my cousin saw that a lot of people had things like UNVME, UNVUS, and 12BNVOF so she decided to get...INVNO1. I thought that was cute. (I envy no one!)

I saw an older black woman the other day driving a PHAT Benz with plates that read "4UMOM". I thought that was toooo sweet!! Wonder who her child is!!

carolyne 10-08-2001 09:40 AM

I once saw a plate that had "IYQYQR". I thought it was cute once I figured it out.

MaNessa 10-08-2001 11:40 AM

Okay I am slow I admit it and I can't figure it out "IYQYQR"

HELP A SISTA OUT, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Steeltrap 10-08-2001 01:07 PM

A Bette Davis fan had BTTE DVS on his plate.
I have a few more, but they slip my mind.
California is the capital of personalized plates, lol.

Okay, I'm on the short yellow bus with this one, too. What does "IYQYQR" mean?

I saw this one this past weekend in Mississippi: "DONTBJ" :D

ZetaLuvBunny 10-09-2001 01:38 PM

IYQYQR would say "I like you like you are"

Oh yeah I thought of some great Zeta plate ideas I could use (when I get a car someday LOL). It's pretty sad, but I think I'm the only eighteen-year-old without a car... :*(

ZetaLuvBunny 10-09-2001 01:48 PM

novella000---speaking of 2TYTE I thought some cute ones for anyone would be:
TYTE-END
TYTE WAD
TYT WYTS (tighty whities---like the underwear LOL!)
TYTE A55 (LOL if you're brave enough)

amycat412 10-09-2001 02:29 PM

In the "Did you know that" department...

How many of you knew or remember that there was a game show in which you had to decipher personalized license plates called "Bumper Stumpers" which aired weekday afternoons on the USA network, and aired reruns on the Game Show Network a while back.

Lemme test your license plate saavy:

This license plate might belong to Joan Collins:
TRDFHM

Now here's a REAL stumper!

This license plate might belong to a country Jheri-curl "dutty south" brother:
AU 2TH

Think real hard about this one!!

;)

Back with more later!

VERY GOOD, CT4!!!

(AU is the chemical symbol for gold, and 2TH is TOOTH)

Thus, the plate, "Gold Tooth"

How about this one:

This plate may belong to a hair-loving ghetto girl:

AG XXSHNS

See if you can solve that one!!:D

Silver Extensions!!
Rain Man, I was an ACE @ Chemistry and know all of my elements and their symbols well.

Besides that my vanity plate will be Chemistry related as soon as I register for my new plates in March.

Bumping this old thread up, but in California I see crazy plates all the time. The other day, I saw one that said FO SHEE Z. :p

KappaStargirl 03-01-2002 05:55 PM

what a fun thread...

I tried for DAYS to find a CA vanity plate that was available, and ended up getting RAVNCLW because GRYFNDR and SLYTHRN were taken...any other Harry Potter fans out there (yes I'm obsessed but I'm also a children's librarian)?? Also taken were NMBUS2K, FIREBLT (which is the plate I almost got in Illinois, two weeks before I found out I was moving to SoCal) and NMBS2K1. I thought about getting AUSNTCH (Golden Snitch), but not everyone is as sharp as Steeltrap and I figured if I was going to get vanity plates other people should be able to read them, even if they don't get the reference. Other plates I've seen in Illinois:

A O Pi

I OWE DAD

U2SLOW

ZetaLuvBunny 03-01-2002 06:13 PM

when I save up enough $ for a car, I might see if I can get a plate with one of the following:

ZTA4EVR (Zeta [is] Forever)

WHTVLET (White Violet)

5PTCRWN ( Five Point Crown)

STRWBRY (Strawberry)

CRWNZTA (Crown Zeta)

CKTNBLST (Seek the Noblest)

ZTA1898 (year of founding)

MTSUZTA (pretty obvious--- my school & ZTA)

any other Zetas have Zeta-related tags?

CrimsonTide4 05-19-2002 10:35 AM

Saw this one the other day. . .

. . . in my apartment complex

DAT BIA

1Babygirl2000 05-19-2002 05:13 PM

A friend of mine somehow got FAAHQ past the DMV. Stumped...nope, it's has nothing to do with the federal aviation headquarters...give up. F*** You! And he still has them to this day. People are always honking at him!

My dad wants RMEQUE (Army Que). Guess Why. Mom wants 20PRLS (guess what she is! ;))

I'm not sure what I want yet.

I've also seen:

POONANY - On a SORORS plates. smh, just sad!
QUE1911
YOBBYYO (Yo Baby Yo)
IVYLEAF
BNDOGD (Been Dogged) Poor woman got dumped by a bruh!
DONVME
TI 3VOM (in the mirror reads MOVE IT)
CMNTHRU

I have more, but I'm suffering from temporary stupidity. So I'll be back with more.

CrimsonTide4 05-19-2002 08:18 PM

Well I'll just be . . .

I kid you not, I love to see that plate when I ride down the street it cracks me up especially when I am in the mood of reading all the vanity plates and making sentences out of them as I see them!

carolyne 07-11-2002 05:24 PM
