Yes! I suspect they all lied in order to get Stacie J. out! They saw how seriously Trump took the news and they saw it as Stacie's way out.

totally. especially since the group had been trying to get rid of her from the start. i missed the beginning of the episode, so i didn't see the task. i can't wait to catch it tonight.

Here's the psych coming out in me.....Unless it's on the cutting room floor, NO ONE in that boardroom (Maria came the closest), gave any concrete description of Stacie's behavior and why it "scared" them. Playing with and believing in an 8 ball means nothing. Stacie could have been doing that just to get camera time, or she could have been doing it to pump everyone else up (maybe the conversation in the room went downhill....we didn't see that.....).

Although, I'm thinking that Trump might have some sort of background info on Stacie that she may have some sort of behavioral/psychiatric problems in her past. Why else would he let her go with vague statements like that? The girls never even specified what fires the Project Manager had to keep putting out because of Stacie! So I'm thinking he had some background info, or saw some camera footage that we didn't see that told him she had some real problems. Heck, last season everyone ganged up on Omarosa in much the same way, and didn't Trump make her a Project Manager (giving her team EVERY OPTION to fail and get her fired) and she STILL managed to stay on a few weeks longer?

We'll see what the extra footage says....

PsychTau 09-25-2004 08:35 PM

So I'm watching the expanded version....

...and I must say that I LOVE the extra boardroom footage. However, I have one thing to say......

WHAT FIRES???????

People, please....give me some specifics!!!! Someone alluded to the fact that Stacie J didn't complete her task of getting the product to the site, but I saw tons of toothpaste there, so it got done somehow!!!

PsychTau

valkyrie 09-25-2004 08:55 PM

What I thought was weird too was the way they showed Stacey on the phone hiring temps -- and no mention had EVER been made of hiring temps, so Stacey looked like a complete psycho for doing that. But then at the boardroom, it became clear that someone had the idea of hiring temps and Stacey was just following up on that -- WTF? It was clear that the other women were ganging up on her.

PsychTau 09-25-2004 09:04 PM

Well, OK....they gave a few more specifics....paranoid behavior is weird and can get dangerous if someone thinks everyone is out to get them and they try to retaliate....but a lot of that stuff they said I didn't see. Probably good editing....probably trying to avoid some sort of legal action. Who knows.

In any case, she did get on my nerves saying that she was the strongest woman there "just because I am". That was annoying. Plus, I think it's funny that she is called a "restauranteur" when she actually owns ONE Subway franchise. Not putting any franchise owners down, but you really don't have to create a menu, create a marketing buzz, etc. with a franchise. You do what the company tells you to.

And has anyone noticed that she has used the phrase "they formed a sorority" a lot since the beginning? Wonder what that was about?

I loved watching the extra boardroom footage because it made more sense as to how much more finger pointing was going on than what was shown and how it turned to Stacie J. It would have made much more sense to have Ivana in the boardroom than Stacie J. The minute the overage was discovered Ivana should have contacted the project manager immediately. WTH is the project manager doing sleeping while everyone else is up at 2am? Marie showed her true colors by not stepping up to the plate and admitting her mistake.

When all of the women were brought back to the boardroom, Jennifer actually defended Stacie J. saying that Stacie did as she was told and wasn't ultimately responsible for the teams loss. She did say the other women are using her as a scapegoat. I agree Pscyh Tau.The politically incorrect crazy word was thrown around quite a bit without any real time footage examples. The fires must on have been hot enough for tv and fell on the cutting room floor.

Bascially the other women didn't want her and made a mountain out of a molehill. It was a good idea for Trump to bring the women back into the boardroom. It made his job of who to fire easier.

polarpi 09-30-2004 01:06 AM

So what did you all think of tonight's episode?

ZTABullwinkle 09-30-2004 04:03 PM

Personally, the decision on firing Jen C. was like Caroline said..."A no-brainer." The girls are so catty and don't get along. But how is it that "two fat, Jewish ladies" ruined the WHOLE survey results?

Jen C. definitely had something personal with the two she brought into the boardroom. Next week should be interesting, the ladies look like they are self-imploding again.

Personally, I am cheering for Maria. She is from my hometown. But she definitely needed to say that she made a mistake during the toothpaste challenge.

Also, it was nice that Bill got to participate in this season's show. He knows better than anyone what it is like to be on the other side of the table from Donald Trump. If the ladies were smart, they would take his advice from last night!

valkyrie 09-30-2004 04:13 PM

Dudes, don't you think Carolyn would be really hot if she had less frumpy hair?

Anyway, Jen sucked last night. She was angry and I didn't see her do anything constructive, plus her boardroom selections were purely personal. It's one thing to make "friends" on the show, but you just can't let it get in the way of business.

polarpi 09-30-2004 04:38 PM

And what I thought was great was her taxi confessional (or whatever you want to call it), where she's talking about how Sandy was supposed to be her "best friend" and then Sandy threw Jen's name out to be fired....okay, that happened before you made a decision as to who you'd bring into the boardroom with you, so it's your own d*** fault for not bringing her into the boardroom with you!

I guess I like rooting for the underdogs....I love Stacy and Elizabeth, and I can't get a read on which of the guys I'd be pulling for!

Unregistered- 09-30-2004 08:59 PM

I had a great time seeing Jen C. try to pull shit outta her ass last night. She was right on one thing though--Stacy needs to shut up once in a while...she talks too much and I'd probably go insane if I had to work with her.

The girls seem to be dropping like flies. Don't know who I want to win just yet, but if they keep John the Marketing Director then I'll keep on watching.

Glad Jen C.'s gone...don't know what disturbed me more. The way she ran her mouth or her HAIR!

Carolyn's hair is much better this season than last. I think she's looking pretty good now. Did anyone else notice how much she was glowing when she was standing next to Bill at the beginning of the episode? She luuuurves him (and I don't blame her).

Thank you, Trump, for firing someone based on their performance this week. Last week should have never happened.

Jen M. is the only decent woman. The rest need to get the boot ASAP.

i noticed that too!!! i'm sure i would be glowing too though, he's so hott! anyways... i'm glad Jen is gone, she was so annoying! she didn't know when to shut up! i haven't posted in this thread since Bradford was fired so i'm going to bring it back to Stacy J really quick. Did you guys notice when she mentioned sororities? She said something along the lines of all the girls being catty and acting like they're in a sorority. I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing that she's gone though. She was definately an obstacle but she brought the team together at the same time b/c they all had one thing in common: they didn't like Stacy J. Now that Stacy J's gone they don't have anything bonding them together, so they're all fighting which causes them to lose.

AlphaSigOU 10-02-2004 12:05 AM

Didja know that Jen may be in jeopardy of losing her job as a real estate agent in NYC for the insensitive anti-Semitic comment on Thursday's show?

WhirlwindTNX 10-02-2004 09:05 AM

good, karma is a b$tch.

cutiepatootie 10-02-2004 11:22 AM

I havent really sat down to watch much this season....... i was mad when bradford was fired.....he was sooo cute in my opinion.....but last night i saw the rerun of the show that Bill sat in on and the girl got fired because she made it purely personal.

Carolyn i think has a crush on Bill..... to cute event hough
she is married w ith a family. I saw it clearly toward t he end of last season and now.

Unregistered- 10-08-2004 03:03 AM

What the EFF?

IMO Pamela did NOT deserve to be fired tonight. These chicks can't get along with each other AT ALL, and despite only losing by $10, it was clear that Pamela got the boot because she was actually doing what she was supposed to. How the fuck do you go from having the Don impressed with your performance and your background to getting fired? Obviously I'm no businesswoman, but come on. It seems as if these chicks are losing credibility more and more each week...wait till the guys find out!

I hope none of these women win it all (well, except Elizabeth), and Stacy just gets more annoying with each episode!

And the Anna Kournikova bit... overrated. Uh, why is she sooooo beloved again?

smiley21 10-08-2004 07:22 AM

i loved Pamela. she is the only one that is strong and knows what she is doing. the other women were intimidated and knew that she could beat them, so they made her look bad. i thought the lawyer girl should have gotten fired. she just annoyed me. she does not have what it takes to work for Donald. Pamela was too good for them. she would have done awesome working for Trump, i think

wrigley 10-08-2004 12:29 PM

Pamela was a great leader and laid down the law with not putting up with the cattyness. I thought it was ironic that the previous project leaders were complaining about how things were being done considering they screwed up too. Thank goodness there was a run through, Maria who said she was a great in public speaking, stunk on camera.

The price of the stain remover was too high. She should have said that was the initial price and have the presenters on camera cut the price to 19.99 or do a buy 1 at full price and get the second one at half price.

How interesting is that the Mosaics' grill didn't start moving until QVC got a call from a "random woman in Oklahoma" who raved about the grill?

It was priceless to watch Raj lose his bet with Anna and running around the stadium getting beaned by everyone.

tunatartare 10-08-2004 01:06 PM

I think Maria should have been fired last night because she said that she was goot at public speaking and sales and then she was so bad during the run through that they had to replace her 15 minutes before the actual airing. However, Pamela did annoy me last night because she told Stacy to do legal, but then said that Stacy was talking too much. Umm Stacy's an attorney, she knows what she's doing. Let the woman speak.

valkyrie 10-10-2004 02:53 PM

I agree that Maria sucked, but Pamela blew a lot of hot air at everyone and didn't really do a good job leading. It was good the way she took control of the situation and actually acted like a leader at the beginning rather than being all wishy washy like the other women have been, but first of all she was way too bitchy from the start, which isn't going to motivate anyone to do a good job. Second, she should've done more work to determine who would be best at what tasks rather than just taking everyone's word for it -- Maria might be good at public speaking in some situation, but she was REALLY BAD on QVC. Stacy is pretty annoying, but she was right with doing legal the way she was doing it -- Pamela should've told her from the start that her job was to get the legal department to say yes to everything rather than objectively determining whether they'd have any legal issues.

Of the women, I think Jen is really good. I love Raj and Kevin (I think that's his name) on the guys' side, and the kind of cute guy they had flirting with the gay guys last week.

Not by herself, anyway. She won a doubles title with Martina Hingis (Australian Open) a few years ago, but that's it.

But many think she's uber credible because of all the calendars/Maxim/Stuff covers she's put out.

tinydancer 10-10-2004 09:43 PM

I just started watching this show and it's interesting. I have never seen such a bitchy group of women, however. I think they will all turn on each other and implode.
That little short girl with the long hair looks about 12! I have 5th graders that look older than she does. What does she do IRL?

It'll be interesting to see next week's epi when the guys have to deal with *dum*dum*dum FASHION.

I didn't know that all the Apprentice 2 candidates had Friendster pages.

So far there's only one Greek outta the league--John the hot marketing guy boy is a Beta Theta Pi from Berkeley. Yum yum gimme some.

Needless to say, yes, I signed up to be a John groupie!

I never said she wasn't hot. She's pretty, but everything about her is less credible, and she's a joke to the tennis world because she's just not good enough.

valkyrie 11-05-2004 06:10 PM

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool to bring them back like that. Stacey is fun.

Ivana hasn't done squat but argue with people. So Raj made some mistakes -- at least he did something. It's easy to never make mistakes when you don't take charge and don't do much.

CutiePie2000 11-05-2004 09:39 PM

Raj was great...I was so choked that he got canned. But going from 4 bedrooms to 3 was a dumb mistake. Given that Real Estate is his bag, he should have known better.

Will Maria please get fired soon? I cannot take her blinkety-blink blink for one more second! ARGGGHH!!!

wrigley 11-06-2004 07:40 PM

What was with Ivana slamming Stacey then trying to turn it into a backhanded compliment? I thought it was great when Donald and all called her on it. Bitterness is an accessory that's never in style.

I was sorry to see Raj go. He shows great integrity by accepting responsibility for his team's loss unlike some other project managers who tried to pass the buck.

How convenient was it for the other team to have an additional contractor "driving by" to offer his services and save the day.?;)
