okay, i saw the bootylicious remix video today. can we say YUCK! why is kelly crawling around on the floor? is it because beyonce crawled around in the mud on the survivor video? why did they look like straight TRASH!! now, i'm not a hater. i actually am a d.c. fan, to an extent, but this video is a hot mess!! i wish ya'll could see how turned up my face was when i watched that video.

Have you seen the video from the group called Alien Ant Farm? It's a remake of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal. It has a little bit of something from of Michael's old videos including the the lighted sidewalk. It's interesting.

I have heard the remake of Smooth Criminal. I have not seen the video yet. But i do like the song. Mostly I laugh at it. I can not believe they put it in an alternative form.

I actually love the song/video for "Contagious." It has grown on me...Mr. Biggs is the man *his old behind!!*

for ya'll that have seen the "i'm a thug" video by trick daddy, what do you think of it? i mean, the man ends the video taking a "big ole" bite out of a piece of chicken and smiling in the camera, showing all of his gold fronts!!!

I just finished watching the premier of Michael Jackson's new video. I have a few questions. What did you think of it if you saw it?

I liked Chris Tucker being in the video, it brought flavor to it. I also like the way Chris Tucker was moving and grooving to the music. Can someone please tell me if they thought that Michael Jackson looked liked some kind of alien? He didn't look real at all, and what was up with the scarf around the head. When he smacked the girl on the booty that didn't even look right either, and he was trying way to hard I guess to be "down".

I can't believe he paid Marlon Brando 1 million just to show his really bloated body and face in the video. I liked the dance routine that Mike did, but I wanted more, and I have liked the song since it first came out, but it could have been much better, the video that is. It was still cool, but I don't think it was worth any where near the 4 million he paid.

All in all, I still gotta give Mike credit for still doing his thang.:p

Chris Tucker is hilarious and he brings life to anything he does, but that video is too DAYUM long.:eek:

I guess I must have seen the edited version of "You Rock My World" because it didn't appear to be any longer than the regular Music videos. Anywho, yeah he does look a little freaky. I like the scarf thingy under the hat though, like Alicia Keys wears in her videos.
As much of a JACKSONIAN that I used to be, I am tired of both he and Janet. It is time for them to go and raise their families as evidenced by their sagging record sales and popularity.
I still love J Square, but Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis on EVERY album for the last 16 YEARS??!! Enough already.

Michael, he appears stiffer than usual (old age). This new video is just a poor recycling of Smooth Criminal. Some cool dance-- of course but generally ordinary in Michael Jackson standards.

Words can not say enough about how I feel about Aaliyah. The video is a great representation of where she was going to go with her music and videos. Her CD represents her older more mature sound.

Ummm...moreso...does anyone else not have a problem with the growing need for women to show ALL of what God gave them...INCLUDING female artist...it's gotten so bad that now even the women are walking/shaking/rolling all that they have for the cameras. Before, it was always the female extras in male videos getting paid to do it, nowadays the females directing and singing in the videos do it too...why do we as females keep disrespecting our bodies? when d'angelo's "how does it feel" came out...and men everywhere complained about how "they didn't want to see all that"...I figured videos would calm down some...or at least female artist would display more sexy men ;) ....but just the opposite occured...did anyone else notice this growing trend?? Something to think about.

I don't know how many of ya'll saw the world premiere, but it premiered on MTV's New Year's Eve thing last night and all I can say is wow!

First off, I was pleased to see that Justin's leading lady in the video was a Sista! I was gonna clown if their weren't any Sistas in this video. They're in heavy rotation on BET now and Free even said what's up with some Sistas in the next video the last time they were on 106 and Park. Glad they took that to heart.

I don't want to give too much of the video away, but it's a cool, laid-back, party type video. I say this about every on of their videos, but this is the best one yet!!!!

i was just listening to the radio and they were wondering about aaliyah's sexuality. when she died, usa today reported that damon dash (jay-z's boy and head of rocafella records, i think) was her man. but then i'm listening to the radio and they're talking about how she never has a love interest in any of her videos. and in "rock the boat" she just had a bunch of girls dancing half-naked on a boat... hmmm.. they had me wondering...
and i dont know about any of yall but i am tired of seeing half-naked females in videos, ex. 112 "peaches and cream," r.kelly's "feelin on the booty," among other ones.

I half-watched the top 100 of 2001 countdown on BET yesterday, but I missed the top 5... anybody see what was number 1?

And also, Aaliyah had love interests in "1 In A Million", "If Your Girl Only Knew", "Four Page Letter", and some other videos I can't recall right now. I think it's because she does more dancing than dramatizing/acting that it seems like she didn't have that element to her videos. :confused:

I totally agree, Sweetest Diva. I remember ONE in a Million and Are You that Somebody but Aaliyah is a dancer and she showcases that in her videos. She is like the old Janet videos.

has anyone seen faith's new video for her song entitled, "i love you?" well, i did and i must say that although i love the song, the video leaves much to be desired. faith never seemed to try to come off as "sexy" in her videos to me and in this one, it seems like she is trying tooooo hard to be sexy.
