Word on the street (and by street I mean the message boards on fansofrealitytv.com) is that Fabrice is gay. So that could be the big secret.
And they say he was a contestant on a French reality dating show a few years ago. And ick. John Paul, I do not like the navy suit-brown loafers-no socks look. Doesn't this show have a stylist that checks the boys over? They should. |

I'm not thrilled with the final 4. Why did she let Ben go? Would she really prefer to marry Wendell or smarmy John-Paul over Ben? Eeewww....
And Jerry, while cute, is a Ricky Martin look-alike. I like Ryan, but I think she has some unresolved Andrew Firestone issues there, as the guy reminds me a LOT of Andrew. |

Is there a gay ringer on The Bachelorette? Entertainment blog http://washingtonsocialites.com has outed contestant Fabrice. The hottie is listed on ABC's website as a real estate investor but the blog claims he is actually Fabrice Le Parc, an actor/model from New York City. Originally from France, Le Parc, according to the blog has acted in several productions. In 2003, he starred in the comedy "4 Secondes de Chute Libre" at the Theatre de l'Opprime in Paris. That same year, he was also cast in Operation Seduction II, a French TV show. Le Parc has also appeared in a few advertisements, including one for Philips. No comment from either Fabrice or ABC. http://kellyanncollins.com/2005/01/f...helorette.html |
This might just be me, but I think the bachelors this season are less attractive than in Trista's or Meredeth's seasons.

I haven't seen the last couple episodes, but Wendell and John Paul? EW.

Poor Ben was the ONLY guy still there who didn't have an alone date with Jen. That is a big disadvantage --- I think ABC needs to rethink how they structure how the potential suitors get one-on-one dates since so many of them never spend more than a few minutes with the Bachelor(ette). The competitions -- basketball games, races, letter writing and friends picking their favorites --- are all interesting and make for some interesting TV... but it shows in the track record of these relationships post-show that they need more time (on camera of course! this is still reality tv) to get to know each other better to see if they are really compatible and to prevent the Bachelor(ette) from letting people go early because they only talked with them for a few minutes. |
meet the parents
What did everyone think of the meet the parents episode tonight where Jen visited the 4 guys' hometowns?
I didn't want to post what happened yet in case some people tape it, but WOW some interesting hometown dates! |
I normally can't stand John Paul but I thought he was kinda appealing last night. I liked his family and his house. I can't imagine being that established at 25 (my age now)!! Ryan is getting boring. I think she'll drop him next week. How mean was she to diss his mom on national TV? Wendall's mom was dead on about Jen not being into him. He was too nice for her.

The show seriously sucks this year. I haven't been watching regularly, but last night I kept wondering what exactly is so interesting about any of these people that we want to watch their boring ass dates.
First of all, she only likes John Paul Ringo for his money and because his mom is a gracefully aging Trixie. Dude lives in Oklahoma -- WTF? Also, sure Ryan's parents talked about Thailand a lot, but WTF? She was the biggest brat at that dinner -- OMG STOP TALKING ABOUT THAILAND TALK ABOUT MEEEEEEE I'M SO AWESOME MEEEEE IT'S ALL ABOUT MEEEEEE! I was relieved that for once they weren't all talking about her and whether they're all In This For The Right Reasons, which frankly is boring as hell. She should be able to keep Wendell as the gay best friend. He'd be a perfect gay best friend. Of the dudes left, Jerry is the only one who is remotely attractive. |
i'd gladly consol Ryan. It would be nice to have a good communicator for once!
Which guy do you guys think will be the next bachelor? |
Looks like we might find out the truth about Fabrice next week...
|
I loved the Ryan Brush-Strips product placement...that was shameless! Oh and the pink strapless dress + black bra combo really wasnt working for me...
Jerry seems shaddy...dont know about him. |

I only saw the rose ceremony. After she said she thought Jerry was a player, she gave roses to Jerry and John Paul. I was sad to see Ryan go. |
Detailed recap here -
http://abc.go.com/primetime/bachelor...2004-05/6.html I thought she was going to send John-Paul home. |
I thought I liked Jen, but she really has the personality of tofu -- she's the epitome of a Lincoln Park trixie. I almost hope she ends up with smarmy John Paul so they can have a shallow life of money and blonde friends -- but would she become an Oklahoma trixie?!

I have honestly been so disappointed by Jen. She has NO personality!! (AND she is a horrible dresser!!!!) She rolls her eyes at everyone and seems so difficult to please. I feel sorry for whom ever she picks because there is no way he will live up to her standards. I'll bet 100 bucks she picks Jerry because she is sooo damn shallow.

In the end, I think she is going to choose Jerry. Someone mentioned the shallow issue and I think that's right on target. |
I am guessing that in the end she picks Jerry. The way that the producers are portraying all this "I don't get him....he seems to have no substance" issues...It is almost as if they are deliberately (yeah, right!) trying to through us off track. As much as John Paul seems like the rightful one, that she doesn't have any "issues" with, I would be willing to say that in the end she picks Jerry. Pretty scary with his track record and reality show people he has been affiliated with. He just doesn't do it for me. He has something that seems VERY fake. While with John Paul and Ryan, there at least seemed to be a spark.
Next week will be interesting to see what happens with the whole Fabrice scenario. I would rather see what Andrew Firestone says though. |
I think Jen borrowed that pink dress from Barbie's closet. I'm not surprised she got rid or Ryan. She drops all the nice guys, which means she'll probably choose Jerry. I bet they're just teasing us with the Fabrice thing. They just want us to think he's gay.
|
I will bet anyone $20 that Wendell is the gay one.
There used to be a website that explained the trixie thing but it's been down for a long time. It's pretty much a slam on the women who live in Lincoln Park -- I guess you could liken them to stereotypical sorority girls who grow up, move to Chicago, drive Jettas, drink Starbucks every day, carry Kate Spade handbags, like new development condos and look for rich boyfriends named Chad. |

I still like Jen (I know, I'm likely in the minority :)), but I'm hoping she does pick John Paul - just because personality and values wise, they *seem* a lot more compatible (and Jerry is just way too shady and defensive when asked very valid questions!) |
a coworker was telling this girl in the office that she thinks the producers made ryan look all nice and goody to throw the viewers off. she thinks they edited and only showed jerry's shadiness side to make you think she wont pick him.
anyways, they dont think she is going to pick john and live in oklahoma. |
who's she gonna pick?
John Paul is so much better, but she deserves Jerry ;) |
What a dumb girl. SHe kept saying how JP was everything she was looking for yadda yadda and then picks Jerry. Great show the world how superficial you can be good job.
|
come here, John Paul, I will gladly comfort you!
|
oh that song was sweet :) corny at times, but sweet.
|
OK..I KNEW that this was going to happen...
|
hmmm... maybe she did learn something after all!
|
Who thinks Jerry is going to be the Bachelor in the fall?
|
So what was the point of her doing this show? I hope she's happy.
