natural that since Lisa had been poking at her flaws for two days that Coryn would drop in a little "yeah, you do talk about other girls."

ASUADPi, you were the one who made the comment about the "whole house" having a problem with Lisa, not I. Obviously we saw that Coryn, Kyle, and Kim have problems with her...but in previous episodes Lisa also made comments about Ebony and Diane (both gone now). When half the house has a problem with a person's behavior, maybe it's time for that person to re-evaluate how they are treating others.

It seems like Coryn and Lisa just feed off of each other. Neither one of them can keep their mouths shut. If Lisa isn't saying something to instigate Coryn, it's Coryn saying something to instigate Lisa. IMPO, with those type of attitudes neither one will make it in the modeling field.


And man, Lisa is drinking waaayyyyy to much!


Can't wait to see what they have to do for their photo shoot.

Okay Lisa is drinking way to much. But I think Bre is right, she is using drinking as a crutch.

The thing with Lisa "not admitting". I think the thing they forget is that people can say up and down that someone is an alcoholic but until that person admits it themselves they aren't going to think they are. So Lisa doesn't think she has a problem, the girls do, but until Lisa realizes she does she isn't going to think she is drinking too much.

Liked their commercials. I think the pictures will turn out good. We shall see.

I don't think Jayla took the line on purpose. I think it was just because her and Nik had similiar secrets. But it seems like they are blowing it way out of proportion, impo.

I had guessed that Lisa, Nicole, Jayla, Kim, Bre & Kyle would be selected but I wasn't sure about Nik and Coryn. I'm glad Nik is staying.

I thought they would select Lisa's photo but Nicole was my second choice.

I'm actually looking forward to get my People in the mail so I can see what her ad looks like. LOL.

Nik and Jayla were concerned because they were saying basically the same thing for their "secrets". Jayla was saying that she is afraid of the dark. Nik was going to say that she is afraid of the dark and uses a nite-lite. As Jayla was doing her commercial the first time she said she was afraid of the dark and the 2nd time she said she uses a nite-lite.

The two girls are now pissed at each other (over something really lame, impo).

I can't stand, Lisa! She just looks like cleaned up white trash to me. My husband calls her 'the Hillbilly'. I thought it was funny that nobody defended her when all the stuff was going on. Most of them seemed glad she was getting the verbal beating.

I really like Kyle and I liked Nik last night. I think it sucked that Jayla 'stole' her line. It totally through her off for the rest of the competition. There's just something about Nicole. She just looks really young to me. Almost like, it's illegal for her to be looking sexy in pics or something. Oh well...I really love this show! VH1 has been playing a lot of the old seasons, and it's so fun to watch it all over again! I DO miss Janice!

I think Nik should be pissed at Jayla because what she did was dirty. Then, she had the nerve to act like she didn't know why Nik was mad:rolleyes:. Then on top of that, she turned the whole situation around on Nik. What reason would she have to be upset with Nik:confused:

I was really surpised Coryn was the one to leave. I definitely think there are girls that are worse than her who should have left first.

I'm glad Kyle won the competition and got to host the VH1 special. Her commercial shoot was kinda cheesy, but totally similar to real commercials that air (ie - Neutrogena, or maxi pad commercials). I thought it was hilarious at the end when Tyra showed her picture and starting yelling and pointing "it's YOU Kyle!!!" hehe :D

Everyone knows how I feel about Lisa...and I think she just comes off worse and worse every week. Drinking in excess, criticising the other girls, and mocking the people that guest on the show (ie - the guy who was filming Kyle and Nicole's VH1 special) is just building the stack of cards against her. I wouldn't doubt it. Remember Ruthie from the Real World Hawai`i? It was said time and again from the cast and crew that her drinking wasn't that bad despite being portrayed as a raging alcoholic on TV.

it didn't even matter what they said it was just how they delivered it. nik took it way too serious. i mean it sucked jayla stole her line. nik wasn't able to recover from her shock and blew her part.

jayla's rant on the confessional was kinda pyscho. she lost points with me. i mean it was kinda shady. she was told to redo her line by the guy and when it wasnt working she added Nik's part in it.


p.s. im totally on nigel's side about lisa. her pictures are good but i just like her personality. i mean if she's so all-knowing about modeling etc. why is she on this show?

I just really don't know how much longer I can watch this season. Bre is the last one there that I like, but her pictures tend to be boring and she often has a dead stare in them.

I was so sad to see Kyle go last night, but at the same time she just seemed like too obvious a choice you know? I mean, she's incredibly beautiful and people have probably always been telling her that she should be a model, I dunno. And while she's gorgeous in person, her pictures w/exception of the natural black & white one from last night haven't really been spectacular.

I hate Lisa and Nicole, I can't even decide which one is worse. Am I the only one who thought that the picture of Lisa (the b & w one) that everyone was raving about last night was terrifying?! :eek: And she looks wayyyyy too much like that bisexual Rachel girl from Road Rules a few seasons back, creepy.

I don't even know who I want to win anymore, I'm not a huge fan of anyone left really. Except for Bre's hair when it's straight....most gorgeous thing EVER. ;)
