I love it.

So I was at the store tonight and it looks to me like what is now called Coke Zero is traditional Diet Coke and Diet Coke with Splenda is going to become the normal formula. I love the Diet Cherry Vanilla Diet Dr. Pepper and the new Minute Maid Light flavors (Guava Citrus is the best!). I bought the Pepsi One with Splenda and am trying it tonight. Many of my friends swear by it, but I haven't brought myself to try it yet.

Fun fact: Sun Drop is the soda with the most caffeine in it. Yes, even more than Mountain Dew.

Im not fond of aspartame because it turns into formaldihide (a known neurotoxin) at around 82 degrees. Of course, body tempurature is much warmer than that: Hence, all the studies linking this chemical to cancer.

Sun Drop - I agree, it's NOT Mt. Dew, but it's the easiest way to describe it :) Mt. Dew "type" of drink, but 1000 times better!

Coke Zero - I saw that today and had no idea what it was. It was right next to the regular Diet Coke, so I couldn't figure out what the difference was.

I can't stand diet colas. Too after-tastey for me.

I do love Pepsi Edge and C2, though. (I can find them pretty easily around here)

Never tried Diet Coke with Splenda although if it tastes as much like regular Coke as everyone says it might be worth a try.

Following up...I bought a bottle of Diet Coke with Splenda to try with lunch today. It's not bad. Still a touch of aftertaste but much better than regular diet Coke.

I still prefer C2 though. :)

WTF is Splenda, anyway? It's more made up chemical crap, isn't it? The only stuff I drink is regular coke, beer, coffee and water, LOL.

The Shasta colas are all made with Splenda. I don't know if Shasta is considered a store brand or not but I can't have anything they make anymore. Diet 7-Up has Splenda in it as well. I am most irritated that Hansen's has Splenda as an ingredient, since they claim to be so natural. it is even in flavored Aquafina water and similar items. I went to the store to buy some frozen novelty treats and almost all of it has Splenda. Even the syrups at some coffee shops have Splenda in it. Not having any of this stuff will likely make me healthier, but man will I be a miserable cranky biatch.
