My first name didn't make the top 1000 in the 70's or 90's, but made it to 775 in the 80's. Here is the grade for my name:

Siobhan,

The Sharp-Minded, Stimulation-Seeking, Freedom-Loving Non-Conformist

This name influence is all about contrast, duality and conflict. If at all possible, use another form of first name. Take a look at how Maryanna "grades" this name, but do keep in mind that your Full Name also plays an important role in overall influence, thus this component of your name does not alone offer a complete picture of your moniker's effect on your life.

Health: D
Financial Potential: D if a weak full name is used, otherwise the grade could be higher
Professional/Job Success: B+
Relationship/Compatibility: D-
Charisma/Sex Appeal: A
Communication Ability: C
The influence is a mix of masculine and feminine energies actively opposing each other.

Others who share this first name frequency include Olivia Newton-John, Sophia Loren, Donald Trump and Amelia Earhart.

Like I'm going to use another form of myt first name

My Name:
The Quiet, Private, Refined Manager

Health: B+
Financial Potential: A
Professional/Job Success: A
Relationship/Compatibility: B
Charisma/Sex Appeal: A
Communication Ability: B
The frequency is a blend between masculine and feminine influences.

Others who share this first name vibration include Aretha Franklin, Natalie Wood and Gloria Steinem.

I used to hate my name when I was younger because I grew up surrounded by Jennifers, Michelles, Amys, and Stephanies so I felt left out. I got used to it as I grew up.

Funny you should mention that b/c in my brand mgmt class in grad school we just finished a book called "Positioning" it dealt with positiong/branding products, the last two chapters being on positiong yourself and how your name affects it.

My name is hebrew and people always mispronounce it, but my last name is easy.

But my name is also unique, so people tend to not forget it. :D

My name is Stormy. Almost everytime that I met the friends of whatever guy I happen to be dating they always say something about a porn star. The last friend I met said "oh, Stormy, like the porn star?". The time before that it was "The only other girl I've ever heard of named Stormy was a porn star".

Despite having a porn star type name, i love it. People always remember me and its an instant conversation started. The last guy I meet told me it was the most kickass name ever.

On another intersting note, I share some name vibration goodness with Santa Claus.

Do they have scripts? They all say the same thing.

I don't know if they have Bugaboo Creek Steakhouses out where you are (or if you've been to one elsewhere) but they all have to have these stupid "rugged" names, I guess to go along with the rugged cabin look of the restaurant. We went there once and our waiter's "name" was Festus.

This site is *weird*

I got the same results as mu_agd and ZTAngel...

and my name is *definitely* not Nicole.

I wonder what theoretical calculations go on ... or if it's just random?

astroAPhi 04-15-2005 01:16 PM

Another Nicole, right here. Hellooooo 1982.

One weird thing I noticed was that I got called Michelle a lot. Not just by one or two teachers, but by a lot of them. Nicole and Michelle were both very popular names in my grade and school, so maybe it was just the fact that they were so popular. When I joined Alpha Phi and I was the only Nicole, I was estatic! And then by the time I graduated I was 1 of 4. I made them all change to Nikki, Nik, and Nichole (who we called Nic w/a ho).

I wonder if anyone has done a name analysis on middle names. I'm not only a Nicole, but a Nicole Renee... practically all of my girlfriends had middle names like Renee, Lynn, or Nicole. Our parents were so unoriginal it was digusting. :p A lot of guys have middle names like James or Michael, but there was a line in those studies about parents being less adventurous with boys names.

After being stuck with Nicole for so long, I always wanted to name my kids something exotic, like Aurora or Destiny. LOL, I would have given my future kids a complex if I'd been allowed to pick out names when I was 12.

I can't even do the name thing because apperently there are no matches for Kiersta

Story of my life.... I was never able to get the "name things" that other girls had in their rooms. I always hated the first day of class because teachers could never pronouce my name (they still can't) and introducing myself to people gets old because they always comment on my name.

Its not so bad anymore, and I like that people have an easier time remembering me because of my name (that helped in recruitment!) but I wonder if other people with "different" names had those same problems?

ETA: If I had gone by my middle name (Danielle) I would get all A's....
