|
OH Ashley that is great news!!! I'm so happy for your family. I know no matter what the outcome would have been, you would have loved your baby with all your heart. But it is wonderful to know your baby will be happy and healthy!! Yea!!!
|
I am so happy for you Ashley!! God is good!
Sherra make sure you let us know once you find out about if you are having a legacy or a future husband of an ADPi!! ;) |
I promise to let you all know just as soon as I find out. :)
|
The verdict is in....Baby Ogden cooporated beautifully!!!
We are having......... A Future ADPI husband!!!! David Case Ogden Jr. :) He will go by Case!!! :) |
I LOVE that name!!!
Don't be surprised if he gets "Justin", though (Justin Case?). ;) Congratulations!!! |
How cute is that!! Congrats Sherra!
(And Honeychile I always do that too when I look at baby names!) |
Congratulations Sherra!

Yay Sherra!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you and your husband!! I love his name.
Honey - That's why we haven't been able to pick out a name yet. I can find something wrong with every single name that is suggested. Unfortunately, my husband is just as bad. My poor child will probably remain nameless for a while ... |
Ashley, your having a little boy right? This might sound kind of odd, but maybe take a poll of friends and family and just find out what names everyone likes. Or, have you and your husband each make a list of names and the first common name you both have "is it". :)
Hey I'm not even engaged, married, dating anyone and I've already got my kids names picked out. Pretty sad huh? |
I'm not too worried about his name. I love it! My husband isn't as fond of his middle name as I am, but this is the best way to avoid the "jr" sigma or two people with the same name in our house. :)
Ashley, We also loved the following names: James Christopher Devon Michael Abraham Johnathon Good luck!! |
OK- I guess I'll go ahead and officially join this thread..... some of you already know..... I am pregnant again and little WLFEO will make an appearance this spring. I am excited but would be more so if I could stop throwing up & up & up & up & up & up (you get the picture!).
|

Hoping that the throwing up and up and ad nauseum ;) will end for you soon! :) |

I am soooo happy for you WLFEO!!!!! |
Congratulations, WLFEO!!
|
Congratulations!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry that you're so sick. As you may recall, I had hypermesis, so you might have that as well. After phenegran and just about every other anti-nausea medicine wouldn't help, I was put on zofran. Zofran really made a difference. I hope you feel better soon!
We have finally decided on a name ... Jonathan Bryce. We're going to call him Bryce. L&L, Ashley |
I love his name Ashley!! Bryce is perfect!!! :) Congratulations!!
And WFLEO... ITs about time you told!! Now we can celebrate with you!!!! YAY!!!!! |

I love that name Bryce also! Good choice, sister! I am also taking Zofran. It seems to help the most of anything I've tried yet. Phenegran worked well for me last time, but this time it was awful. Also there was another one-I can't remember the name but it did nothing. Oh and a friend told me to take ginger, so I went to a health food store, got ginger candy, and they were soooooo gross. They smelled like feet and tasted spicy. I bravely tried 3 pieces but threw the rest away. L&L, WLFEO |
Congratulations, WLFEO!!!!! I'm absolutely thrilled for you!! So, are you hoping for a future ADPi-husband, too (since you like the name Bryce)?
If you're game for another nausea "cure", people I know who travel for a living (to exotic places) swear by lemons & saltines. |

Usually the ginger pills work better then candy or tea for nausea. You can usually find these at health food stores also. However, since you're already taking Zofran, you don't need to worry about trying anything else. Don't want to double dose! |

How far along are you? I hope you feel better really soon. I know how miserable you must be feeling. L&L, Ashley |
Adorable Lion Items for Babies
OK- I saw the CUTEST lion stuff for babies at Pottery Barn Kids. They have lion bath toys that are fuzzy and also a lion bath towel where the hood is the lion's head. So adorable! I am a sucker for buying anything with lions for my daughter.
|
OKay....its time for updates....lets hear it ladies!!
Case is doing wonderfully! At 25 weeks, we are right on schedule. Last night he seemed to have found his feet and sure liked using those legs they are attached too. LOL!! We were watching the "Incredibles" and Mr. Case was going to town kicking me like crazy. :) I can't wait to see how his personality is once he is done cooking. :) |
Hey Sherra! I'm so glad that Case is doing so well!! Gosh, I didn't realize that you were 25 weeks. You're about to head right into your third trimester. Can you believe how quickly the time has passed?
I'm 30 weeks right now. Bryce is moving all over the place too - so much that he keeps me awake a lot during the night. It's reached the point that I can see my stomach move when he moves. It's so cool, but a little strange at the same time. It's kind of alienish. Is your nursery all set up? I'm the worst slacker in the world. The only thing that is in our nursery so far is his changing table, bassinet, tons of clothes that I've already received, and his nursery bedding. My crib isn't here yet, and I can't decide what color I want to paint the walls. I need to get moving or he'll be here before it's complete. I hope that the next 10 weeks fly by because I can't wait to see his little face!!!! |
No, my nursery isn't set up at all. With our pending move the week after Case is born, I won't be setting up a nursery until after we get to Utah. BUt that is okay, less stuff to break down and pack. We havne't gotten most of our big stuff yet, I'm hoping that will all work its way out at our next two showers. :)
I'm very excited about starting my third trimester. I just wish Mr. Case would decide which direction he wants to be and stay there. LOL one week its head down, the next head up, the next head sideways. He is a ham already. :) |
Are you for sure moving to Utah?
|
Yes. We got the final word about 2 weeks ago. So I'm pulling my hair out trying to make it all work financially. And I'm going to miss my alum group and collegiate group. there aren't any near me. :(

Double :( :(
When are y'all moving, Sherra? |
we've scheduled our move for Feb. 14th and Mr. Case is scheduled to arrive Feb. 4th, pending any unforseen complications. I will be traveling to a new state with a week old baby. :(
|
February 14th?! Y'all thrive on romance, don't you? ;)
My parents moved when I was one month old - Case will be just fine! Well, assuming you think I'm doing all right... |
wowie! maybe mr. case will be born on my bday!!!! that would be so cool!
|
Case is scheduled for the 4th. When is your bday Arnette? I'm hoping for no complications because it will make the move much easier for us all.
|
Case could arrive anywhere between January 14th and February 18th and still be considered a "Term Pregnancy". Maybe you'll be moving with a 2-3 week old or even still pregnant!
|
Hmmm.... my parents' wedding anniversary was February 2nd (they made it to 55 years prior to my daddy dying, so it has to be a good day!), and and my daddy's birthday was February 18th!
So, think of February 2, 6, or 18th (thus far!)!! |
