Murray State

Anyone know anything?

Pardon the crash, but AOII at Murray State has 31 new pledges. Including the daughter (legacy) of a good friend of mine from high school! Not sure what quota was at MSU, however I would bet dollars to donuts that AOII made quota.

Hey all just wanted to pop in and let you know that day 1 is over for LB, and there was glitch with Panhellenic...we didn't get started until at least 2 hrs after we were supposed to...no dinner break, and we finished at 10pm...the girls are wiped out, but did well. When I hear more I will update you.

Though I have to say it was awesome, one of my students from the HS where I teach went through recruitment and I saw her...she came over and said hi and gave me a hug. It was funny- I guess she knows that it's a life thing now, she thought it was cool. Let's hope she goes back tomorrow.:)

AOIIalum 09-10-2005 08:12 AM

Please keep us posted! Go LB!

AOII_LB93 09-11-2005 03:10 PM

Ok...so day 2...could have been better returns. Long story involving a some not so kosher behavior(not on AOII), but the skit went really well, and the girls who came back to our chapter were awesome women. Pref is tonight, and I know our ladies will do an outstanding job!:) We imagine quota to be near 29? I'll let you know more tomorrow.

Tau Recruitment

SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!

Okay, it's two days later, and I'm just now calmed down enough to post the results.

Recruitment went absolutely FABULOUSLY!!!!!

Quota: 15
AOII: 17

Total: 75
AOII: 76

Only one group on campus did not make total, and they missed by only 1. This is the first time in living memory this happened!!!

I'm so thrilled for the chapter that I am just bouncing off the walls!

AOIIalum 09-14-2005 11:41 PM

I just love happy endings! Sounds like things went phenomenally well for everyone! Thanks so much for sharing.

I hope you don't mind me crashing but I'm curious to know if this former student went with AOII.

I talked with one of my friends who was part of the U of Illinois chapter of AOII (sorry, I don't know your exact chapter name), and she shared that you all did awesome! Quota plus. I believe quota was over 50 this year, so way to go!! Whoo hoo! :D (Now, if I could just find out how the SK's did...)

Okay, final number was 56!! See Iota Website

edited: for grammar and final numbers

Crashing (again) but any word on how the chapter in Long Beach did? I went to that school and am always interested in how all the chapters there did in recruitment.

AOIIalum 09-21-2005 08:40 PM

BDE, if anyone has shared results then I'm sure that OleMissGlitter has updated our recruitment list.

I have no doubt whatsoever that we have the most amazing new members at Lambda Beta. Congrats and Roses to them, and best wishes to all of the newest sorority members at Long Beach.

Yes, I've been trying to stay on top it but if I've missed something just PM me and I'll get it up. I really only like to post it if an AOII has posted the results somewhere on GC or in the AOII forum. :)

Ole Miss Recruitment starts next week! Get excited!

OleMissGlitter 09-28-2005 11:41 AM

Lambda Chi update

Lambda Chi at LaGrange College not only got 11 wonderful women on bid day (quota was 14) they have already had a successful COR over the past week and a half and have 6 more new members. This gives them a total of 17 new members and the chapter has now just doubled in size! It is an exciting time for the women of LC.

Sarah

Nu Beta got 86 new members today! Quota was 84! I'm so proud of my girls! They worked so hard. They got their "tip-top" girls! I am not sure how many legacies we pledged but I know they did get some of them which is awesome! For Bid Day they all came to the house and then we went to The Skate Place to skate for a while and then we had a catered sit down dinner! It was an awesome Bid Day and all of our new members are gorgeous, smart, and just plan perfect! I'm super excited! :)
