I have to agree, I DO NOT like veggies in my Pho... grrr...I'm the only one in my house who doesn't eat it with "ga" (veggies) but without that "ga", it's actually really good, I totally love it! I love Pho Vo Gien the best... ohhh and Bun Cha Lua is awesome too!!!
other stuff like, Goi Cuon, if I'm having one, it better not be all veggies, It has to have meat in it or else it's horrible...I wonder how anyone can possible eat that with only veggies as the stuffing...
Yep out of my viet/french house....I'm one of the ones obsessed w/pasta...and not rice lol...

Ohhh and it's pronounced like "Fhuh" NOT "foh" or "foe"...people actually say that?? WTF...
Take it from someone who HAD to speak in Viet growin up in the house to our parents or else we'd be ignored...which is awesome now, but then I was like...ehhh why, but now I look at some of the pple who go to Viet Catholic Mass with us whose's kids speak in English at home, they have no clue what is being said at Mass at all, it's sad...

Wheee, living in Orlando is awesome coz we're the ONLY FL city to have the (south) Viet flag up in Viet-town part of State Road 50 ...they allowed us to do that last year.
