Don't you know that some country clubs exclude minorities without your actually trying to seek membership or wanting to seek membership? You know through association and based on "public knowledge."

Through association is how many of our founders knew that blacks where largely excluded from predominently white networks (including but not limited to GLOs).

Again, we are talking in general because BGLOs have a GENERAL catalyst for their foundings which shapes our GENERAL purpose.

To be honest with you, I do not think our organizations would exist if the political, economic, and social history of blacks and whites in this country had not been the way it was (and is).

No one can PROVE that we would have had the NAACP, the Urban League, have the Black Church, have HBCUs, and have BGLOs if there had NOT been colonialism, slavery, Jim Crow, and other historical artifacts that influence race relations (between ALL races) in this country.

The history of blacks and whites in this country (since our history and interactions are unique) is why we were excluded from predominently white networks, including GLOs.

We are minorities in terms of power and influence in this country which is a result of our unique history in this country . If history had worked out differently and whites had been the minority and were excluded, THEY would need and have the NAAWP, the White Church, HWCUs, WGLOs founded to service the white community and counter the oppression and exclusion of whites, etc.
