I am SO EXCITED that they didn't ask stupid, throw-away questions, but real, "this is a scholarship competition" ones!

Well, if anyone knows the girls personally they could post about them too. I know Miss Kentucky because I went to both high school & UK w/ her so I posted in the ADPi forum to tell them when she won! :D

I went to the Miss LA & Miss AL sites, and the Miss Alabama site had her listed. I out the warning before I had a chance to get to the Miss America site.

I really liked Miss LA, but hated her evening gown. It's possibly a "thing" I have, because I don't care for animal prints, but the dress didn't flatter her cute figure, either!

I didn't see it on Miss Alabama's site-- it just said she won the Quality of Life award!!

Also, Miss Louisiana had the leopard dress on, not Cali!! :)

ETA: But it does say on Louisiana that she was 1st runner up!!

Well if she is greek, I'd LOVE for her to be an ADPi, since I'm partial to my own sorority ;). But if we find out she is Greek, honestly it wouldn't matter, cause she's just greek. LOL.

whoa whoa whoa whoa....Veena!?!!? No F'in way, I just saw her the other day! ! I went to HS with this chick! i was realy good friends with her HS boyfriend at the time. actaully i think they are together still? man, if i would have known she was gonna be in it, i would have gotten together with the old crew and gotten sloshed!

and i had no idea she was in a sorority!

We were at the theatre and missed the show. Was Miss Colorado in the hunt? She went to High School with two of our kids.

There was a lot of excitement last night in Atlantic City. It was great to be at the pageant and even funner! to be with people from Alabama :)

I came across this thread after looking at AL stuff, Yep this is old I know, but Miss Alabama Deidre Downs didn't rush at Samford. She's an AXO from Zeta Lambda chapter at UVA.

Yup :) She's on the cover of the Lyre this issue!

Are there any greek women in the 2008 pageant? It's much earlier this year - January 26th!

As a side note, Miss Massachusetts is not Greek, however she lives down the street from me....

Miss Colorado Maggie Ireland is a Kappa Delta (Colorado State).

Miss Ohio, Roberta Camp, is not Greek

Leah Massee, Miss Georgia, is a Phi Mu from Valdosta State.

Molly Hazlett, Miss Texas, is a member of Chi Alpha at Sam Houston State.
