I was President from 2005-2006

It was the hardest job I've ever had, and I was recruitment, social and house president.... Benefits? .... i got to be like... i'm president... get me a beer.... that's..... about ittttttt. lol

I was president of my local from 96-98.

I was president of my chapter (Phi Sigma Kappa, Ball State) in 1990. Then the Earth cooled and the dinasours came....:rolleyes:

I was President/Commander for a Quarter and then again for a Full year.

As an add on what perks came with being President of your chapter? In our chapter our President/Commander does not have to pay dues.

I was President, during my last semester in school. It was probably one of the hardest jobs I have ever had.

I don't think there were perks, other than being able to cast the deciding vote when a tie was was called during a motion. But in that case, you have half the group mad at you ;).

Was Basileus (President) in undergrad 80-'81 and in a grad chapter circa '94-'96.

Free dues, a bigger badge, and a trip to Grand Chapter/College of Chapters.

I was president of my chapter many, many years ago.

I was president of my chapter as an undergrad. Our president got a single room back then, and she still does today!

I was president of my chapter in 2005. The best perk was wearing the opal president's badge (unique to my chapter)... But then I'm a sucker for badges :D

I was president twice - different chapters - while an undergrad. In the first chapter, I got to pass the flame to my little sister, who served as chapter president right after me. That was cool.

I was chapter president in 2009. I can't think of any perks, but I was president when we received our charter, so that was pretty special.

I was chapter president which meant single room with my own bathroom and parking space.
