This song is honestly, my chapters favorite. Whenever we go to our friends house during parties we try to play it, but the boys get mad and try to change it...so we just keep resetting it till we get to listen to it at least once! Haha. It really does prove how bitter we are :-p

Has anyone heard of this song called "Coin operated boy" by the Dresden Dolls? Don't know why I can't get them outta my head since hearing them on Jimmy Kimmel as I was falling to sleep a few weeks ago.

Ha! I know a few guys who are closet fans of Miss Clarkson's latest. Mr. SSS, being one of them, tried to cover it up by saying, "Oh, well what I meant to say was that it's not as bad as her other stuff." Suuuure.... :p

I don't even know what my favorite song is right now. As for new releases, I can't seem to get enough of 50's "Disco Inferno" right now, and I also really like Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know." But otherwise I've lately been all about classic rock and not much else.

I'm loving the new Beck stuff. And I definitely get pumped when I hear a Killers song played on the radio.

I also really like the new Queens of the Stone Age song (Little Sister).

I love that song too! I have had it stuck in my head all morning. I love the video too. I was a film major in college and I go crazy over stuff that references movies I love!

Some of the stuff. Not all of it. Disco Heaven was nothing special to me. Winter Chill compilations are usually pretty strong.

Are we talking about the same Hed Kandi?

The problem with Hed Kandi is that it gets fricking expensive since it's harder to find on file sharing networks.

Yes, that's the Hed Kandi I'm talking about. I'm not too thrilled with Disco Heaven, either...there seem to be only a few really great songs on the latest one. I don't think I'll be buying another one unless I listen to it a bit more before buying. Beach House seems hit-or-miss...sometimes it's too pop-y. I did NOT like Back to Love at all, much to my disappointment. The Disco Kandi series is pretty solid, though. One of my friends loves the Twisted series - I keep meaning to check out those and Winter Chill.

The Virgin store on Michigan has a pretty good selection of Hed Kandi in the dance/import room.

I like Winter Chill because it's not hard and pretty lounge-like. It reminds me of when Spa and Lotus were cool in NYC.

I've been to the Virgin store a lot but only because imports are hard to find elsewhere. Tucked behind the gross ben sherman clothing are some cool finds there.

This song isn't on Hed Kandi but I found it on a compilation import. The song is "If I ever feel better" by Phoenix. If you like music like that, you'll love Winter Chill.

I like Disc 1 the best.

Edited to add: Funny how we're discussing Hed Kandi and one of the songs comes on my french web radio. San Salvador rocks.
