A lot of chapter had snap bidding and COB confused. Like I said to Danielle it's a way to fill quota and it's usually done in a way that the chapter doesn't know who was snapped and who matched. It's a way to reward the women who play the recruitment game.
They didn't snap last year because the computer program can't snap bid, but we are returning to hand bid matching. To KellyO97 - per the NPC green book, NO undergraduate member should be present at bid matching. Good luck to everyone tonight! |
Any word on how numbers are looking yet? If you don't want to post here, you can always PM me! Now that I don't live with a chapter member, i'm so out of the loop!

Please PM me, too, Cheyenne, if you don't want to post numbers. Thanks! :)
I'm just heartbroken that so few women went through rush this year. Being greek was one of the very best things I did at Pitt and I honestly can't understand why anyone would NOT want to! |

Question: How much did it cost to sign up for rush this year? I'm thinking that it wasn't enough, if that many signed up but never showed up. |
there are no collegiates allowed at bidmatching either at our school. (u of toronto)

Somethings went down with bid matching that shouldnt have. Want details? PM me.. ps, I dont have any of the specifics, but almost every house reached quota |
TPARose, I Pmed you.
From what i've heard, it seems like at least the quota seemed to work out well. Of course, we won't have final numbers until the girls are done COBing. Which I'm guessing will be most houses. As frustrating as it is, it's nice to see so many more houses making quota. I remember when there would be maybe 4 who made quota consistently |
Just in case - yay - we got quota!!!

ADPi originally was one short, but I made a call, and rumor has it that quota has indeed been made! |
AWWWWWW! Yay for Pittsburgh. I love love love my hometown! Although I've got a question...where the HELL are the Greek Houses on campus? I rememberd a City Paper article a while ago that had a huge feature article about how a fraternity (don't remember which one) was having problems with the neighbors, I think they lived on Meyran. I know that CMU has very distinct fraternity rows and sorority houses, but I could never find them at Pitt even though I've lived in the city since I was born! (Except now...I'm living in columbus) . If you ever see a person wearing Tau Delta letters, say HI! It's me!
