What did he say to them??

lostnfound117 10-01-2004 05:28 PM

From http://www.wnbc.com/entertainment/3776107/detail.html:

ALBANY, N.Y. -- "Apprentice" contestant Jennifer Crisafulli was told "you're fired" by Donald Trump this week.

Now she reportedly has lost her real job as well.

An official with the Manhattan firm where Crisafulli was a real estate agent told the Times-Union of Albany that she would not be welcomed back because of comments she made on Wednesday night's episode of "The Apprentice."

Crisafulli -- an Albany native living in Manhattan -- made remarks that were perceived by some as anti-Semitic. She has said she did not mean to offend

I read the article and caught this episode. People have to be careful on reality shows what they say because you never know how its going to reflect. I'm still rooting for Kevin!

Steeltrap 10-02-2004 10:21 AM

Stacie J?

FYI:

I found this link on the Ford Models Web site for a Stacie Upchurch, who looks like Stacie J. One of the earlier articles above mentioned SJ's Ford career.

He basically said that they were just using this incident for their own good. That if they'd had a problem with Crazy Stacie they should have said so last week. And if they were so afraid they should have gone to the producers back then instead of wait until the next week to do it in the boardroom.

Apprentice Article Alert

I don't watch the show, but there's a good piece in the new Entertainment Weekly (with Sarah Michelle Gellar on the cover) that talks about the Apprentice and how black women are portrayed on this and other reality shows.

delph998 10-04-2004 04:21 PM

I read that Sistermadly. It was a good article. Did you all see Jen C on The View today? She pratically cried on the show saying that she wasn't trying to be derogatory on the show. She also said she was disappointed that they even aired that piece. It was pretty good.

Conskeeted7 10-04-2004 07:41 PM

I saw her on The View this morning. I kinda have to agree with what the pregnant girl had to say. You can't say that isn't really me and it was taken out of context in that kind of situation. You say things that are natural for you to say. Just admit it and apologize for offending anyone. But don't try to act like you wouldn't normally say something like that, or that's so 'not you.'

I know Conskeeted, I liked what Elisabeth had to say too. Jen C is a fiery person and meant what she said on national television, but the floor has fallen underneath her and she needs a job. It's going to be hard for her to find a job now.

Contestant Wes works for some type of financial firm in Atlanta and there was a recent article in the paper about this type of thing. They interviewed PR types at some of the major companies here (Delta, Coke, Home Depot, UPS, etc) to see if they thought an employee going on this type of show was a good or bad thing. The consensus was it was a bad thing, since people could say something that would reflect poorly on the company. Jen C was a great example of that.

BTW, thanks for that TV without pity link, CT4! I was howling reading it!

It is going to be very difficult for her to get a job now. She should have considered that when she went on the show though. I'm sure she didn't think that her real job would fire her, but when you are on TV and everyone knows who you work for, you are representing them as well. I'm sure her company didn't want to be known as "the place where the girl that talked about Jews on the Apprentice works."

She needs to find an agent/manager and try to find some PR angle she can manipulate to get some cash in the meantime...in other words...she needs to pull an Omarosa...lol

lostnfound117 10-08-2004 10:05 AM

DANG!! Pam was my favorite lady (actually I can't any of the rest of them). I think she did a great job and shoudn't have gotten fired. Now that Lil Stacy, I can't STAND her!!

If all the women are gone though, its gonna get boring with just all the guys. None of them are really interesting!!

Naw, Imma hafta disagree with you. Though I understood what she was trying to do with the women on the team, she went about it the wrong way. I agree with what Donald Trump said to her, she didn't do a good assessment. How can she charge that ridiculous price for some sponges?? Errybody knows that $19.99 is the magic price, lol.

That's assuming they would have sold more..as it stands at the volume they sold with the price they would have lost by even more.

Trump is being assinine with his choices...Pam made assignments & assessments based on what the team members told her - she hasn't worked with them so when exactly was she to figure out their true strengths and weaknesses.

Those girls needed their tails whipped into shape and they hated the fact that Pamela came from the other team and made them effective. They didn't want to be talked to like children but they consistenly act like children & constantly try to one up each other. Was it really nexxesary for Jen to give feedback OVER AN OPEN MIKE when Pam was on her way downstairs?? Maria can whimper all she wants - for someone who allegedly does public speaking she was a TOTAL MESS on camera and if they had the items priced at $5 and left her in lead they would not have sold anything and probably would have lost by even more.

That they lost by $10 was really too bad given the way they worked...that they returned to form and again paced ALL the blame on one person to maintain their positions (& Trump playing into it) is terribly offensive to me as a business woman. That scrimp Jen the lawyer needs her behind kicked in the worst way - I hope she is PM next week so they can finally see she is all talk and no substance. How these airheads even made it on this show speaks volume about Trumps true intentions...they can't be that good on paper.

FeeFee 10-08-2004 02:10 PM

Don't forget - the guys get to sell the grill on QVC this coming Monday, 10/11. :)

I aree with just about everything you stated. Except, I think that Pam should have went with the so-called "magic" $19.99 price, and put the spin on there like "and you get such-and-such for free (extra sponges, or something already inlcuded in the package, I don't know). People love to think they are getting a deal.

Other than that, she did the best job I felt she could do. Trump knew he was throwing her to the wolves. None of those girls is going to end up winning anyway.

delph998 10-09-2004 10:36 PM

I love this show! I was kinda disappointed that Pamela got voted off. I thought she actually got the the group together. They are so disorderly! Ultimately, Pamela was the reason why the team lost so, she is the reason why she got fired. Did you all see her on The View on Friday? She seemed pretty cool about the situation. Jen C., however, is SOL right about now! Too bad for her.

strivingsf 10-10-2004 06:02 PM

I think Stacie R. is going to be the last of the women left. It seems as if she throws little comments during the boardroom and starts people going against each other, stands back to look at the chaos.

She REALLLLYYY irkes me man!!! I didn't want the women to win this week b/c I still hate what they did to Stacie J. They are so cut-throat.

Both the women and men's team had ugly clothes!!!!

I was glad Kevin was saved man....And was cut to def when he answered the phone from Trump's secretary (LOL!)...sorry I was lusting there for just a brief second.

lostnfound117 10-21-2004 11:41 PM

Whew!! I'm glad little Stacy is out of there. She really irked the crapola out of me man!! She talks too much. Does she have a Napolean Complex maybe...b/c I'm not quite understanding the need to talk this dang on much!!

strivingsf 10-22-2004 11:29 AM

LnF, u r not the only one. I was hoping Trump would fire Stacy or Wes the turncoat.

Yeah child!! I fell out with Wes for sending my boy Kevin to the other team. I still don't like ANY of the women. I kind of also like Kelly...I think he's a cute white boy!

lostnfound117 10-27-2004 01:58 PM

Hell Nawl....

Property tycoon Donald Trump is set to add a taste of hip-hop to his hit reality show The Apprentice - by securing an appearance by Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz.

The show follows a group of contenders as they vie for a job with Trump's empire by carrying out a host of business tasks - which in the past has included projects for celebrities.

It is not yet known what the "What You Gon' Do?" rappers will be doing on the show, which is currently in its second season

Neosoulchild 10-28-2004 10:05 PM

Has anyone noticed how they keep doing these voice overs in the boardroom? It's so obvious that I just have to laugh at their attempt to make it seem like Trump is saying those things real time. But oh well. It was time for Elizabeth to go, so no complaints about this week's firing.

lostnfound117 10-29-2004 12:09 AM

Did anyone hear Wes call Elizabeth a "pu***"? I guess NBC missed bleeping that out.

It's gonna be great when Stacie J comes back next week.

WhirlwindTNX 10-29-2004 09:16 AM

Could someone please tell me how Stacie J is going to come back? Did they mention it in the previews or just say that she's coming?

skeeliteful 10-29-2004 09:49 AM

I figure she's coming back just like they brought back Omarosa last season. The preview also said Jennifer, Bradford, and another guy are coming back.

Neosoulchild 11-18-2004 10:38 PM

Why does Maria blink so much? It's like she always has dry eyes or something. They should have her do a Visine commercial, and show her for 1 whole second without blinking.

RBL 11-18-2004 10:40 PM

Dang the brotha was sweatin' like crazy during that presentation:D

Boy that Jen keep squeaking by:mad:

Paradise359 11-18-2004 10:59 PM

Maria does blink ALOT and her face is KIND OF SHINY!!

jojapeach 11-19-2004 02:06 AM

*in Ed McMahon's voice*

YES!!!

Oh it felt good to see both of them in the cab together. But especially Maria.
:D

kappaloo 11-19-2004 10:03 AM

ANY episode that shows Kevin topless is a good episode indeed. Those arms! *swoon*

AND.... Maria is gone! It only made the episode better.

strivingsf 11-19-2004 01:10 PM

i am glad Kevin stepped up to the plate and volunteered 2 b PM and they won 2 boot. someone should have slapped jennifer "catty #@#$". I also think the team should have corrected the error asked who stood out on the team. it was ivanna's idea that lead to a win.

Maria should have been fired before stacy j., she totally freaked when they did the qvc task, that fast blinking drove me nuts. she yells at everyone.

i wonder if wes chose 2 team members instead of three would the outcome have been the same?

futurestar1 11-19-2004 01:59 PM

Maria

Na na na na, na na na na
hey hey hey
goodbye!

I am so glad she is gone. Andy is taking it home for the young'uns.

Apprentice Statistics

As with last year, I have obtained this year's Apprentice 2 statistics, along with the Final Four's odds of winning (courtesy of Anemic Dog @ fansofrealitytv.com).

However, since this year's Apprentice discussion in this forum isn't generating a lot of momentum as it did last year, I have posted it in the General Chat: Entertainment forum under the Apprentice 2 thread.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

TTT - 3 hour finale this Thurday

Heads up, yall!

The finale is scheduled for this Thursday starting at 8:00 pm and will last 3 hours.

Who will be the next Apprentice - Kelly Perdew or Jennifer Massey? Tune in and find out!!

Also, the O'Jays (For the Love of Money) will be performing.

Check it out!

Neosoulchild 12-16-2004 10:48 PM

Is anyone else watching this? Why in the world is it three hours? Are Kwame and Omarosa the only black people in the audience? It's obvious that Kelly should take it. They really could have made this an hour long show.

RBL 12-16-2004 10:51 PM

They should have had all this audience input last season:(
