James, you crack me up!!!! |
So this post drew my attention....and I googled the "great eight sororities at Stanford" and it still comes up! I thought he said he took it down?! Take a look at the site.....how funny is that!!!
ETA: That is a lot of work just to show people what he feels greek life is all about! |
I don't think this website is too big of a deal. As ADPiAkron said, the website is still up and can still be found via Google. It looks like it's just his personal views of the sororities at Stanford (with lots of pictures), and, like any personal website, should not be taken as any kind of reference guide. Also, if you do google "the great eight sororities" (with or without quotation marks) the ONLY thing that even mentions "the great eight sororities" is this guy's website.
The beauty of the internet is that people can post whatever they want for the entire world to see, regardless of whether not it is true or has any basis in reality. So...even though the website does have "stanford.edu" (a seemingly reliable source for information) in the URL, you might also that it is Jeff Lee's personal website and isn't affiliated with Stanford in any way other than the fact that Stanford is giving him hosting space. |
