I'm on Black Planet too, thanks to my students' mischief!

They applied for an account for me & I've kept it - it's how I stay in touch with them (they're all now college seniors).

But I enjoy BP because they have so many techie gimmicks.

One bad thing about BP - there are SO many ads, but I guess if we want a free portal, that's the way to go (like Yahoo).

Greetings all, I know this post is kinda late, but better late than never right? My screen name is FLKING on BP as well. Drop by anytime.

I still go from time to time, but Black Planet had a lot more going on a few years ago. You have to go through it with a FINE TOOTH COMB to fine some of them "Real" folks now.

There are a lot of Greeks on it, and some really cool people of substance, but you find some "Stuck on Stupid" folks in there too. If you doubt me, search through the chat rooms. I saw a room for some street gangs and I thought I saw a racist chat room. :eek:

Just for the record, I'm in there under "UNNOspr 99" of course.
