Baby Berry will be moving in this weekend and attending a recruitment meeting shortly thereafter! She has met women from 5 of the chapters and has cousins in other chapters of 4 of the groups, besides being a legacy to one.

How is BabyBerry doing?

Baby Berry is packing up the last of her things and getting ready to move in this weekend. She's been to the campus several times lately, as Baby Berry Boy (hahahahaha!) cheers varsity there.

She had her hair done yesterday, gets her nails done tomorrow, and starts a new chapter of her life in a couple of days! And she may be Greek in a couple of weeks!

All right, Baby Berry moved in today and has attended a meeting! The sororities at her school are: Ruby, Opal, Topaz, Sapphire, Pearl, Diamond, Emerald, and Turquoise. Early in the week, she'll attend 2 sets of non-invitational parties.

Hopefully she'll call with a nightly update once the cuts begin and she'd *better* call on Bid Day (unlike her sister ASLFRose, who left us hanging for HOURS while she partied at the AOII House!)

oooooh....finally, another rush thread! i hope that your daughter gives updates...and that she finds her favorite jewel!

We know that she has to be a gem, to be part of the Carnation Nation - I hope she finds the house that will be the perfect setting for her! :)

Good news--her cousin is also rushing at the same school! She signed up at the last minute. So who knows, they may end up sisters as well as cousins!

Seriously, I hope that your Baby Berry finds her home. It would be very awesome if her cousin ended up being her sister as well. There's so many more things that she and her cousin will be bonded by then :)

My cousin and I are cousins and sisters! It is a wonderful bond! I just wish we could have been in the chapter together at the same time....but she did not rush until 2001...and I graduated in 2000! It is so cute because our dad's are brothers so we have the same last name, and I always went by my last name, and now she does too!

Oh I love it-- I hope they join the same house!

Good news! Baby Berry called us at the high school football game and she only got cut by one group. She will be returning to:Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz !

Interesting fact: In Chinese culture, one refers to cousins from the father's side who share the same last name as "sisters/brothers". For my two cousins and me, all born and raised in Canada, it is really annoying when our grandmother tells them to "say hi to Big Sister" (moi).
